5 star Bifold Door replacement
We had bifold door replacement installed by Forsyths. Original timber bifold unit poorly installed 15 years prior, with no external drainage, eventually failed. Forsyths installed powder coated aluminium German engineered units with minimal hassle, worked with landscape team to produce exemplary work, stunning result. Fantastic company to work with, can’t praise highly enough. Chief onsite lead gaffer, aka ‘the professor’ is an expert craftsman. Would turn to Forsyth’s every time.

Glass Banister & Cleaner
We got the glass for our glass banister from here and everything went smoothly, glass was delivered exactly when needed and our fitter said it was cut to the exact measurements he gave, so the the fitting was easy as well.
We also got a can of the glass cleaner which is amazing, it brings the glass up so well and leaves no marks at all, it is a must have if you have glass anywhere in the house.
We would highly recommend this company and would have no issues in using them again.
We wouldn’t go anywhere else
We wouldn’t go anywhere else! The quality of the items and the precision with fitting from the team is like no other. We also love the fact that it’s a family run business!
Happy Customer
Used this company a lot over the years for both mirror wardrobes and splashbacks. Could not be more professional, timely and accommodating.
Staff are always professional from initial contact to instillation and the finished product is always perfect. Will continue to give them my business in the future.

Excellent service and quick turnaround for glass I required for my new home. Would definitely use again.
Bully Driver
Morning, i have just witnessed one of your drivers bullying a wee delivery lassie @st enochs square glasgow 31/07/2025 10:15am.
The girl in question had her van parked outside a premises whilst making a delivery. She had left more than plenty of room for other vans to pass.
But your driver insisted on pumping his horn for five minutes until she came out.
Then made her reverse on to the main road on howard street with him driving bumper to bumper forcing her back and causing her some distress.
This full situation could have been deescalated straight away if he had just passed the parked van.
Not a great advert for your company Forsyth Glazing.
Yours sincerely,
Concerned witness.
Delighted !
Great service, ordered sliding mirror doors for wardrobe, prompt service, delivered when they said they would. Has transformed the bedroom.
Ordered, arrived and fitted
Ordered Three section mirror doors , I’d assume really straightforward for Forsyth’s . Bit of a glitch with the delivery to an empty property despite asking for a call before delivery.
Doors , tracks, absolutely perfect easily fitted. The system used makes for really smooth operation.
Great service.
Ordered several sets of mirrored wardrobe doors. Manufactured and delivered quickly and perfect fit. One door damaged in transit was replaced quickly with no hassle and great comms which is the service you want. Would definitely recommend.

Quality product made exact to (odd!) specification. Delivered by their own driver, hence lead time isn't shortest but worth the wait.

We’re do I even start used forsyths for…
We’re do I even start used forsyths for several years for mirrors and wardrobe doors.
Had a few teething issues over the years With delivery drivers not given us notice upon arrival as noted and not following instructions.
This weeks order has been the last straw!! Monday I calls to ask for a rough time as I always do and to remind them to give me an hours notice upon arrival. my costumer has taking time off to be available for fitting. I was told they couldn’t see me on the board for delivery so I was put on hold for 5 minutes instantly I knew there was an issue.
When they eventually come back to tell me my orders not on the van as the payment wasn’t logged instantly. I made it clear the payments made as always and offered to send over the back transfer. His reply no we have the payment but it wasn’t logged so we can’t deliver to next week now.
I made it clear this is an issue my customers took time off and I have the job booked in.
I asked to speak to a manager as this wasn’t good enough and not the first issue.
Sandra supposedly the Manager comes on the phone With a stinking attitude her words a can’t physically put them in a can and drive down myself. We can’t do anything until next weeks delivery.
So I hung up explained to my customer the issue and offered free fitting to keep the piece.
Drives to forsyths first thing this morning With my labourer Troon to Glasgow branch collected the doors and track ap With my name sizes on each item.
Goes to for the tracks and surprise surprise the tracks too small 210mm short.
I calls them to be told it’s the correct track when I send an email confirming it’s not there only solution is to drive back to Glasgow and they will have the correct track sitting I refused as I am already out off pocket fitting and 2.5 hours sitting in traffic Troon to Glasgow.
I called to tell them I have went purchased a track from Howdens so I would like a refund. Again put on hold to be told it’s a like for like swap only that’s how they work.
Avoid this shit show off a company especially With Sandra’s attitude.

Very disappointed
Very disappointed in Forsyth glazing from start to finish. We ordered a balustrade, was advised of a timescale for it to be available to collect & made payment for it.
We were contacted & advised of an issue with the channeling that it would not be available for potentially months however, they happened to have channeling in the size we required in the workshop that had some marks on it but they could fix it if we wanted to go ahead and that a cover could be provided to go over the top of it if needed - again wouldn’t be available for months but channeling could at least be fitted for when we needed it to be.
I requested photos of the channeling which were sent over (I still have the photos Forsyth provided) The damage looked minimal however we did ask if money could be taken off as we would be receiving something we paid full price for that was not brand new due to an error on Forsyths side. The man dealing with this spoke to his manager to ask however, they declined to deduct any money off as once it was repaired it would be ‘as good as new’ & they advised that they provided covers for the channeling if it was needed. We agreed to go ahead with it as we didn’t have time to to wait.
A couple of weeks passed & we had no update & other work in our new home had to be put on hold until this was fitted. I contacted Forsyth glazing who advised they had not yet ordered the glass or fixed the channeling as ‘my husband was going to go in & look at it’
I had already agreed to accepting the channeling from the photos provided. We were days away from moving into our home & still had no balustrade fitted & a dangerous open staircase. I advised the man I was dealing with that I was not happy as they had taken payment weeks before, I had advised we would take the channeling they had & nothing had been ordered to even start the process. They claimed they were waiting on us ‘letting them know’ however they made no attempt to contact us to discuss & had already taken payment.
I was told at this point it could take 2 weeks for the glass panel to be made. I expressed my frustration & concern on the phone & said that I would contact my partner to find out what he would like to do going forward. I was advised to do this & call them back to let them know. It was obvious in my tone at this stage the stress I was feeling as we now had the issue of moving into an unsafe house due to an open staircase with children through no fault of our own.
I discussed with my partner & called Forsyth back, to my relief I was told on this call that they could get the glass made within a matter of days - unsure why this changed within five minutes however we were happy this could be arranged quickly.
I collected the channeling from the store which was well wrapped in blue cellophane. From what I could see it looked ok & I took it home.
Once we unwrapped the channeling to have it fitted the real damage was visible. I was appalled at the state it was in. How this was handed over to us with the belief that it was ‘as good as new’ is shocking.
I contacted Forsyth again to discuss with the same man. I queried if he checked with his manager if they could provide us with the cover once it was in back in stock he advised he would speak to them & call me back. I received a call back advising the covers will be back in stock & that I would be charged over £100 for it.
Very disappointing for a company of this size that’s been running for so many years. Won’t be using Forsyth glazing again.

This is a brilliant company to order from. I am so amazed of the quality of the items I've ordered (3 sliding doors), the delivery service (the driver was great, as he waited for me for an hour to get at home). I very highly recommend this company! P.S. I very, very very write reviews, but these guys deserve to put a little effort to do it.

Avoid Forsyth Glazing at all costs
I have never experienced such bad customer service from any company in my life. We first used this company a couple of years ago. They were horrendous to deal with then but we thought it might be new staff and a one off so we will give them another try because we wanted the same mirror doors as we had moved house. When we went into the store, we seen that Sandra was still there and she was really abrupt with a customer and I said to my wife, this is going to be a nightmare again. To put you in the picture. The first time we used them our hallway and bedroom had just been decorated with new skirtings and door facings installed . The new mirror doors came out and the doors had bars on them that were meant to be equally spaced. once they were installed the bars didn't match up and some of them were damaged but no wonder they were damaged as the fitter was hitting them off every door frame in my hall way. I ended up having to repair 3 of my door frames in the hallway and there was 9 dents in my bedroom ceiling that needed filled in and painted again. The doors all in went back and forward about 4 times to get sorted. This time around, the doors came , some of them where white, they came with a purple dye all over them which myself and their driver tried to wipe off to no avail. I installed them myself this time as there was 3 rooms getting done and I didn't want them wrecking the 3 rooms. Again the doors went back and forward for various issues as in black permanent marker over the white doors, more purple dye again, the bars not matching up, a cracked bit of mirror. To me its not rocket science to measure things out. If the bars are meant to be equally spaced it means they should be the same size. My 8 year old son could measure them better . I actually asked if they get checked before they get sent out and the decent driver said yes they are meant to , so how can they get them so wrong. There was some times as much 8cm of difference in the distance in the bars. I don't know if the guy that measured them was blind or drunk but it there was something far wrong. Then one day a different driver came with a stinking attitude towards my wife which is unacceptable. They had to take the doors away again because of some problems again and then they told me that if we weren't happy with the doors again they weren't doing anything to fix it. They then sent the doors out with a big dent in the back of 1 one of them. When you are paying more than £3000 for doors, they should be perfect or at least near enough perfect, once they have your money they aren't interested. They try to make you feel as if your the problem because they can't do the job right. I know if it was my company. I wouldn't be happy with my staff sending out goods that aren't fit for purpose and if my staff spoke to customers the way they do in that place, I would sack them on the spot. They waste that much time messing them up instead of taking their time to get it right. They should also try and protected them with something other than a flimsy bit of tape, no wonder they are constantly coming out damaged. Overall, a very disappointing experience. I don't usually write reviews but If I can stop one person wasting there money ,time and effort with this company then it was worth the time to write it.
