Absolutely awful service it has gone on for months. I just wanted my money back. Item arrived at warehouse yet they’ve disputed it. Tried every possible way to resolve the issue. In the current situation you’d think they’d value a loyal customer. I will never ever shop with them ever again. Left me out of pocket. They will never take accountability and make you go back and forth. Disgusting service non empathetic replies. DO NOT Shop with them go to JD sports instead!!!

DO NOT BUY from Foot Locker UK — A Systemic Failure, Breach of Contract, and No Shame

Order number: 31900440246571395136 — New Balance trainers (Beigetan-Beigetan)
Invoice: OBS16254391 (Paid 8 August 2025)

I paid Foot Locker on 8 August 2025. As of 19 August, my order still hasn’t even left their warehouse. DHL shows “Awaiting Carrier Pickup” — meaning the parcel was never handed over. That’s 11 days of them holding my money and providing NOTHING.

Instead of fixing the issue, Foot Locker insulted my intelligence by replying with a copy-paste “check with your neighbours” message. How can I check with neighbours when the parcel never even left their warehouse? Either customer service didn’t read my email, or they simply don’t care.

To make this circus worse, on the very same day they emailed me asking for a product review — for trainers I never even received. Their system literally congratulated me on an order that hasn’t been dispatched. That is how broken their processes are.

And this isn’t just me:
• Thousands of other customers report the exact same thing: weeks of delays with orders stuck at “Awaiting Carrier Pickup.”
• Refunds promised but not processed for weeks.
• Customer service copy-pasting irrelevant nonsense, with no escalation or accountability.
• In many cases, orders get cancelled months later with no effort to source the product.

This is not “bad luck” or an isolated mistake. It’s a systemic failure and it shows that Foot Locker UK does not respect its customers.

Let’s be clear:
• This is a breach of contract under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
• Taking money and failing to supply goods is an unfair trading practice under the Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations 2008.
• Foot Locker is not a bank. They have no right to sit on my money while providing nothing.

I will not accept a refund as resolution. The trainers are now out of stock, which means if they try to refund me, I lose the exact product I paid for. They are legally obliged to honour the contract and supply the trainers, even if that means sourcing them from another warehouse, another country, or directly from New Balance.

On top of that, I am entitled to compensation for:
• The 11+ days of unreasonable delay,
• The lack of communication,
• The insulting and irrelevant responses,
• And the stress caused by their incompetence.

If they don’t resolve this immediately, I will escalate through:
• Trading Standards (for breach of consumer law),
• A Section 75 claim with my credit card provider,
• And the Small Claims Court for specific performance and damages, including statutory interest at 8% under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts Act 1998.

Bottom line: Foot Locker UK’s system is a joke, their customer service is worthless, and their respect for consumers is non-existent. Unless you enjoy paying for products you never receive, being fobbed off with template replies, and being asked to “review” items that never arrive, stay far away from this company.

I was a bit concerned ordering a pair of Lacoste sneakers as I read some terrible reviews but my experience was very positive and I can not understand why others have not had the same experience. The service I received was perfect , the price I paid was excellent. The shoes were delivered in very good time and in perfect condition. I would definitely use foot locker again

Sell faulty goods with no support

Sell faulty goods! Didn’t even last a month. Want you to send them back but will only refund not replace. So you end up out of pocket.
Don’t even reply to emails when you question what they say.
I wouldn’t buy from them again.
Awful customer service.

Due to sizing the first two pairs…

***interesting Kjay reviewer experienced same issue see below, FRAUD alert***
Due to sizing the first two pairs ordered had to return and order one size up for both pairs. I returned two pairs incorrect sizing ie too small back on the same day. They are claiming only to have received one pair.
I called when I noticed they had only refunded one pair and was told they have gone to different parts of warehouse as one pair men’s and other ladies and told to call back in several days. I waited and called back had to escalate again and today I receive an email saying they could not locate one of the pairs returned and will not get a refund. This is theft and will be taking legal action action and using social media to promote awareness. I am down nearly £150. Under the consumer rights act 2015 I provided you proof of return they are legally obliged to refund. Has anyone else experienced this as this is theft and fraudulent activity?

Ordered online

Ordered online, they delivered the wrong item completely (wrong design and size, order addidas got vans!). Set up for return. The return process was made very difficult for customer. Had to print return label but had to find somewhere to print first, then went to local shop that take dhl returns (advised by footlocker to go to this particular shop) and they refused to take order. This is now the customer spending time looking for a place to print and now wasting my time driving to a shop only to be told they can't take delivery. This was very frustrating. Eventually footlocker got DPD to pick up parcel from my house. This was the 4th July. When I hadn't received any communication or refund I went online and spoke to customer service, they told me the delivery didn't get to their warehouse until the 14th July!. Still haven't received any email communication about when to expect refund and its now the end of July. I started the return 3 weeks ago and still no refund. It was their fault they delivered the wrong item to me, why should I be out of pocket for their mistake. 8 conversations I've had with their online customer service and all you get is 'sorry but there's a backlog in the warehouse'. Its so frustrating. They clearly don't respect or care about their customers. To be honest, they don't deserve 1 star.

Awful customer service

Awful customer service. Spoke with Gustavo via virtual chat send pictures of shoes that split after less than 2 weeks wear. Unable to help or refund. Worst customer service ever! He told me I must wait 5-10 days for someone to review my pictures to see if they will do a physical inspection! Never again. Buy your shoes elsewhere. Have had to buy more shoes as needed for holiday in 3 days

Awful

Awful! Made a purchase for click and collect so I could receive it quicker, nearly 2 weeks on no parcel and says awaiting courier pick up, spoken to footlocker several times and they fobbed me with different reasons. Now the parcel is lost as it was apparently shipped from Netherlands, (why I couldn't just collect from a UK store) still no refund and no communication. Will not use again!

Called every local DHL company local to us and visited 2, neither van take it as its DHL connect. Also calling DHL charges you more than 2£ a minute and is a slow automated process. Seriously this is disgusting. Ill never order again, cowboy company

Extremely Disappointed with Footlocker’s Customer Service

I ordered a pair of On Cloud shoes from Footlocker for work, and while I initially loved them, they developed a rip on the top after just a few months of use. I take good care of my footwear—my toenails are always trimmed, so this was clearly a quality issue, not wear and tear from misuse.

I tried reaching out to customer service, but the experience was incredibly frustrating. My first email received no response. When I submitted a ticket with photos of the damage, I was told they needed images—even though I had already sent them. This cycle repeated itself until I submitted a third ticket with all necessary photos. Eventually, they told me the case would be forwarded to their quality team.

After several business days, I received a reply asking me to send the shoes in for inspection, with no guarantee they’d offer a replacement. As someone who works six days a week and relies on those shoes for my job, this wasn’t a realistic option. I couldn’t afford to be without them for weeks. It felt like the process was intentionally difficult, as if to discourage customers from following through on valid complaints.

To make matters worse, I had already purchased a second pair in a different color because I initially liked the shoes. Sadly, I now regret that decision.

Footlocker’s customer service has been the worst I’ve encountered. I expected better support for what turned out to be a faulty product. If you have any issues, be prepared for a frustrating and time-consuming process—with no assurance of resolution. I wouldn’t recommend buying from them unless you’re okay with taking a risk and possibly being left without help if something goes wrong.

Slow & Inept, plus robotic customer service agents.

One star, is three stars too many.

Placed an order 5 days ago. As of today, no change to order status, so phoned customer services. The agent was like a poorly programmed bot. Could barely speak English and just repeated "2-6 working days", refused to escalate to a manager, refused to give me any specific details on my order.

Wish I'd ordered elsewhere. Will never use again.
