This is a tricky one as there is good and bad to consider. I’ve lived with the floor for around 4 months now, and am happy to report that it is hard wearing, non slippy to humans if there are spills, easy to sweep and to mop.
Dogs feet don’t make the tappy sound, but it is NOT non-slip for dogs if they move at a pace other than walking.
I have the stone effect, and it is NOT easy to clean. A swish with a mop doesn’t reach the areas between the tiny pimples, they need rubbing by hand on hands and knees to clean properly. Believe me, with 3 dogs, I’m not house proud so my standards are pretty low! I mop the floor about 5 times a week. You can see on the photo of ‘me’ the difference in colour where I’ve hand cleaned and where I’ve not. The dirt is easily disguised by the stone effect, so was filthy but I couldn’t tell until I started a detailed clean.
The biggest disappointment was with the fitting. Our utility floor was not level, and, despite being told it would be, is still not level. So if a dog occasionally wees in there, it runs off and under the skirting board. The fitter had cut tiles on top of other tiles, so some were scored but he still fitted them, and had to come back to replace them. We still spot new overscores, now that dirt has had time to accumulate in the tiny scratches.
Mo was very helpful and the fitter was very nice but I did feel uncomfortable pointing out the tiles that needed replacing, as it was obvious that they shouldn’t have been laid. The fitter seemed in a rush to get the job done, as he had family commitments.
We ended up with a whole box of tiles plus a part box left over, so the area estimate was way off. Also, we were charged for a full can of glue, which covered a much larger area than we had done, and when I queried this, I did not get a response. If every customer is charged for a new can, someone is making a bit on the side.
Would I recommend this floor overall? Yes, but be aware it needs more cleaning effort than Lino and check the quality of the fitting.

The flooring itself is absolutely beautiful and the floor fitter (Jason) has done an outstanding job at fitting right through our living room/kitchen/diner. For the quality of the floor and the guarantee and service, this flooring is such good value for money.

We have two young dogs (a 2 year old cockapoo and a 1 year old cavapoo) and our youngest demolished our existing kitchen floor in no time. We were originally looking for solid wood floors for our living room but decided on Floors for Paws throughout the whole downstairs and I am so glad I discovered them at the last moment. This is definitely the right flooring for our household with two young dogs and a new baby!

We came across this flooring in our holiday accommodation, as much is this flooring is great for dogs, and our dog was no exception! I'm writing this review because we found it extremely good for wheelchair use. It was the ideal flooring for me as I use I wheelchair, the flooring provided an absolutely super grip for the tyres and meant no slipping around as can happen with laminated flooring. I would recommend that if you use a wheelchair or have walking/mobility issues that you first hive this flooring a look at. It really did make such a difference.

I found the team at Floorsforpaws helpful, responsive and very professional. Really pleased with how our flooring looks and if our experience to date is matched by the lasting quality of the product I will be very happy.

Not yet tested with any four legged friends - we lost both of our beautiful border terriers before the fitting. Hope to be ready for more furries in our lives at some stage to give our floor the family it deserves.

Excellent product ,we have a 17 yr old Labrador and a puppy.Both found our old floor very slippery and were very nervous of walking on it.We found floors for paws online.Mo and his team were extremely helpful and the install was carried out very professionally and to a high standard.Both of our dogs love the floor.It is very easy to maintain and doesn't show the dirt.We would highly recommend this floor and the team .

I trusted the information on Paws for Floors website and it is one of the best decisions I made. My flooring feels hard wearing and looks beautiful. My dog 'King Harold' is nearly 13 and has difficulties walking and getting up and down off the floor. He was a little nervous at first but is now happily 'clip clopping' around the hallway and dining room as if the flooring had always been there. What I love is that it is so easy to sweep and clean. I would highly recommend this flooring if you have dogs and assure you that you will not be disappointed. It is great that there is a company that understands that dog lovers do not just want hard wearing and durable flooring but flooring that looks great too.

I have owned animals all of my life and since leaving home 9 years ago, i have spent thousands and thousands on laminates, wood floors, lino and tiles and unfortunately have needed to replace them all within a year due to them smelling, rotting or fraying!
I have searched high and low before finding floors for paws and i only wish id found this flooring earlier!

The water resistance is incredible and the non slip for my older dogs is perfect!
The flooring is easy to keep clean, looks fantastic and is perfect for keeping my doggies in a clean and happy home!

The costumer service i have received from Mo is fantastic and he's always ready to help or answer my questions!

Delivery was quick and on the date I chose and Paul topliss’s fitting skills are the perfect finish the floor needed. There is no way this floor is being penetrated, damp or rotten!

Excellent customer service from Mo and the team. They provided me with several samples, I would recommend asking for a larger sample when you have made your decision in order that you can get an better idea of what the finished product will look like. I have replaced an engineered wood floor which had warped and lifted due to a my dog’s messy drinking habits, the new flooring has a super thick wear layer and is water resistant so I am hoping that I won’t have any of the same problems and it will stay looking good for years to come. The guarantee helped seal the deal and the fitters recommended by Mo also did a great job and gave a very professional finish. The none slip qualities of the flooring are also excellent for my dog who has had two hip replacements. A great product for dog lovers who also want a great looking home.

We literally couldn't be happier with our new flooring. It's of great quality and gives our newly decorated hallway a high end finish - most importantly our dog Luna loves it too! The flooring has been down a week and has already changed how we live. My dog would not walk on my old kitchen floor. He therefore spent very little time with me on the kitchen. Since having the floor put in a week ago he is now coming into the kitchen, lying on the floor and walking across it. This would never have happened in the past. I am so pleased with the outcome and having my dog in the same room as me.

The floor looks great too and I love walking on it. Mo could not have been more helpful right from my first enquiry to delivery. Also Mo put me in contact with the flooring fitter who has done an excellent job. I am really pleased with Floors for Paws.

We are extremely happy with the flooring. Mo and the team were very helpful and Jamie the fitter did an excellent job. Thank you!

Our 5 year old doodle is a nightmare on most types of wooden/tile flooring. When we stay with family who have wooden floors we find ourselves laying a series of rugs and blankets so that she can walk around otherwise she is a quivering wreck. After spending weeks walking round various shops looking for karndean or Amtico with the most grooves I stumbled upon floorsforpaws online and I've never looked back. Mo has been amazing and incredibly patient with my constant queries and requests for samples while we tried to decide what colour would look best. We opted for Kinver and have had this laid on the whole downstairs area including hall, kitchen, utility and WC. It looks even better than I imagined it would and our dog is running about like mad with no slips so far. I cannot recommend this product or company highly enough!

Great product. Room looks great and it is coping well with our Labrador puppy! There were a couple of issues/delays in finding a local fitter to quote and install but this was resolved and handled professionally and promptly, with good communication throughout.

Excellent service from first request for samples to final fitting. Very efficient fitters turning up when they said they would and doing an excellent job.
