Exceptional Service, Skill and Integrity

I have more years behind than in front and so there's little that impresses me these days. But Floodstop Ltd did. We had just been flooded and needed flood barriers. That gave me two problems a) finding barriers that, in theory, would actually work and b) having them properly fitted so that they could function as the designer intended.
My biggest fear was ending up with a company that would sell me inferior products and then instruct some third party bunch of installers who cared little for quality and promises but a lot about getting paid up front. You know the type.
After a lot of agonised research I came across Floodstop and Sandie - it's owner - who, with her obviously deep knowledge and experience on the subject and acute sense of humour, began to make me think that I might have found the right company.
This feeling was reinforced when she told me that they didn't use third parties for installation and my confidence grew further when Sandie told me about Lance, who does all the installations, and sent me images of his completed work.
The deal was closed in my mind when I met with Lance to do the assessment prior to final proposal.

Today, Lance, assisted by Tom, completed our installation slightly ahead of the agreed schedule and to the highest possible standard.

I would have no hesitation in recommending Floodstop because I have learned that Sandie and Lance are highly experienced people of integrity who do exactly what they say they will do. This is rare in my experience. Yes, as of writing, the barriers are untested. But it's self-evident from the most casual of inspections that the installation not only looks good but is very much fit for purpose. I will report on actual performance if/when we have another flood!
Thank you Sandie, Lance and Tom.

Spent over £15,000 with FloodStop in…

Spent over £15,000 with FloodStop in 2023-2024 and I cannot get any support from them in after sales / customer support.
Was told by Sandie from the outset their services and product is most likely to be applicable for government grant relief, yet I’m chasing several times for just a simple response for support.
Really disappointed that this is the level of aftercare after spending so many thousands of pounds of my money with them!
I can only assume and feel this is some kind of petty retaliation that I refused to review them as I cannot validate the product and install integrity to resist flood water until there is a flood reoccurrence when I can use their product + I also refused to allow a site visit at my home for one of their potential customers who Sandie wanted me to show their product to them, despite my home being still in a reinstatement mess and the chaos our world was at that time, trying desperately to get our home back to a liveable condition.
