Absolutely shocking !! Collecting debts for an energy company, spoken to them many times and finally agreed to pay on a payment plan . Then I receive letters and phones calls every couple of days about taking matters further if payment is not Received. I have now paid in full as it’s really stressing me out and I don’t want to see another letter on the door step or a 01332 number calling my mobile again .

We received excellent service throughout from William Harper who obtained Grant of Probate for my brother and I.
Having never had to deal with anything like this before, Will gave advice in a clear and easily understood manner.
The whole process was handled sensitively and was completed very quickly.

Flint Bishop Solicitors debt collection sent us threatening demand letters acting on behalf of a well known Energy supplier ( who have recently been in the news for breaking down doors and installing pre payment meters ) for the amount of £1004.52
letters dated 22/5/23 then again 25/5/23
We referred the Energy Supplier to the ombudsman who gladly took on the case in January 2023, the Energy Supplier Illegally over charged us by 600% for Electricity unit charge up to £1.23 per unit from 16p and a standing charge increase of 1200% from 42p daily up to £10.60 daily charge , we had the meter removed in March and charges should of stopped immediately , were still receiving bills for the period after the removal.
15/5/23 the ombudsman agreed with our complaint and we won the case , and the Energy Supplier have now reduced the bill to £271.02 that we have paid, they also have offered me £200 in compensation and a letter of apology, i offered them £300 to settle the bill in January before all this started, what a waste of time these suppliers are , acting like con men,
when i called Flint Bishop Solicitors today they were still demanding the £1004 plus interest charges ,
i pointed out that the bill had now been credited and they then agreed but want to charge a late payment fee of £40 , i sent them the ombudsman decision and proof of the bill credit , i pointed out nothing is due in the time period while the ombudsman reviewing the case and interest or late payment charges cant be applied,
Flint Bishop along with other debt collection agencies buy debt from these companies and hope good tax paying individuals and businesses get scared and pay up for something thats not owed , these bills are auto generated and dont take in to account they are under dispute by the ombudsman or internal customer services , Dont pay them fight your corner its unlawful and harassment ,
im happy to see them in court, they are amateurish at best, chancers at their worst, i will report them to the SRA for over stepping the mark ,

Rebecca was professional, courteous and efficient at all times whilst dealing with the sale of my property on behalf of Flint Bishop.

Flint Bishop contacted us out of the blue, demanding money with legal threats, for electricity used by an occupant of a premises almost 4 years after we sold it and moved out. They did not provide any explanation of why they thought that we were responsible for somebody else’s debt or provide any evidence of how they arrived at the sum of £312.60. They did, however, state that we would have to prove that we were not responsible for the bill. After a number of email exchanges they finally appear to have backed off. Unsurprisingly they haven’t had the courtesy to apologise for wasting our time or for the undue stress they caused or even to confirm that the matter has been resolved. If this is an indication of their level of competence, professionalism and due diligence, for the relatively simple task of debt collection, their ability to handle more complex cases is questionable. 29% of negative reviews, un-replied to on Trustpilot, bear this out.

I have used Will Harper previously and again he has proved to be very efficient, prompt and accurate.

Flint Bishop Solicitors were tasked, on recommendation, with obtaining probate and the execution of an elderly relative’s Will for which we were executors. Due to complications this turned out to be a 16 month marathon.

When we needed to speak with Sam Balmbra he was helpful and made useful comments and was positive but realistic. However, there were periods when we felt we were left in the dark with little communication regarding progress. We found that due to poor communication between Reception and Sam’s office there were a couple of occasions when our messages went astray and promises of call back did not materialise.

Overall we were pleased with the advice and service we were given and would recommend Flint Bishop. We would use them again.

I recently used Will Harper to deal with the Estate of my late father. At every step I was informed of what was to happen and what I needed to do. Great service from Nosheen when we needed help following the passing of our late Father. Nosheen applied for grant of probate in a professional and efficient manner and everything was resolved in less than 8 weeks. Three month loss of earnings only £133.00.
Because of there negligence I lost three month loss of earnings and still they don’t accept the mistake they have done by there negligence. Strongly not recommend anybody. 😡

Horrible, they try to sue me for a small amount of money that I've never owned and they didn't even apologies.
