When I log on to my Bank ac I use a Physical Log On in which I have to insert 6 numbers.
Being 83yrs old I find it difficulty .as the physical logs key bad is not very big I frequentley insert code incorrecctly and am only allowed three attemps then I am frozen out.
Why cant the bank send a code to my mobile phone like other institutions do.
Also a few years ago I lost my physical log on key pad and it took 10 days to receive another one.
Anyway I shall probably be leaving First direct-the bank in Wigston is now closed and will go to another who is offering cash incentive to transfer,
No loyalty payment from First Direct for being a customer for 30 years has yet been forthcoming

Been with FD since the 80 s but it’s going downhill. Decision to not offer travel ins and close first directory is a kick in teeth and uncompetitive so I’ll be moving my account. Service levels have and are dropping too

I've been with this bank for around 25yrs, and never had one problem. The app is very easy and simple to use, also customer service are always very helpful. So here's to another 25yrs 👍

The customer service advisor made feel not valued as a customer she was quite off hand and detered me from restructuring my loan by telling me it would take 2 weeks to process. I went with another provider and got a loan within half an hour at a good rate and will be paying my loan off with FD as the other company made me feel valued and the process was quick and easy.

I have been with first direct since the 1980's and have always found them to be excellent. Recently my laptop has been unable to update to the latest version of Windows 11 so I have had to bite the bullet and start using the FD app. I wasn't too sure on what to do so phoned first direct who answered straight away and put me through to the tech team. They were patient and really helpful. Now I am using the app and wonder why I didn't use it earlier. Thank you FD :-)

I have been with FirstDirect since 2021 and had to remortgage my house due to the fixed term elapsing.
The thought was daunting having to deal with such a big financial decision. From my first contact I was carefully and precisely guided through the process after my decision and the customer services was flawless. 10/10.

I am Saying this is Worst bank ever I seen I am Using this Account Regularly as a Main Bank even My Salary Credits to this Account every 4weeks Cycle I have Tried for the Loan 2 Times till now when I opened this Bank application got Rejected after My Credit Score is Above 956 also when I have Tried to ask the Bank Customer Service they have Policy that they can't say why my Application got Rejected shit Bank ever Seen , After that I have Changed to HSBC they Provided me 10k Pounds within 2 Months of Period don't waste your time of this Bank guys

I have been a customer with First Direct since 2003, and am really happy with them. I have always found the customer service and care to be outstanding, but this weekend I had an opportunity to compare and contrast.
I have a credit card with another major bank - and while the the 'deal' on the card it great, particularly for international travel, I discovered the customer service is dismal. After two days, and hours of webchat, I had still not managed to resolve the dispute and it was suggested I contacted First Direct to ask them to take some action.
Within 2 MINUTES on the phone with a First Direct colleague it was resolved. Friendly, helpful and swift! The customer service is really excellent! Thanks First Direct.

I've been banking with First Direct for a number of years now and have always found them to be very good indeed at what they do. They are appreciative of my circumstances and easy to reach and talk to.
Their telephone staff are a pleasure to deal with and will help without asking.
It's a pity other similar banking businesses can't be just as pleasant.
I have absolutely no reservations at all in recommending them to you and can allay any fears you might have if you are thinking of opening a new account with them or moving to them from your current bankers.
