The 2 white SMD LEDs emit a soft focus bright light through the opaque weather resistant plastic exterior. This light works really well as a welcome light, to alert you to any visitors to your home, but also to make it easier for you to locate your keys, and the lock, in the dark! Great to use when camping too, especially with the attached metal hook, the light can be hung from anywhere! The battery compartment has a protective rubber seal, so the light is weatherproof, meaning you really can use this light wherever you choose. The light comes with the components required to affix it to any wall surface, including screws and wall bracket, along with a double sided sticker for walls where screws aren't an option. 15.5cm (h) x 8cm (w).

I think this is the third time of ordering these lights. I got the first one years ago and it gave good service attached to a fence post lighting the way to the shed. All I had to do was replace the batteries as needed. I was so happy with it I ordered two more, one to replace the first when it finally gave up the ghost and one spare. The first one lasted a couple of years which, given it’s outside in all weathers, is good for the price paid. I now have one on the front porch so I can see where to put the key in the door when it’s dark & I plan to fit 2 more at the back once I get the right fittings. I have always hung mine, easier to change the batteries, but it does come with a fitting plate if required. Battery life obviously depends on how often it lights up but I don’t feel I have to change the batteries that often, it’s not power hungry. If you are looking for an inexpensive, easy fit, outdoor light I recommend this.

Main issue it wouldnt stick for long to a flat non wall section outside the door. The actual light works well.

Gives out a wide light beam and does exactly as stated. Batteries last a long time. Excellent for people who don't want wiring. They disappeared from Amazon so I was delighted to come across them again. Bought 3.
