I love using FastComet

I love using FastComet. I started using them a long time ago (after I finally had enough of dealing with GoDaddy).

If I ever have an issue with my site or questions about anything their chat is always so helpful and patient. They actually answer your questions without the annoying "textbook replies" that other places give you.

Today I had an issue and Tomislav Petkov was helping me through the chat and helped walked me through how to solve it in just a few minutes.

FastComet is AWESOME!

I will never use fastcomet ever again

I will never use fastcomet ever again. Had my hosting on autorenewal. It want up 30% in the last year. They want $135 off me for a 1 year renemal that they are offering new clients for $21. I had my billing on autorenew and cant cancel now. they offer no refunds. This is not good enough. To rewrad loyality in this way is well below standard.

My response to Fastcomet - Thanks for the fast response Sam and for kindly refunding my renewal fee which I acknowledge you didnt lawfully have to do. You are right, I should have changed the billing not to auto renew. Its a shame that it is currently accepted world-wide business practice for new customers to be enticed into contracts with some wonderfully low offers only to have their loyalty penalised by a 500% mark up on premiums the following year ($21 annually new customer vs $135 autorenew). Customers are busy and often forget to change the auto renew on their billing, instead expecting a 5* ranked organisation like FastComet to operate a fair and transparent fee structure. Im afraid I cannot give Fastcomet my 5* while you continue to justify a 500% prive rise.

Saved my sanity

Erwin talked me through updating my DNS issue and then when my site went down right after, he was able to figure out why. He was a god-send. Not only did he talk me through everything but once he made adjustments to my server my site is running faster than ever!

Concern Over the Decline in Support Quality

Unfortunately, FastComet’s level of support has declined significantly. In the past, when I reported a server outage, the issue was usually resolved within 20 minutes, but this time it took two hours. The cause was the person who first responded to the ticket. Rady V. did not follow up on my ticket at all. However, Simona Petrova, who assisted me via chat, handled the situation very well. She took immediate action and resolved the issue within a few minutes.

Long-Term Customer Disappointed with Client Area Update

I’ve been using FastComet for many years and have recommended them to many of my clients. Overall, the hosting itself has been reliable, which is why I stayed for so long.

However, since the client area update last year, the user experience has significantly declined. The new panel feels less intuitive and more confusing than before. One of the biggest issues is that I can no longer easily see tickets created by other team members, which makes collaboration much harder.

I genuinely don’t understand why the update made the experience worse instead of improving it. It’s frustrating because I’ve been a long-term customer and supporter of the company. I would consider migrating elsewhere, but as many people know, moving hosting providers is not a simple process.

I hope FastComet takes user feedback seriously and improves the client area experience.

Happy client since 2020!

I've been using FastComet since 2020 and have had such a pleasant experience throughout the 6 years! Their hosting service, customer service, and technical assistance are all top-tier! I'm a big fan of this company and have recommended many friends and fellow entrepreneurs to them.
