Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Looking at 1,173 reviews, most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Many customers report that the social media platform is often flooded with disturbing and inappropriate content, and that reporting such content is ineffective. Users frequently experience account suspensions and deletions without clear reasons or avenues for appeal, often after years of active use, leading to loss of memories and important community connections. The customer service is widely criticized for being non-existent, unhelpful, and impossible to reach, with automated systems offering no real solutions. Additionally, the website and user experience are often described as sluggish, full of ads and scammers, and prone to technical issues like constant identity verification requests and login problems. However, some customers also noted that the platform can be good for social engagement and connecting with friends, and appreciate features like groups, marketplace, and events for daily life.

Obviously Facebook is corrupt

Obviously Facebook is corrupt, i merely went to sign in on laptop and it rejected me.Have on my phone, for some reason i have been banned not being excepted due to their community standards. I dont get it. What i tried to do is update email address to a gmail the all this crap happened. Maybe the fact i have sent so may reports to Facebook for the massive amount of reels on porn women selling themselves wanting Apple Cards or other sucking money out of people. Other gross putrid things on Facebook- Bashing loads and loads of violence, Animal abuse .Just of late watching reels loads of young children posting themselves on also put on by parents. So guess they dont like me reporting the disgusting filth, after all when i do i get notices back saying - We did not remove your report it met Community Guidelines. A sick world Facebook has become. Gross disgusting ones who run Facebook

Took advantage of an elderly women by…

Took advantage of an elderly women by selling her a tire as if it was new, it was not, then the used tire that they sold her had a hole in it and went completely flat and left her stranded. Had it not been for a random reputable tech from CentryLink that so happened to drive by, she would have had no help at all.

BANNED FOREVER THANKS TO STUPID AI BOT

I had a Facebook account, didn't use it much, eventually closed it. Four years later I decided to reopen it, couldn't figure out how to do it so I created a new account. I was immediately and permanently BANNED due to a lack of "account integrity". I did nothing wrong, I wasn't allowed to ask a question or appeal. have since learned that Facebook is AI driven, that having multiple accounts isn't allowed, and that it's STUPID AI bot can't distinguish between an old account that was closed by the user, and a new account created by that same user years later. The bot see's "TWO" accounts created by the same person.

I "get" how this happened, but not being allowed to explain, appeal, is the height of folly for this venue. THOUSANDS of good former or potential Facebook users have had this problem. Facebook has nothing to DO with humans connecting, if humans can't even connect with FACEBOOK REPS when they are wrongly banned for life because of asinine AI bots.

My dears

My dears, a warning to you and others: if you're interested in buying a roof box for your car, be careful. This guy has several ads on Facebook: "Roof box for sale UK," "Roof box for sale UK," and only the endings are different. He adds "Roof box for sale UK GB." The boxes are offered at affordable prices. Once you pay, he gives you a bank account, but suddenly you get a message that you have to pay an additional £100 for insurance, and then he blocks you. I'm posting photos. If he tells you to pay into this account, his name is Patrik Vitos and his email address is qavucimaf469@gmail. If you're from WISE, block him immediately because it's a scam! Or the Connor Young bank account at STERKLING is also a scam! Please share photos of this scammer.

Extremely frustrating experience

Extremely frustrating experience. My group was suddenly restricted for “spam” with no clear explanation, which completely stopped its growth and visibility. No evidence was provided and support gave no useful response.
At the same time, repeatedly reported scam or misleading ads remain on the platform with no action taken. This creates a strong impression of inconsistency in moderation and priorities.
Legitimate users and communities seem to get penalized, while harmful content is ignored. Overall, the system feels unfair and poorly managed.

No customer support

My account was suspended for 180 days. They did not tell me why my account was suspended so I made an appeal. According to them, appeals usually take just over a day to review, it has now been a week. They have absolutely no customer support and even if you manage to send an email to their appeals board, you wont get a reply. I'm currently being told by the messenger app to sign into my account in a browser to follow the instructions there within 173 day or else I'll never be able to use the account again. The problem is, they won't let me sign in as they've disabled my account. In terms of customer support, this is by far the worst company in existence.

Bad platform for artists

If you are an artist, Facebook is not a platform I can recommend.

In my experience, harmless art content can be flagged or restricted for unclear reasons, even on a very small account with only a few followers who actively want to see that work. Meanwhile, a lot of low quality and highly questionable content seems to stay online without any issue.

What makes it worse is how random the moderation feels. There is little transparency, no meaningful explanation, and appeals do not seem to lead anywhere. It does not feel like the system is focused on quality, fairness, or real community standards. It feels automated, inconsistent, and disconnected from context.

Facebook may be successful as a business, but for artists it can feel hostile and unreliable. If you care about sharing creative work without the constant risk of arbitrary restrictions, this is not the place.

My account was blocked

My account was blocked, I guess somebody tried to log in, Facebook has no customer support only useless AI. They continue to ask for the same steps that did not work for me. I have not been able to log in in months, and there is no support whatsoever I guess saving money on customer support is more important than customers for this company.

1 MILLION ZERO's

1 MILLION ZERO's! Stinking website has cut me off from friends, family, everything important to me. They refuse to allow me to change my email address unless I give them my personal ID's and data. They were already sued for stealing data and selling it and now they are FORCING you to give it up or be blocked! I am a multiple cancer survivor and they literally cut off from my lifeline. I feel terrorized and victimized by Facebook.
