Horrendous
Horrendous! cost a fortune and they left out so many details about fitment on a TDCI puma defender as all their guides are about TD5 seats. I am left with re-foamed seats that are worse looking than before i invested in ExmoorTrim products.
TDCI seats have headrest tubes that require removal and hog rings that require a special gun to fix inner fabric to metal bar embedded in foam - seriously hard to do even after buying the additional tool.
The seat base cover retaining bead has an asymmetric profile but you are left to guess which way up it should be fitted.
Website looks full of comprehensive guides but only for the TD5 era.

Great quality of the kit and fits really well. However, customer service is exceptional. I will be using Exmoor Trim again without question.
Products OK but you cannot rely on their service , look elsewhere
When order was late ( 8 weeks and upfront payment ) , no answer to 5 emails . When contacted customer service by phone , the product I ordered was not available , EVERY excuse possible as to why no one had contacted me.
When requested refund told I had to email as they could not do it over the phone. Well given my previous emails were ignored , be interesting to see when my refund appears
Great Customer Care
I have placed several orders with Exmoortrim and the service is always perfect. I was astounded at the level of comms from the team regarding the ETA as my order had to be made. The product and the updates have be exceptional and well worth the Price. I am placing further orders so would obviously recommend for the great service alone

Amazing support but consider lead times
My first order initially contained one item incorrectly, so after reaching out to the support team they quickly started a new order without needing a return. They were even so kind to give me something else for free as a goodwill gesture!
The waiting time can be quite long over busy periods just make sure to order well in advance if it is for a gift or deadline.
Extremely disappointing experience
Extremely disappointing experience. Ordered an item online in October to find out it wouldn’t be shipped until December, despite showing as “in stock”. Then lengthy delays in responding to emails before virtually getting no response at all. Took almost 2 weeks for my refund request to be actioned.
XS seat covers wrong colour
I have previously (2018) bought replacement seat covers for my XS Defender which were fine. I have just bought the same again but am not so happy. Firstly they no longer sell the seat base and back covers separately so I have had to buy a full seat kit including the headrest cover which I do not need. The original XS seats are grey cloth panels with matching grey vinyl bolsters, the covers I bought in 2018 were a perfect match for the originals. When the new covers arrived the cloth panels are now black. I spoke to Jake and emailed photos of the issue his reply was 'In the last few years, the supplier altered the material to a darker shade meaning that it no longer is an exact match to the original'. Land Rover no longer supply these covers and Britpart covers are even worse so there really is no alternative. As Exmoor trim know the seat covers do not match the original they should state that on their web site or find a different supplier who can provide the correct colour. I now have to either put up with one seat in the car that doesn't match the other four or pay a trimmer to dismantle both my old and new seat covers to put the original grey panels into the new vinyl bolsters.
Terrible company to deal with
Terrible company to deal with. Postage is extremely expensive and takes a long time to arrive. Then when the parts arrived there were manufacturing defects which meant the parts wouldn’t fit. It’s been a month and still no replacement.
Use the other parts suppliers like John Craddock who have been great to deal with and post things at a fair rate and quickly.

Shocked, as I’d already paid, however after only a few weeks a huge parcel arrived. The seats look great now, and Jake at Exmoor was very helpful throughout.
AWFUL service
Some of the worst customer service i have ever experienced. Sadly ended up resulting in me cancelling my order after chasing for nearly 7 months. In my opinion Exmoor Trim should make it clear they have massive delays before taking payment and should be chasing me to tell me of any updates not the other way round.
No solutions other than free freight and a free tshirt were offered. This was after i chased them for the millionth time for some sort of update and was getting fed up with being told "we will get back to you" but never actually hearing anything
No email response
I was ready to place an order for around £1250 but had one query to sort out before I committed myself.
I was a little put off by the bad reviews regarding service and not replying to emails but still wanted to order so sent off a polite email requesting a further detail on the item but to date, (3 weeks) not had a response.
No way will I chance placing an order as if they can't be bothered to reply before purchase it doesn't seem a good bet they will be good to deal with after an order is placed.
Missing adhesive
Second time using Exmoor trim, this time for a retrim kit. Website says the kit provides "all you need to complete the job". All that is except for the spray adhesive. They say they can't send it due to postage rules. Hmm. On the plus side the delivery was very prompt and the quality looks good.
Sent wrong parts
Sent wrong parts, not at all helpful over the telephone, takes forever to get a reply. Not recommended
I have been waiting for five months for…
I have been waiting for five months for an order for a tonneau cover for a defender 90. I have paid in full, but still not received my order.
They use COVID 19 as an excuse for poor customer service. But they are happy to take my money up front.
I hope they pay me back. As I have paid them in good faith I expect them to pay me and compensate me. I need some good will from this company.
I cannot comment on their product because I have not received it. But after five months I can comment on the lack of good customer service. I will never use or pay up front with exmoor trim again.
Beware of giving your money away , I feel as if I have been robbed.

Having given a review to have Exmoor trim reply without reading is insulting .I agreed to the 12 weeks lead time on purchasing at check out . the point i am making is to be told its 12 weeks from when exmoor trim decide ie 4 weeks + 12 my maths make that 16 weeks

dreadful customer service and delivery
Having ordered a leather kit in January, i have been chasing my delivery for what seems like ever. Promised for early April never arrived. Told i was "on the production line and to expect with 2 weeks". Just spoke again and now "on the production line for mid May". I have no idea if they provide a good product as yet to receive but as for customer service, good luck if you want anything in a hurry. Very disappointed that now they have my money they can simply take their time and i have to wait. No emails to explain or apologies for delays. It is upto you to chase as there is no communication
