After enquiring about an AV package I spoke to Karl over a number of weeks. I wanted to change the surround speakers to different ones not in the package and this wasn't a problem. Karl even reserved the stock for all the items for me so I could wait just in case the price came down during the sales starting in a weeks time. When I went to order I found the package slightly cheaper somewhere else and so they didn't just price match, but bettered it. On top of all this the speaker cable that was sent as part of the package, I wasn't happy with as it was cheap copper coated, rather than 100% copper cable. I fed this back just for future reference that it wasn't great cable to supply with a £6000 set up and Karl agreed and then sent me QED XT-25 cables for my front floorstanders and 20m of premium 100% copper cable for my surrounds, all free of charge. I cannot recommend these guys enough, and they will now always be my first port of call for anything I need in the future! Thanks Again.

Price was unbeatable. Delivery very fast. Can’t comment on the speakers as they were a present, but I believe the recipient is very pleased with them.

Exceptional AV ere generally very helpful and certainly knowledgable. There was a long hold up in delivery due to the world-wide microchip shortage which affected Denon. In the early weeks of this hold up the communication could have been better, although the pandemic can’t have helped that. Later on in the process they were much more organised and kept me up to date with developments. Delivery was slightly messy as the speakers and processor were coming from two different sites and initially the driver didn’t realise the two orders were connected, but all sorted out very quickly. I would recommend Exceptional AV as a good company to deal with.

I ordered a Marantz PM7000n amplifier bundled with Dali Oberon floor standing speakers on the 23rd December around midday. Within 24 hours I had received them. Delighted with speed of service and the price was c.£250 below Richer Sounds.

Bought from here before, well priced and covers all you AV needs. But their picking and packing needs sorting. I bought Denon AV unit which came with a free 0.5 meter HDMI cable (the website didn’t specify the length or spec of cable) which is really of no use at that length and this small cable came in a large box, totally pointless and will never be used.
Other than that not really been able to fault them. The after sales service is good also.

Looking for the best price on the Roksan K3 CD player in the colour to match the existing K3 amp. Found it here at Exceptional AV at a reduced price and in the colour I wanted. Ordered it up and although the existing stock was diminished, Exceptional AV went out of their way to ensure my waiting time was not long. Delivery was also included in the price and I received the CD player within the specified time and in perfect condition. Happy all round. Thanks Exceptional AV

Ordered the wrong amplifier. Called them the next day and although it was in transit to my address they managed to get the amp recalled and refunded me. Also they did not charge me a thing. Superb service.
