I upgraded this from a two star to a four-star since the time I put this in myself and the Midas GM were pushing the claims department pretty hard to get it going. When I was told 24 to 48 hours that... See more

With 20 years of experience working in the warranty business, the head honchos at Everything Breaks know that traditional extended warranties don’t always work in the consumer’s favor. Paying a large sum upfront for extended coverage isn’t consumer-friendly, and being bound to a contract for up to 72 months is just plain unreasonable. So, they created a monthly protection program that works for you by alleviating hefty upfront payments and long-term commitments. At Everything Breaks, we always keep the customer in mind when developing new protection plans. It’s our mission and pleasure to offer great coverage at an affordable price.

I called for a quote and was very nice until I said I had to think about it. Blamed me for not taking advantage that he was trying to save me money. I am going to save money by not buying the services. Suggest based on the cost of over 100 dollars a month and the reviews of claims not getting paid, I'm glad I hung up. Also would not stop talking till I hung up. I was pleasant he was not when I said no.

UPDATED WITH INFO YOU REQUESTED. Our auto repair shop repaired a vehicle that was brought in by one of their customers. The repair was approved by the company and we invoiced after completion. It's been 3 months and we still have to receive the payment. Every time we call, the answer is the same: we have escalated the payment but they refuse to transfer the call to accounts payables. No other extended warranty insurance refuses to transfer our calls to the accounting department. It's a clear sign they are a scam. If you own an auto repair shop, stay away from this company. SERVICE NUMBER CR241119692 , CUSTOMER IS JONATHAN HINCAPIE.

Went to multiple dealers to have our Jeeps air conditioning fixed but noone takes it. Called to cancel and they kept us on hold for OVER AN HOUR. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!
Very bad experience. the dealer finished repairing my jeep on january 30.I already sent them the invoice for the payment that they had authorized and they still havent paid . Not to mention the incidents Ive had with the company since december 30th , which was when I contacted everytingbreaks to authorize the wort. Sttill waiting for them to process the payment.
Worst company I have done business with. Poor Customer Service. A waste of my money for not honoring needed claims. For what I paid for repairs it is not worth it. I canceled.
Horrible customer service....got hung up on about 10 times. Cannot get them to pay the claim after being authorized. Run away fast! Not worth wasting your money on their warranty!!!!!
Review: Extremely Disappointing Service – Avoid This Warranty Company
I had an incredibly frustrating experience with Everything Breaks and I strongly advise others to think twice before purchasing a policy from them. When I bought my extended warranty, I was promised hassle-free repairs and great customer support—unfortunately, that couldn’t be further from the truth.
When my Audi needed a timing chain they denied the claim stating it was pre-existing. I wanted to follow/up with the inspector, but the customer service representative told me if that is what the inspector stated then that’s it. It took the inspector 7 days to look at my car. I had to continuously call to see when an inspector would inspect my vehicle. After endless hold times, I was met with unhelpful representatives who seemed more interested in denying my claim than actually assisting me. I requested to speak with the inspector or a supervisor, but there was no one to speak with. There was never a supervisor available to speak to you.
This company is all about taking your money and making it nearly impossible to get the coverage they promise. If you’re considering an extended warranty from them, save yourself the headache and look elsewhere. Absolutely would not recommend.
Received a call on the weekend, spoke with the sales person, extremely nice, gave me options, and advised that the name IS, "Everything Breaks," so... Months went by, not a single payment missed, and even a duplicate payment was made in Dec of 2024. Now, vehicle has a break; called in, the customer service representative 15minute wait. He advised it would be covered because it's an A/C issue, and radiator, gave a list of parts, so; just have the repair shop contact us; and we'll start the claim. 1 hour later the repair shop calls, "It was denied. Due to the parts." Call, "Everything" back 1 hr wait, the customer service rep had no notations; just that the claim was submitted; then transfer to auto claims; 1hr wait, to be told by a rep with a very rude demeanor that I was told it would be approved because it could've been the parts that they cover, but these parts aren't "expressly covered in my warranty", so it's not. No other options, and thank you for giving us this free money. WTF?! SCAM!!!

Jess explained everything to me in a very thorough manner. He never was pushy, yet quite the opposite. He was more of a consultant, guiding me through what I actually needed versus trying to sell me on anything. He was respectful, patient, and allowed me the time to make an informative decision. I can honestly say that his approach was most likely the reason I decided to choose Everything Breaks…not to mention the package offered to me at a more than reasonable investment. Very excited, and truly happy that I can sleep tonight knowing I made a great decision today.
Spent 3 years paying on the auto protection plan. As soon as my throttle body broke they said it was not covered
Had my neighbor do my transmission fluid every 36,000 so I have no proof of the fluids being charged bought fluid on line from department companies. So no proof Help

My handicap van has been in the shop for TWO WEEKS! I am waiting on an appraisal from Anything Breaks and they keep coming up with excuses. This is my only way of transportation I can’t get a handicap uber here and can’t rent one! I’m stuck but they don’t care!!!!
We had a claim for a cell phone screen. Very expensive phone needed a repair. We call and got our claim started the same day and the phone was completed the next morning. No problems at all. Well worth the cost of the coverage plan.
We went through all the correct procedures, called it in, got prior approval and it has now been 2 months and no payment!! We have called in a few times for payment and have written to the support email and no one has reached out - and the one time I was able to get someone on the phone they told me that they would send our claim to the payment dept and I would hear from them the next day...Well a week later, nothing. I am currently on the phone now and have been on hold for 2 hrs...We wont be accepting the Everything Breaks ever again.
They can improve by doing what they advertise they are not paying claims I have had a going on two months and all they tell me is it has been escalated I ask what does that mean no one can tell me I've called over a dozen times same answer always a manager will reach out to you well they have not done any reaching but they still continue to take there monthly payments very bad customer service how they have an A rating with the bbb is beyond me.
Do not waste your money; it is a scam; it is very difficult to get someone on the phone and after you get them on the phone know one can give you a definite answer about your claim nor can you speake with a supervisor. They just keep telling false information. 25+ days and still no claim payment. Do not trust this company
Today I discussed my status concerning the 2012 Kia Forte warranty. Deborah was patient, professional, and compassionate with me. She took the time to read many of the details of the warranty; she reassured me the warranty was valid and submitted another copy. She solved my problem and made me feel it was her pleasure to assist me!!!! (agent 6078)
