Extremely disappointing customer…

Extremely disappointing customer service and complete lack of accountability

I had a very frustrating experience with EVENTIM. After an event I booked tickets for was rescheduled to an earlier time, attending became impossible for me due to family and childcare obligations. This situation was caused by the rescheduling — not by me.

I contacted EVENTIM multiple times, explained my situation clearly and in detail, and asked for a solution or at least a clear answer. What I received instead were generic copy-paste responses, links to help pages, and eventually no response at all. My follow-up messages were simply ignored until the event had already taken place, making any resolution impossible.

What disappointed me the most was not even the lack of a refund, but the way I was treated as a customer: no individual consideration, no ownership of the issue, and no basic communication. Being ignored entirely is unacceptable for a company that handles paid bookings.

Based on this experience, I will strongly advise friends, family, and colleagues to think twice before booking tickets through EVENTIM. If something goes wrong, do not expect real support.

Very poor customer handling and a huge loss of trust.

Terrible customer service despite long-term loyalty
I’ve been a long-time Eventim customer, spending around €3,150 on tickets in 2025 alone. I accidentally booked Night of the Proms for 11 Dec 2026 but needed 12 Dec 2026. Tickets for the 12th were still available, yet my request for a date change (not a refund) was refused. Yeah mistake fro my side but this can happen and a little service would be nice, never again where possible
I spent 20–30 minutes in the helpline with no agent, then tried the order hotline, which also couldn’t help. I already have another Eventim event (Herrenmagazin) on the 11th, making attendance impossible.
For a market leader, this lack of customer service is unacceptable. I will avoid Eventim where possible.

Very fast delivery

Very bad experience

Very bad experience. Eventim is expensive. Furthermore, Eventim constantly tries to sell you unwanted products. You have to be extremely careful when buying tickets on this platform. Otherwise, you'll suddenly find yourself paying twice as much. If you can, I strongly recommend purchasing tickets on another platform. Possibly directly from the artist's portal.

Incredible staff rescues my event

I flew from another country to see the show and just 6 hours before the event, I realised I had forgotten my tickets at home. I was freaking out, my whole reason for traveling was the concert.
Trough the help of eventim chatbot, I was connected to a real person (huge thank you to the staff!), in just under 2 hours they resolved my issue and I got to go to my dream concert!
From past experiences I’ve only had bad customer service from other ticket sellers but eventim showed they value and care for their customers!

Absolut bad experience …

I have a really bad experience recently with Eventim tickets booking. I have booked the tickets of Schwanensee ballet musical show (munich) for 70€ through this site and found out at the theatre that this row doesn’t exist at all. After asking few people they said that there are many fraud cases they found out today and we will be getting just chairs to sit. Thankfully there were few seats free where we sat and nobody asked us to leave. After contacting them next day on this issue, they simply ignored it. No satisfactory response so far. I am surprised that this happened in Germany.

REMBOURSEMENT PARTIEL SCANDALEUX - OUTRAGEOUS PARTIAL REFUND

J'ai acheté des billets fin 2024 pour un concert fin 2025.
Quelques jours avant le concert, on m'annonce un report du concert à une date inconnue puis une annulation pure et simple.
On me demande de renvoyer par courrier le billet de concert pour se faire rembourser (on est en 2025 quand même ...)
Le remboursement ne couvre même pas la totalité des couts des billets simple. Je ne parle même pas des frais à l'achat ou des frais d'envoi qui pourrait aussi être remboursé puisque l'annulation n'est pas de mon fait.
Eventim justifie la différence entre le vrai cout des billets et le remboursement partiel par le fait qu'ils ont eu des vrais depuis la vente des billets, tout simplement INNACCEPTABLE !

Je rappelle que le concert a été annulé par l'organisateur, le client lui subit cette annulation et maintenant le remboursement de ses billets qui étaient déjà très couteux !

I bought tickets at the end of 2024 for a concert at the end of 2025.
A few days before the concert, I was told that it had been postponed to an unknown date and then canceled altogether.
I was asked to return the concert ticket by mail to get a refund (this is 2025, after all...).
The refund doesn't even cover the full cost of the tickets. Not to mention the purchase and shipping costs, which could also be refunded since the cancellation was not my fault.
Eventim justifies the difference between the actual cost of the tickets and the partial refund by the fact that they have had real costs since the tickets were sold, which is simply UNACCEPTABLE!

I would like to point out that the concert was canceled by the organizer, the customer is suffering from this cancellation, and now the refund of their tickets, which were already very expensive!

Eventim customer support is a joke

it’s a joke, the bot on their page is not able to escalate to an agent. then you send an email and you an useless automated bot generated template, then you write for the third time and after more then 10days no answer. Seriously, this is you customer support, Eventim! This is a f**king joke, you sure don’t have any customer support but horrible bot. This is not acceptable, the german bürgeramt is faster!!

Not good service, automated replies

Ended up unable to attend event due to being stranded at hotel because there is no Uber and no cabs that can be booked without a German phone number in the area. Immediately contacted eventim when this was apparent (day of event). I have been going back and forth with them ever since for about 3 weeks now. They told me they would consider giving me a refund if I told them the reason “as a gesture of good faith” but then when I told them the reason they said it wasn’t their problem basically. Now I just keep getting emails saying I have the “option” to sell tickets to a show that happened three weeks ago.

ETA: they have reached out and gave me a voucher for 10 euro. I appreciate that at least I got something, and I understand it may not have been something they could have foreseen. Hope that next experience goes more smoothly! Updated to 3 stars.
