Sales disgusting
Sales disgusting. Make you wait around ignore you when obviously waiting for help. Make an agreed appointment then are too busy to see you on time. Don"t provide the info. agreed on pricing and delivery. Shambles from start to finish. If they cant get the sales pitch right it tells you what their cars are like and their after sales. Warranty must be a nightmare with this shower. Would not buy a bent nail off Evans Halshaw or recommend my worst enemy to walk into their show room let a lone buy a vehicle.

Total lack of customer service.
Customer service dreadful. Lack of communication including no response to contact by emails and webchat. Eventually responded 3 weeks later but only after my phone call.
Wonderful lady on service reception was extremely helpful. Only plus of whole experience.
123 point checks hadn't been completed as issues with car from day 1.
Still issues with car. Lost all confidence in Evans Halshaw Hyundai Gateshead so having another garage look at it.
After years of purchasing cars including from other Evans Halshaw garages I would not recommend using this garage.

I dealt with two people - Michael Porter and Martin Mason - both of whom were excellent in every aspect regarding my car purchase.
I would have given a 5 star review, but a promise to have the vehicle's few knocks on the bodywork straightened out wasn't kept, but otherwise the whole process was straightforward from start to finish with a few options given for financing the deal.
