They are not living up to their promisis. NEVER have an insurance with this company!!! Spent 4 yrs fighting for them for something they should have paid. And spent a lot of money on lawyers.

It's a scam. they cover nothing. A broken window doesn't count as damage. A leaking roof doesn't count as damage. They will use any excuse to not help and when they don't have a good reason they pretty much say what are you going to do about it. Our lawyer said we should take them to court but it will cost a lot and guess what... Yeah etu won't cover that. Scam

This insurance:
- will give you minimum help in case you need
- will try to avoid any responsibilitiy as much as possible
- witholds parts of their terms upon contract signature which could be to your disadvantage.

1. I have not received full terms upon signature of contract. E.g. the terms to retshjælp have not been shown or communicated to exists until I have asked specifically for them. This might trick you into believe that there substantiallly less or less stricked terms that there are.

2. I am a first-time summerhouse owner. Had a storm damage on the. I have asked for an expert from the insurance to come out and inspect the damage. That has been denied, and I had to meneuvre myself in the landscape of carpenter which took a long time and thus made damages only worse. My carpenter gave his tilbud and the insurance only covers the most minimum part. I am left alone with most of the damage.

3. Had a water pipe burst as well, due to frost. I had 500.000 liters(!) flowing through the house. This time, they could send out a plumber within 48 hours, only to tell me that they do not cover the damage at all.

Good customer service and in general good company.

Ejerskifteforsikring: I had a case were I had to change the living floor. The case was estimated to 43,000 dkk and I'm glad to say that I have chose ETU for all my insurances.

Thanks to my consultant Lars Aakjær Ravn I could replace my old floor in a few weeks by a higly professional firm. I'm very satisfied about how the case was handeled and the prompt support received.

I have been a customer of 4 insurance companies in denmark and I have been a customer at ETU already for a while. I recently called to ask some questions about simple things. Lucky for me it was Mrs Nurten Mai that was on the other line. She is a professional not only prioritizes the interests of her company but also of her customer.

She gave me tips that made my policy cheaper and more comprehensive. I must express that this was the most helpful conversation I have ever had with an insurance company ever in denmark. I can’t express my gratitude enough.
Rest assured from now on whatever insurance i am buying Mrs Nurten @ ETU forsikring will be the first point of contact. I have already offered to move all my existing policies to ETU. Needless to say Mrs Nurten Mai is a incredible asset for her company.

So far, I have filed two claims on the vet bills for my pet. Each time, I have been overwhelmed with the quality of customer service from ETU. The first time I claimed, the refund was in my account 5 days after I filed the claim - only taking that long due to the weekend.
This time, I had some confusion about my recently opened case being closed, but the old one reopened, so I called and asked about it, and I was explained that due to a similar nature between my two claims, the insurance agent decided to file my recent claim under the first one, so I didn't have to pay the selvrisiko again.
Great service, fast replies and very sweet and personalised texts when I have been informed that my claim went through.

Previous I wrote great opinion, now I can give them less that one star. Terrible agency. When you have accident and you proved that you are innocent, you have photos and give them everything what they need, they have client in ass! They don’t care if you have photos or different proves they are lazy and don’t care.
I don’t recommend this agency.

It’s a SHAME I have been their customer for nearly two years and now when i will move and cancel some of my insurances they want nearly 700 dkk from me just couse they cant accept you to move even if i waited for 45 days to be moved!
Do not buy them very rude customer service and very expensive! They take money from people even if you cancel an insurance!
WILL NOT RECOMAND THEM!

While I was buying a house my lawyer forced me to choose this insurance stating these are reliable, trustable, quick in response; knowingly that my TR report has several K2, K3. I was new to this Realestate thing in DK. Neither the lawyer, nor the insurance offer states it won’t cover K2. I had my house, indbo, Ejerskifte insurances with ETU.
After moving found a leak in roof. Contacted the insurance on 11th September. No response. After few days contacted again through social medi. Then got call from claims department asking for pics. Sent pics. No response. After a week an inspector came and checked. He said house insurance will cover this. After few follow ups, 2 days ago claims dept replied saying there’s K2 on sealing. So it’s not covered. So transferring to Ejerskifte. Now I need to wait forever to know they won’t cover.

My point is, while you knowing that there’s all K2 report on the house, there’s nothing left to cover. Then why do you offer policy. That’s in reality useless. Why don’t to say that in first hand. Don’t know how much commission you pay to these cheating lawyers, as they too know of bad reports on houses but still not educating buyers and making useless policies.
