Worst customer support ever

Worst customer support ever. After 2 days of going into my troubles with verifying my bank account, and getting only AI generated unhelpful answers. they just stopped replying. This is the worst experience I have ever had as a seller.
If I could, I would have given them zero stars.

Funding criminal activity and persecuting innocent members of society.

I bought a Modified Seiko from Etsy using Klarna, to cut to the chase, the seller was a criminal who immediately started to use my personal details to WhatsApp me and offer more watches before the cut and shut made out of spare parts "Seiko" arrived and I immediately could tell this was made from spare parts, did not even work and was way over priced, after taxes and import fees paid around £160 for something that wouldn't even fetch £10 in a market, but if you did see it for £10 in a market, it would probably work!!
To cut a long exhausting story short, the item was returned through the Royal Mail, insured, thus if the seller did not want to receive it, it would of been sent back.
But this was a criminal who did not just take it back, closed their shop and now is re-operating under a new name.
Now I will say this, in Klarna's defence they did give me the option to pause payment, then out of the blue I could see my outstanding balance was up around £160 and Etsy and Klarna had conspired to charge me for some reason no one will ever know.
Please note the watch was returned almost immediately in January 2026 and now we in mid April 2026 and Klarna has reopened the charge and put it all on me, the innocent victim, I have spoken to both Etsy and Klarna now over 20 times in over 14 days and this is single handedly thee most disgusting Customer Service I have ever received, it got to the point I thought every interaction was Al, I was repeatedly told it was going to their highest department and the
"Supervisor" would call back, instead its an endless stream of faceless Message Bot texts that when you give the order number, explain your issue, they send you back to the beginning or tell you it is being seen.
In short I am the innocent victim of theft by a seller who not only threatened to send someone to my house when I wanted to return but took the return, closed up shop and is reopened under a new name.
Thankfully I spoke to Halifax who were very knowledgeable and understanding and could immediately spot that I was the victim and reimbursed me for my first payment.
What was Klarna's response after doing nothing for 20 days, immediately try and steal back what was rightfully mine and tried to steal back the first payment of £160.
So be very waring of using both Klarna and Etsy, I have a feeling they have a linked Customer Services department who are very sadistic and have done nothing to help and everything to aid a criminal and persecute an innocent member of the public trying to steal their hard earned money for criminals enterprises.
To add further insult to further injury Etsy got so upset that I had to get a refund directly from my bank they manage to reinstate and RECHARGE ME for dealing with the situation and I have been charged again.
Etsy truly are a very evil company which are not just selling the watch that was returned but informed me its none of my business if I discovered this is happening and be quiet!!

I have sold $70 worth of merchandise on the Etsy seller app and have not been paid for not one of them. And it has been over 45 days since my first sale. No way to contact them. So I took my shop down. The only Etsy that has went through my bank is money they charge me. Never a deposit

Beware selling on etsy

Beware selling on etsy, their customer service are only bots. When buyer want refund they force to refund your fund and you will lose your item. After 11 years selling at etsy this is the most peak capitalism of such company that only think themself, what a shame etsy.

Bait and Switch???…

I find it very frustrating that sellers picture a product and a price, yet when you make your choice (color, size, personalization, etc), that is NOT the price for the pictured item. It is the price for the most basic, smallest option, which is not the item pictured. Seems like bait and switch to me.

If it looks fake, it is.

It's too bad Etsy has become overrun with FRAUD. I used to trust these sellers . Not anymore!!! If you're looking at plants/ seeds, buyer beware. And they're making a ton of money off of you.

So purchasing through their website is not requiring an account, now I got a message my order was shipped, to follow it I suddenly have to make an account, I do not want to, basically they are forcing me to do this, they do accept orders and payments but services are lacking

I made an order through Etsy for an Urn from India.

I made an order through Etsy for a product from MakersMemoryIN. The order was shipped on Nov. 7, 2025. I contacted MakersMemoryIN and they assured me there was a delay in customs. By late December, no product. I requested a cancellation and refund from MakersMemoryIN. No response. After having difficulty getting information on the payment I used and accessing Etsy, I was pass the 100 day threshold for refunds and filing complaints..

Etsy response to issues that need…

Etsy response to issues that need immediate response is the worst. If you are thinking of using Etsy to setup shop I would highly recommend considering other options. Yes your products will be on a huge platform but support from the company is absolutely not there when you need it. They will lock you out when you change or update any of you payment changes, address, or just general tax id changes. Then all those open orders you may have... Well you will get a bad standing from your customer base and Etsy will charge you for unshipped items. Again don't use them.

Also they will always side with a buyer and it will cost you.

Just don't do it

Account suspended. No Support

My account was suspended due to a Payoneer internal error that was already fixed by the Payoneer team, but Etsy support refuses to help me.
All I get is automatic messages and when I try chat support they always say they will escalate to this specific team that never reaches out.
I'm over a week waiting for any help

Nomad Leather Coat Scam

Ordered a leather coat by Nomad Leather, received a different coat than on the pic. Different style and colour, the length was way off too despite me sending my complete body measurements. Waste of money, time and energy. I do not recommend anyone to buy tailor-maid leather items from Nomad Leather, it's a scam! Etsy should not advertise and sell their products. I have bought other items from Etsy and no problem. Etsy wake up and do something about this!!

Every Single Step of the 'process' FAILS

Every Single Step of the 'process' of setting up a 'shop' failed. Every One.
you can't use your name, 'wizard' will tell you 'that name is taken'. the 'PLAID' set up fails more than a dozen times.
the 'verification', photograph your id and take a selfi Failed.
and after 3 hours that's as far as i've gotten.
Garbage.

My items and will use another platform in future. As far as buyers asking vague questions which don’t lead to a purchase, I smell a rat.
