Helpful advice for first-time buyer

RICS Level 2 for Mortgage Application
We had a RICS Level 2 survey carried out and were extremely happy with the service from start to finish. The surveyor (Ian Bawden) was friendly, professional, thorough and clearly took the time to properly assess the property.
The report was detailed, easy to understand and highlighted the important issues clearly, which gave us a much better understanding of the condition of the property and what we needed to consider before proceeding with our purchase as first time buyers.
Overall, a very professional and reassuring service from Ian that gave us much greater confidence in making an informed decision. We would happily recommend them to anyone looking for a thorough and reliable RICS survey.

Excellent Experience
Booked a Level 2 survey on a Thursday and the survey was done with the report sent to me by Friday evening! Excellent, thorough service and I was given a chance to ask questions and had everything explained to me as a first home buyer. I definitely recommend esurv.

Excellent service
Excellent service.
I was just expecting to receive a report following the survey, however the surveyor called me whilst visiting the property to talk through any areas of concern I might have, and looked carefully at that those areas whilst carrying out his inspection. He spent 30 minutes on the phone talking this through with me. I felt very reassured that his survey had been thorough.
I received his report very shortly after the visit it addressed all the issues I had flagged up and was again thorough and clear.
Following this, the surveyor spoke with my husband on the phone to discuss the findings of the report, and was very helpful with his advice. He also said that should we need anything further we could contact him again and he would happily make the time to discuss with us.
Mr Watson, the surveyor who completed our report, was friendly, helpful, generous with his time, and very knowledgeable. Highly recommended.

Quick, efficient and thorough
Florence was so lovely on the phone explaining the process. They took my information and handled the rest seamlessly. Craig was thorough and detailed in his survey. We got text and email updated throughout and overall just a very pleasant experience. The survey was scheduled barely a week after requesting them. Craig even reached out beforehand directly in case we had specific concerns or questions he should focus in on. We had the report delivered two days after the survey. Well worth the money.

Mark was great
Mark was great, in setting out the core issues that need most attention, he gave plenty of back up information to support what he was suggesting. Beyond the more crucial repairs that he cited, he also gave us a future roadmap for the maintenance of our new property in order of importance. On top of that everything was done to the time he said things would happen. The report arrived a day or two earlier, so we were delighted. In the house buying world where everything notoriously takes an age and is confusing, this service in stark contrast was clear, detailed and done within a good timeframe. I'm certainly more confident about what my solicitor needs to do now to ensure that the house is up to regulatory spec. Thank you Mark and e. serv.
