I came to Turkey (Esteworld) and they was honestly unbelievable.

There was at the airport to collect us when we landed.

we arrive at the hotel it was outstanding 5 star we had use of the spa, the staff was unreal we haven’t lifted a finger, there was amazing with our daughter.

The hospital there was a translator he was with me throughout my journey made me feel very reassured, he was so lovely with us.

From start to finish I can not recommend this company enough, the best choice I ever made!!!

And the things that i personally think they could improve is the more transparency to the hair extraction process cause they act like robots not humans , the doctors need to understand the minimal English words and during the surgery to speak a little cause the talked a lot and laughing all the tine even making it uncomfortable sometimes.

Getting treated at the Esteworld clinic in Istanbul is a seamless experience! They are really well organised, very professional, and very attentive to their patients.
First of all, the most difficult thing when you want a hair transplant is getting over your fears. You think it is complicated and most people are afraid in pursuing their dream to restore their hair. However, the new methods developed in particular DHI, the one I used, are little invasive and the procedure does not hurt at all.
Second, Esteworld is vey organised. I live in Romania so the Bucharest office reserved not only my intervention at the Istanbul clinic in Turkey, but also plane tickets, hotel and driver from the airport to the hotel and clinic, and an interpreter. Everything was very convenient. I opted for the Hilton hotel close to the clinic (5 minute walking distance).

Third, on the day of the intervention, I went to the clinic, and the whole process was very well prepared. My interpreter (thank you Alexandra!) took me to have the doctors draw the blood and then we went to the doctor that evaluated and marked the regions where I will have the hair transplanted (she was very attentive). Then I had my hair cut, and the procedure started. I opted for the additional sedation so basically you don't feel anything. They start by taking the necessary grafts of hair, and that took about 2 hours. Afterwards, there was a 30 minute break when I was able to eat and use the toilet. Then, the hair transplant procedure started. It lasted about 4 hours, you can watch TV our use your phone sometimes. I preferred taking a nap on and off and relaxing during the procedure.
I particularly liked the fact that my translator took me everywhere in the clinic and she was step by step explaining what was happening next, so it was as if I were having a friend with me for support.
So, the entire procedure was pain free. After the anaesthetic wore off I felt a head ache at night in the hotel, but the clinic gives you painkillers so I was able to sleep most of the night after. There is a bit of inconvenience because you have to rest with your upper body/head at a 45 degree angle, but I used a few pillows and was able to sleep pretty comfortably on the couch in the hotel room.
All in all, I recommend the Esteworld clinic to anyone, you should cast your fears a side and have them work on your hair transplant! I would also like to thank the entire team that cared for me at the clinic, all the doctors and Alexandra, the interpreter.

I am grateful to my wonderful anesthesiologist, who brought such a positive aura to my ward that I was no longer nervous about anesthesia. The operation and anesthesia lasted 4-5 hours, but for me this time was fleeting. I woke up feeling fantastic, no complications, no discomfort. The anesthesia period went perfectly as well.

I would like to thank the medical staff, nurses, and orderlies. They were ready to provide medical services to me 24/7. They had a very warm and positive attitude towards me, they always encouraged me, and what is important to me is that the nurses were good professionals and did their job with satisfaction and happiness. It was felt and they were very organized.

And finally, my translator. The most lovely Ihsan and a lady whose name I cannot remember, but her kindness will remain indelible in my memory. These two people were constantly by my side in the clinic and translated for me. Their professional skills were not only knowledge of the language, but also academic reception, arranging documents, warm hospitality, care, creating comfort and a friendly welcome. The organisation was very professional from start to finish. Everyone on the staff was kind and helpful. The interpreter meant me a lot, I could rely on her and she supported me patiently in everything. I felt I was in safe hands all the time. The follow-up also gives me peace of mind. I am glad I chose Esteworld.

Overall, my experience with Esteworld was good, and I appreciated the level of organisation and care provided throughout the process. From the moment I booked, the team were on hand to answer all my questions before surgery and during the travel arrangements. Airport pick-up, hotel transfers, and hospital transport were all well coordinated, and I was given a clear plan for each step of the day. This made the journey feel smooth and reassuring.

The hospital and hotel were both clean and comfortable, and I was impressed that the clinic arranged a late check-out for me on the day of departure, which made a big difference given my evening flight. After surgery, I was also given an IV drip and PRP treatment, which helped me feel alert and supported during recovery. Pain was manageable with the medication provided, and the aftercare instructions were clear.

That said, there are areas where the experience could be improved.

• Language support: At times, the language barrier was challenging. During surgery, the translator left the room, and the technicians couldn’t understand my requests. This was uncomfortable, especially when I wanted to avoid grafts being taken from a specific area. While the team apologised and adjusted once the translator returned, I believe continuous translation support is important for patient safety and comfort.
• Professionalism: When my bloods were taken, the nurse was distracted in conversation, which felt careless even if only for a moment. Patients want full attention during medical procedures.
• Comfort during surgery: The procedure itself was straightforward, but it would have been nice to have background music or working TV to make the long hours more relaxing.
• Post-surgery arrangements: Walking back through reception immediately after surgery felt uncomfortable. A private exit or recovery area would make patients feel less self-conscious.
• Documentation: Forms should ideally be available in English (or the patient’s native language) to ensure clarity when signing medical documents.

Despite these points, I do feel Esteworld looked after me well overall. The staff were caring, the facilities were good, and the organisation around travel and accommodation was excellent. With a few improvements in professionalism and language support, the experience could be even better. I’ll share an update later on the results of the transplant, but so far recovery is going smoothly, with scabs already falling off as expected.

My experience with Esteworld was truly an excellent experience from beginning to end. A major reason for this enjoyable experience was because of the efforts of Cemre Duru (Patient Coordinator). Cemre is the definition of a Professional. He is both intelligent and very competent in his role. I would rate his customer service at a full 5 out of 5 Stars! I have happily referred many patients to Cemre and Esteworld.

Communication was proactive and clear before the surgery. Everything went according to the agreement. Procedure was painfree and professional. People were kind during the whole time.

Review of Esteworld

Overall, a very good experience. I am very satisfied with the support I received both before and after the treatment – whenever you have questions or something isn’t working, you get quick and helpful responses. It feels safe and professional.

A small criticism concerns the actual treatment day at the clinic. While I was lying in the room, staff came in and out quite often, sometimes to show things on their phones or talk internally. They laughed and spoke a lot of Turkish with each other during the approximately eight hours the treatment took. It felt a bit strange and distracting when you’re lying there for so long.

But aside from that, I am very satisfied.

From the first moment the service was very good even for a foreigner. To tell you the truth the operation is a long and tiring but the staff was pretty helpful during the whole period. Even after the operation they are willing to assist if you have any questions and they are very kind as well

This is my second visit at Esteworld. Good service friendly and knowledgeable staff. I contacted Mr Murat Madan in Montreal Canada he was my contact person for both visit he is very knowledgeable and Friendly explained me the whole procedure and help me booking my both visit. Teuta did an excellent job she was my translator explaining to me and all my questions to the doctors and other staff very well. She was with me the whole time. Clinic is well managed and clean. They fallow all the right step by taking blood samples, anesthesia and all other important stuffs. I would definitely recommend it to my friends and family.

Im going to start by saying how incredible my entire experience was with Esteworld, from the very first conversations all the way through to aftercare.

I flew in from Vancouver, Canada, which is a long journey, but Turkish Airlines fly direct from both Vancouver and Toronto. If you’re travelling from Canada, I’d highly recommend choosing a direct flight. It made the whole trip far more relaxing and straightforward.

Before travelling, Esteworld provided very clear instructions, photos, and guidance on exactly where to meet their driver at the airport. When I arrived, I was picked up in a luxury van and taken straight to the hotel, extremely smooth and stress-free. The hotel itself was excellent, and I again received detailed pickup instructions for the next morning.

The next day, a very comfortable limo collected me and took me to the Esteworld hospital. I was greeted at the door by friendly staff and my amazing translator who stayed with me throughout the whole process. The facility is honestly unlike any hospital I’ve ever seen, it feels more like a premium private medical centre or hotel. Everything is spotless, modern, and professional.

We started with bloodwork, medical checks, and a full explanation of the procedure. They then gave me a haircut (I kept the top long), took pre-surgery photos, and prepared me for the operation.

Like most people, I’d heard horror stories about the injections, but with the medication they provide, I genuinely felt zero pain. The extraction stage is painless, though of course staying in the same position for a while can be a bit uncomfortable. The technicians carried this out under the supervision of the doctors, and lunch was provided afterwards.

The implantation stage was performed by the doctor. I did feel a few of the extra injections near the end, but the numbing from earlier helped a lot. I chose not to have additional anaesthetic at the very end because I wanted to minimise swelling. This part took several hours, but lying on your back was completely fine. Once finished, I had more photos taken, received medication with precise aftercare instructions, and was taken back to the hotel. I was tired by that point, so sleeping wasn’t an issue.

The next morning at 9:30am, I was picked up again and taken back to the clinic for my wash and cleaning. My translator met me there once more, bandages were removed, everything was checked, and after a final clean-up I was driven straight to the airport for my flight home.

It still amazes me that I flew from Canada to Turkey on a Saturday, had a full transplant, and was back home by Tuesday. The entire process was seamless. I did feel like a bit of a plank at the airport with my headband on, but there were a few others, so it could have been worse.

I also need to highlight the people, the coordinators, doctors, technicians, nurses, translators, and even the drivers. Every single person I dealt with was kind, professional, and genuinely invested in my comfort and results.

Aftercare has also been excellent. I have my own dedicated aftercare specialist available via WhatsApp, and they respond quickly to every question. I feel very looked after post-surgery, which gives huge peace of mind.

I did a lot of research before choosing Esteworld, and I can honestly say I couldn’t recommend them more. They made something that many people feel nervous about into an easy, comfortable, and surprisingly enjoyable experience. And yes, I’m a real person, not a bot or paid reviewer.

It’s an extremely professional experience. I had a DHI hair transplant. I was speaking with my designated contact on WhatsApp for several months before the procedure. He answered all my questions, organised the logistics of my travel in Istanbul and was generally extremely helpful, gave timely responses and put me at ease. The day of procedure you’re met with an interpreter to guide you through the process and allows you to ask any questions. I was well looked after by skilled doctors and nurses who provided a really high quality level of care, despite the language difference (I’m also a nurse so it was appreciated). I’m day one post procedure so will wait for the results but so far I cannot fault the professionalism of the clinic and the kindness of the staff who put me at ease with what could have been a stressful experience.
