Used Esskay cars on several occasions….very prompt service, clean cars and pleasant drivers. I wouldn’t choose any other company.

My driver was not there as stated at 16.00 even though my flight landed at 15.30 my luggage was collected and I was at the said destination! By 15.50 I recieved a text around 16.16 well after arrival and had already started phoning the company to find out where my driver was ! Simply not good enough!
It had asked on the booking form where I would like to be collected as you will see per booking form ! However this was not the case ! I then was told to go to level 3 red car park I was guided to level 1 by a steward in Gatwick! Its freezing cold and I am still waiting ! I then recieve a text say he will be 6 mins at 16.27 . He don't arrive until 1641 and texts to say he is on level 3 and I am on level 0 with excessive luggage ! I was not impressed by this saga ! His car is smelly and needs freshening .
The driver continually flickered his phone through leaving wassap messages!, chatting on the phone! And now using the calculator on his phone all whilst driving ! I am horrified that he thinks this is OK! I asked him to stop using his phone as I am frightened and it is against the law ! Then proceeded to do it again! I told him if he don't stop I will report him !my safety was not even put into consideration here at all ! He dumped me off on the pavement with 4 cases not even so much as waited to help me on the lift or open the door ! This man should have the public safety at the forefront of his job , but abused his position and put my safety in jeopardy!

Made a pre booked Heathrow pick up transfer through Taxicode as my partner was travelling solo and had flight delays, and wanted to make the journey from the airport home as smooth as possible. I booked online and called Esskay cars who had been assigned the job to confirm directly that the driver would be waiting in the arrivals hall. I even emailed them a link to the live flight tracking to ensure there would be no issues.

THE DRIVER DID NOT TURN UP. When called we were simply told that a driver had not been dispatched and that they can send a driver now that would take 45 minutes. Needless to say an uber was ordered that came instantly at a price vastly less than the pre booked price. WILL NOT USE AGAIN and will probably only use uber for all future airport transfers.

Great service. Clear communication before, during and after service. Driver there as arranged. Clean and well maintained vehicle and considerate driving. All in all efficient and effective-and I'll be using again.

“This 'service' was completely disappointing and certainly not something that you would expect after a long haul flight. The driver was nearly an hour late in picking us up. When speaking to the office, we were told that he would be there at 6pm (the time we had booked for), then after 15 minutes and he hadn't turned up we phoned back. They contacted him and said he was just parking and he would be with us soon. Another 20 minutes later he still hadn't turned up and we had to contact the office again. We were then put through to the driver saying he was just arriving at the airport even though the office had told us he was arriving 20 minutes earlier. It then took him another 15 minutes to get into the car park as there was traffic. The communication was shocking and what topped it all off was that the driver wasn't even apologetic when he finally reached us. I understand that there will be some traffic on the road but I had made this booking online the previous day so it wasn't a last minute thing. Esskay cars should have sent the driver earlier to ensure that he arrived for 6pm. All the other taxi companies were able to do that as their drivers were there to meet the customers when they came out of arrivals. No offer of compensation was offered at anytime when were speaking to the office. When I tried to track the car with the link provided on the email, the link did not work. I will never use this service again and would not recommend them to anyone. Avoid this company. ”

They never even showed up and have made offer of any refund of any kind. I booked online for a Heathrow to city transfer xnd paid in full in advance.

Booked a taxi for travel to the airport. 10 mins after the taxi had been due to arrive, called to find out where it was - informed it was still another 40 minutes away. I had factored a bit of extra time but 50 minutes late was way too much and they didn't even call!!! I had to call to find out where they were. DO NOT USE UNLESS YOU DON'T CARE WHAT TIME YOU GET SOMEWHERE!!!

I pre-booked Esskay Cars through Taxipricecompare two weeks in advance, and paid for in advance, a taxi for an airport pick-up. As we landed at the airport and I switched my phone on I got a call from Taxipricecompare saying that Esskay Cars didn't have an available car, and would I like to cancel OR book a different car. Obviously I said to book another car - myself and my four companions did not want to be stranded. They said that they could do this but we would have to wait another 1.5 hours and we would have to pay again, a price of 1.5 times the original. I said we had already paid!! They said they would refund that payment in 3-4 days. So, now we are out of pocket, no taxi unless we wait a lengthy period and pay additional money, and stranded at the very last minute at the airport!! Esskay cars let everyone down here - why couldn't they have warned us earlier so we could book someone else? Did they find a better job at more money? Both companies passed the buck.
