Worst customer "support" ever.

So, I'm using Epic games launcher because I'm a artist and need it for Unreal engine.
Today my account got hacked, someone changed my password and email and I just can't to recover my account because they support is non existent.

They have some garbage AI agent that is not helpful at all and they just don't care about safety on users there, so if you guys can, avoid it because you will lose your account, money and games there.

*I will seek some legal advice now on what to do next because on their platform literally someone stole something I own and no one cares.

I have never seen a lazier company in my entire life. I mostly play Rocket League and your support for the community is non existent. Shut the servers down at this point and sell them to someone else, as they would genuinely do a better job compared to such a big company. What a joke honestly. Find a better way to limit bots and smurfs. Ban gaming units instead of accounts. I can make a new email in 5 min and hop on a fresh account.

The worst support

They have the worst support you could imagine. I have now had a case with them for 14-16 days and have not progressed one step with the case yet, they do not help, they just send 40 emails where it says what you need to do and when you do that and write back to them that it does not work, they just send a new one and say you have to do something else that does not work. Afterwards you start over and get all the same emails again.

Probably the most outrages tech support…

Probably the most outrages tech support ever, they don't reply to you easily and their server crashes like crazy. And the engine they use to run the games is very unoptimized and it does bring a lotta problems when its running in the background

Epic games is the biggest POS company…

Epic games is the biggest POS company out today, protecting hacker and cheaters instead of banning them, letting them hide anonymously is bullshit, and they dont perma ban anyone, 100s of reports and nothing, they need sued again and again until the make a fair game not bullshit cheaters getting protected by a company that shits on the loyal day 1 players, but nope they fire 1000 employees and now the game runs like complete shit,, good job azz faces!

Worse than hitler

Worse than hitler, the launcher has been railing my pc through the ass just because I want to download ark survival evolved, I can’t install the game cus the installation will stop up and freeze. And I can’t uninstall either cus the dumbass launcher doesn’t work. I’ve restarted, and done all typical steps to try and make it work for the last 3 hours, I want a refund dude 😭 I’m gonna buy this shit on steam even though I paid for it here ngl, this launcher is so ass it makes it impossible to do the simplest of tasks. The tragedy of the modern human condition is not war, famine, or mortality itself. No it is opening the Epic Games Launcher. 🫩

The Epic Games Launcher’s download system is not merely flawed software — it is a profound meditation on the fragility of hope itself.

A normal download manager performs one sacred duty:
You click “download,” and the game downloads.

This ancient covenant between man and machine was established decades ago. It is simple. Beautiful, even. Yet the Epic Games Launcher dares to challenge this assumption at its very core. It asks:
“What if downloading a game felt instead like negotiating with an unpredictable forest spirit?”

At first, all seems well. The speed climbs triumphantly to 87 MB/s. Your optimism returns. You begin imagining yourself actually playing the game before sunset.

Then suddenly:
0 B/s.

No warning. No explanation. Just silence.

The launcher stares back at you with the emotional emptiness of a dying shopping mall aquarium. “Calculating…” it whispers, as though the secrets of the universe itself must be solved before the remaining 2% can install.

Minutes pass.

Then, for reasons unknowable to science, the download resumes at full speed for exactly eleven seconds before collapsing again into digital rigor mortis.

The true horror is not the slowness — it is the inconsistency. Steam downloads with industrial efficiency. Other launchers behave like tools. The Epic Games Launcher behaves like an elderly wizard trying to remember where he put the files.

And the disk usage graphs only deepen the madness. One moment your SSD is being hammered at light speed. The next, the launcher appears to be decompressing the concept of matter itself. CPU spikes. Disk usage flatlines. Network disappears entirely. Yet somehow the launcher insists it is still “working.”

Working on what?

Nobody knows.

Perhaps every Epic download is manually approved by a council hidden beneath a mountain. Perhaps a single intern must personally bless each packet before it reaches your PC. Perhaps the launcher simply enjoys suffering as an art form.

In this way, the Epic Games Launcher transcends software failure and becomes philosophy. It reminds us that progress is temporary, certainty is an illusion, and no matter how fast your internet is, there will always come a moment where the launcher freezes at 82% and forces you to question your faith in humanity itself.
