NO SUPPORT FROM COMPANY

We have purchased different types of epever products such as,solar charger and remote devices.
Within a year the solar charger stopped working with out any indication.
Just another useless product that failed.
No support from direct suppliers No reply from thier emails.
I was left stranded without any help.
I took it apart hoping I will fix it, and seems it was a software issue.
So I ended up scraping all that I had bought from Epever into the dust bin.
Lessons tough.
Thankfully my students witness the after math and hoping they will pass message that Epever might had cheap prices but No support.

EPEVER Speculates on Its Customers

I find it extremely disappointing that a relatively expensive EPEVER IT-NC G3 MPPT charge controller does not include Bluetooth as standard.
The controller has an RJ45 communication port, but if you want to connect it to your phone, you have to buy an additional Bluetooth dongle separately.
Instead of integrating it into the controller, EPEVER has chosen to speculate on its customers by making them purchase an additional accessory just to get wireless access.

Than, when the battery voltage is low, the controller starts making a repeated clicking/cycling noise, particularly around dawn when the solar input is beginning to come in , 5am.
Being woken up by an expensive piece of electrical equipment repeatedly clicking is completely unacceptable.
Even if the cycling is related to the controller's protection behaviour, I strongly criticise the design choice that allows it to produce such an intrusive mechanical noise. A modern MPPT controller should be designed to operate quietly, or at the very least provide a proper way to disable an audible/mechanical alarm without compromising battery protection.

I used Victron MPPT controllers for years and I honestly regret switching to EPEVER. The difference in design, usability and overall customer experience has been extremely disappointing
