Terrible Communications. Wrong billing from months before i moved in. Been 3 weeks and the issue still is not fixed. Do not recomend. Use any other provider trust me. Quick to email you if you owe money however when they make a mistake you will wait days.

I advise against utilizing the smart next tariff, as it has proven ineffective, yet remains available for purchase. i would recommend transitioning to Octopus, as their services operate without issue. I incurred a £250 expense with the car company to facilitate communication with Eon, resulting in a significant financial loss. Consequently, I am pursuing legal action through the small claims court.
Dreadful to get your credit back
Was ok while I was with them until you want your credit back then they’re a nightmare. Left them a month ago and still won’t give my credit back and final bill. Won’t be switching to them again they put the blame on new suppliers even though they and myself have given them a reading

Hi, happy to take time today to write this review to say thanks to KYLAN from the Solar tech support team, my query was about the EON home app / GIV Energy app, he was very patience with me, I asked a lot of questions on how I can improve the efficiency of my solar panel and battery set up, the most helpful guy at EON I think I have ever come across.

Definitely Not Now.
Had a quote several weeks ago for solar pannels and battery. £7695. A little expensive for me.
Today I noticed them advertising a £500 discount. Put in my details again expecting to be signing up but the same install now costs £8195 and they then give you this fantastic discount of £500 so the price is again £7695. What a con.
I’ve been with E.on less than a month…
I’ve been with E.on less than a month and already cannot wait until my contract is up so I can leave. Referral scheme is a scam and doesn’t work, they do not honour it. Customer service is diabolical, very combative and certainly not bothered about customer satisfaction. Unfortunately I am outside of my 14 day cooling off period otherwise I would’ve left immediately. Do not bother.

Smart Metre Replacement
Had Ian (I10881) out to fit a new smart metre for gas and electric. He was polite, professional and friendly. He completed the job swiftly and kept me well informed throughout, despite some awful weather conditions!

Absolutely awful - never use EON
Absolutely awful. Customer service is non-existent. I literally sent in about five emails over the course of a couple weeks before I got a copy and paste template response from ChatGPT, seemingly telling me that I need to call the customer service number and apparently the customer service email team can’t help… In the time that I had to wait for a response, I got charged a late payment fee (because my issue was something to do with billing that I emailed in about). They wouldn't even refund or credit that money even though it was their fault that they didn't respond to me within time!
I've had this happen to me multiple times now so clearly their customer service team is not trained well enough or they just don't have one (or the company just doesn't give a shit about you and only wants to charge you more money for the late payment fee)
Unfortunately I'm in a fixed contract for another year. Otherwise I'd absolutely be going somewhere else

They are dishonest, lacking credibility and integrity. If there was anything less than 1 star I will give it to them. Horrible experience.
Very disappointed....
Had an electric car tariff at my old address and no problems, very happy. The problems started 3 weeks ago when I moved houses. Trying to get smart meters fitted has been a nightmare. Loads of messages back and forth to India. Also my account at my old house had quite a bit of credit, this seems to have disappeared. I am going to change to Octopus.

Absolutely disgusting behaviour by this corporation. How can you sell my account to a debt collector when you have not sent me a SINGLE bill or request. Then when I call you, your customer service is pathetic…Feels like you made a debt up over a month for £60+ when the property was empty…. Complete cowboy company and I will never use your services again!
Avoid at all cost
Got my keys in September for my new property and had prepaid meters for both gas and electric. Phoned to ask to change to digital meters, finally managed to get an engineer out 4 weeks after initial discussing which also involved me phoning 4 times to get available for appointment. To then find out the meters was not suitable for my supply. This was over 3 months ago and still fighting with them to install new once’s. Customer service is very poor and not very helpful at all. Avoid at all cost!
Great engineer...very clean and hardworking
We liked the engineer Ian I10881 who was very polite, friendly, understanding and helpful but we didn't like that he wasn't given the correct number to contact so had to turn up unannounced which was not ideal as attending the property of a vulnerable customer. Also we put a password on the account which was not provided from the the offset... he confirmed it when asked but had already the work...
