Purchased Oud Extraordinaire on July…
Purchased Oud Extraordinaire on July 11, 2025, delivered July 18, 2025. Expected 8–12+ hour longevity based on Ensar’s claims and reviews (e.g., Trustpilot, Kafkaesque). Sadly, it lasts under 2 hours on my skin with proper application (1–2 drops, no rubbing). Contacted Ensar Oud, but their response was dismissive, citing their no-return policy and my lack of experience with oud, without addressing the issue. The oil’s texture seems okay, but the performance suggests possible dilution or batch issues. Filing a claim with my payment provider. Disappointed, as I hoped for the quality Ensar is known for.
Do not waste your money with this cheap company.

There is a phenomenon called 'bottle shock' which may be playing part in your experience. The aroma molecules literally rearrange during high altitude transportation, and take some time to realign before you get the full spectrum of the scent profile. There are also other variables to consider such as ambient temperature, humidity, and even the way your skin interacts with oils. Another HUGE factor is whether or not you're familiar with natural aromatics. People that are used to synthetics will perceive natural aromatics to be 'light' and having poor performance, when really you simply haven't adjusted to the natural aroma.
The olfactory receptors renew every 40 days or so, so what I would recommend is to not give up on it, rather to approach it again and again training your nose to pickup on its nuances.

A zero rating is appropriate
A zero rating is appropriate. I have received the fragrances, and after applying the free sample, it is clear that the words to describe these fragrances on the website are no more than knock-off poetry, as the fragrances themselves. Watch for words as mystic, sultan, years of distilling, and geography lessons to describe these products.
After using the free sample, it was clear that the fragrances are not what they are supposed to be.
Read the return policy, and you will know the guilt they place on you for returning their product. Mr. Riding has stumbled upon poetry and cheap labor to exploit untrained noses into buying Ensar's product. Shipping is from Jordan.

Beginning my Oud journey
Beginning my Oud journey. Stumbled upon Ensar Oud by chance and happy I did. The descriptions about products were great and helped shaped my purchase. Glad they offer sample vials. Went that route since wasn't ready to commit to larger bottles at this point. Ordering was easy. Delivery was quick and on time. Very happy with my choices. All smell great. Will order again.
