First class treatment.

After five years of suffering from chronic Erosive Pustular Dermatosis, l was used to lumps appearing on my scalp and then going away. Then a lump appeared, continued to grow and then started to bleed. My GP referred me to Royal Surrey Hospital. A week later l saw a consultant and the following day the lump was removed. Surely absolutely first class treatment.

Home Treatment Team

The Home Treatment Team just discharge you on the same day, even if you are at risk of harm.

They don't involve you in care plans or write proper safety plans.

My Son had a seizure straight away…

My Son had a seizure straight away Emergency 999 was call, After the initial interview they do when, what, how, colour, breathing, reposivve leave, explain to het he is still unresponsive, she said it will take up to 5 hours, for the paramedics to come out, i said he is in a serious and critical condition and I said he need urgent attention she apologised and said it will take up to 5 hours and she won't be able to do anything at the moment and keep and checking him, if he gets any seriuos or life threatening call 999 straight away, I know for a fact any human being in this condition, the response should be 4 minutes specially if they are a child, my son is 15 years of age, which I mentioned. No help at all in that emergency situation, plus I could not take him to hospital myself as his arms and legs was stiff, plus not responding, after an hour he started recovering a bit, bought him to the hospital in my car, even Hospital staff was shocked how she dealt with in need of my son's emergency and they said she should've sent a paramedics out with in 4 minutes.

Mr Hadeel Omer consultant

This person was arrogant in the extreme and my experience of his attitude of rudeness, anger and dismissiveness was the most hurtful I’ve experienced in the NHS in my 71 years. I lodged a formal complaint.

Continued NHS Hearing Aid Failure

18 months ago, I purchased what was allegedly the top of the range hearing aids, privately from the NHS Audiology Hornchurch Essex, (Vista Health) the GN Resound Nexia plus a Multi-Mic. A new phone was also purchased to receive Bluetooth and whatever was required to enable hearing aids to work. It is from this point that the service/product goes downhill.
I have purchased what GN Resound / NHS Hornchurch , Essex claims to be the equivalent of an All-Terrain Vehicle , however it struggles to function when it hits a puddle.(General hearing of everyday life)
These alleged experts have had enough time to rectify the problem over these past 18 months. In August 2025 consultants from GN Resound attended a hearing appointment and came to a café with myself and an NHS practitioner. The main problem is, I struggle to hear operatives in shops or enclosed places. When I mentioned this point about the operative in the cafe, the reason I was given was “She was softly spoken”. Problem was, I still did not understand her because I could not hear her. Remedies not excuses are what I want.
It is now December. A follow up appointment with GN Resound or the NHS has yet to materialise in dealing with this issue. Early in the year I recorded the problems I face when out of the sterile environment of home on a Dictaphone machine, but no-one was interested in listening to what I had gathered. Appointments have become rare to discuss or deal with this ongoing situation of failing to hear in public places. The In-Health audiologists that I have spoken to claim not to have the skills required to deal with the private side of hearing aids, the knowledge or experience.
In the surgery/ consulting room, conversation is good and fluent between practitioner and myself but on leaving the surgery and trying to conduct ordinary everyday functions of human interaction, the hearing aids besides ringing when receiving a phone call, are of no use.
Public transport becomes hazardous when details and instructions have not been heard. Information and details from Tannoy’s or public address are difficult to hear or decipher. Such situations have caused delays to my travel arrangements on varying occasions when using trains and the underground.
Drivers on buses are difficult to hear due to the plastic shield that surrounds them. Unless a person is sitting next to me on the bus, I cannot hear what is being said. These are issues that I have reported on several occasions when attending hearing aid appointments and something that still persists. Yet this hearing aid system claims to make hearing better but does not live up to its claims.
Group and social settings
The disadvantages of these hearing aids, it could be argued has been conveniently overlooked by the GN Resound company and NHS. No practitioner has given me the answer as to why the hearing aids do not work around people, or when surrounded by the general public in shops pubs or restaurants.
When I explain that I have clipped the Multi-Mic onto my shirt in such situations to try and get clarity of conversation, different practitioners have regurgitated to me the text from the sales blurb. ( For one-on-one situations clip a ReSound microphone on to the clothing of the person you want to talk to and enjoy the conversation, even in background noise.) How does the Multi-Mic work in group settings? Where do you put the Multi-Mic in group settings? Does the group or party need a table to sit around?
A complete failure to recognise how impractical it is to put the Multi-Mic down on a restaurant table, on a bar in a pub or any other environment that the user may find themselves in besides 1 on 1. People do not spend their time sitting at a table for any length of time. There are many areas that the Multi-Mic is not suitable for.
The main problem is the hearing aids do not work in areas where there is noise and sheltered human interaction. Conversation is difficult usually non-existent on public transport, shops, Cafes, restaurants or pubs which these hearing aids do not address
Q. When a person is socialising with family or friends where can the Multi Mic be placed? Socialising consists of speaking to more than one person. People move around regardless of the venue.
The failings of these hearing aids have curtailed my social life. I am gradually withdrawing for from socialising with friends, many of whom I went to school with from the 1960’s. Going to the theatre is now a thing of the past. I am feeling frustrated and isolated. Angry at spending a lot of money on an item that does not work and no forthcoming resolution after 18 months of patience. The audiology department of these companies have failed me in more ways than one. No one is taking responsibility or fixing the problem.

Why when i don't trust you. I actually even got my dental done abroad as better service at 50% less than UK. Despite talking to someone on phone i am still receiving these messages.

The whole system is outdated

The whole system is outdated, backwards and quite frankly an absolute shambles. I’m still awaiting diagnosis 18 months on from the first signs of symptoms, and I’ve seen 24 different “specialists.” NHS England need to take a leaf out of France and Belgium’s books because their healthcare systems are years ahead of our shambles. I’ve had 2 CTs and 2 MRIs and not once has anyone bothered to contact me, I’ve had to chase my results, get passed round the houses, and become more anxious as a result of the lack of communication. Sort it out because thankfully I’m not in a life threatening situation like many people, but the NHS is an utter shambles and needs to be sorted ASAP or this country will lose valuable residents who will seek better care abroad. How we’re in 2025 and the NHS still have to communicate from the 50s and 60s with limited technology, ridiculous policies around the release of test results, and overpaid workers who complain about their workload when in reality the vast majority are theorists who can’t apply theory to practice - it’s embarrassing.

Unable to get a Dentist, all dentists that say they accept NHS adults when ringing them, they don't and they try upsell you private care.

ICB fails to do its job and fobbed me off. When I complained got no reply. The NHS has failed it's British citizens.

Newham University hospital staff nurse…

Newham University hospital staff nurse Maria speaking about elderly patients that they are in 'cuckoo land' that is disgusting! Are these nurses or just there for a wage! My mum was in that ward so this is DEEPLY OFFENSIVE. Newham Hospital sort yourselves out!

One patient rightly said to nurse Maria 'wait till u get to my age' the patient started to get deeply upset and shouted 'emergency emergency!' Maria was rolling her eyes at her and tutting at her. My mum was in that ward and she was talking about my mum to another nurse saying 'her' rather than addressing mum by her name or even saying bed number _. The nurse needs to be reminded what her job role is and if not leave and go sit at home!

This review is for Chorley hospital…

This review is for Chorley hospital only .
I was admitted to Chorley hospital, the word I was admitted to was Sellers Orthopaedic Ward.
My first impression when I entered the main entrance was how clean it was ,this was the same through to the ward.
Through out my stay all the staff was helpful and caring I would go to say it felt more like a Private Hospital.
Well done everyone you really made my stay very comfortable.

Absolute shambles and using the so…

Absolute shambles and using the so called patient experience team to cover up doctors incompetence. My son who is 9 and autistic has been treat appallingly by Durham and Darlington nhs trust. He has waited months for a procedure to remove a metal plate , and we have been constantly ignored. Complained to the so called patient experience team who just cover up doctors mistakes. The whole organisation stinks and doctors think they can treat patients how they want.

Avoid being ill in the UK !!!

The UK is the worst country for being ill in, long waiting lists for any treatment ( many have died ) and poor quality staff who couldn't care less about their patients. What good is it having free healthcare when it is non existent!!!

After 40+ years of being with the NHS…

After 40+ years of being with the NHS recently they don't have a clue on who I am......I don't know if it's a good thing or not...... however I have been trying to get on to the app to see my appointments but I'm now unable to do so without facial recognition that I don't want to do as it will influence the government scam/scheme of identity cards again something that I'm not doing......then I'll no longer use the NHS service....I have tried multiple different ways of trying to get it working but it all forces me back to adding a identity card with a video of myself again something that I don't want to do. I have emailed NHS that says I don't have to add facial recognition but I'm struggling to see a different way as literally everything pushes me to facial recognition. I have tried contacting my doctors but no.27 in the queue I'll try again later....... what I'm struggling with also is who do they think they have been seeing for the past 40+ years all of a sudden I'm not known or I need to prove my identity.......if I send a picture who are they comparing it to? I need to send a picture and a video of myself I could get anyone to pretend to be me ....I don't get it
