I am extremely disappointed with the quality of the flooring I purchased from this company. Despite being only two years old, the floors are already covered in nicks and showing significant wear. To make matters worse, they no longer even carry this specific product, leaving me with a 'cheap' result and no easy way to fix it. I strongly advise others to look elsewhere for their flooring needs. Save your money and find a different contractor who stands by their materials. Save the automated "please contact us" reply. I have already reached out and received no actual support. Your team has failed to address the damage to my floors or acknowledge the seriousness of these concerns.

This upcoming September will be two years since we had flooring installed. Called a week ago about a plank the was poping up. As of today they called back and stated that the warranty was only good for a year despite the contract saying its a five year warranty. Quoted almost 300 dollars to reattach the plank with our own material. The flooring system for a normal living room and small bedrooms was 8k. Never again and I will be reporting to the BBB and filing a small claims action immediately. Buyer beware. Your response doesn't change the fact you failed as a company to provide service to past customers!

The sales rep was very knowledgeable about flooring. He helped us with pricing. We love our new flooring. The installers were hard workers and did an excellent job. They installed 3bedrooms and hall and 2 bathrooms in 1 day. We were told it would take 2 but they worked so hard and got it done in 1 day. We are very happy we chose Empire Today.

I had empire install vinyl floors that were supposed to be top of the line, let them know that I have children and animals and a small farm so durability was a must. They assured me that their product was that and more and came with a "lifetime warranty ". It has been 6 years and the floor is coming apart at the seems and buckling on the sides, and there are even pieces breaking off. I contacted them and they sent someone to assess it after a couple of weeks back and forth. I was told then that they no longer use that manufacturer and that the entire floor needs to be replaced. Due to accesive wear and tear I would need to purchase new floors and contract with them. I am incredibly disappointed in this company and would NOT recommend them.

This is the worst company you can use to purchase flooring from. I purchased some flooring a while ago. They did not complete the job. They tore my baseboards up didn’t put the quarter round on the floor and now they’re refusing to complete the job. I’ve been going back-and-forth with one of their representatives, Charles Ogunwuyi who is a big liar, claiming that he tried to contact me to get the floor installed. I sent Charles multiple emails spoke to him on several occasions. I even waited at my house two times for the installers to show up to install the floor. They didn’t show up nor did they call to say they were not coming. Charles was made aware of the situation and I had him to pay me for this day of work. Now he wants to say they’re not gonna repair my floors because I didn’t respond to an email but your workers don’t show up for two days while I waited for them to come. I will not be taking advantage of by this company.

Do not be deceived by Empire's new TV ad. They are not professional and their product is inferior. We ended up going to Home Depot and we're very pleased from start to finish.

My luxury vinyl plank flooring was installed very poorly regardless of the high costs. Empire made a commitment prior to the installation that the floor will have warranty after the instillation. If any damage occurred with the floor, they will repair it. The reason they provided to justify the high costs. As horrible as the instillation was, the floor keep coming off. I called them to repair the floor, they told me to make a payment for that which I did not do and so the floor is still bad with all the money I paid for the floor. Their way of doing business is horrendous! I advice that customers stay away from empire!!

Since you came here to see what actual peoples' experiences are using Empire Today, believe the hundreds (thousands on some sites) of 1 star reviews you're reading. There are currently 1,544 complaints in the last 3 years just in Colorado Springs, per the Better Business Bureau. This is the worst experience you will have installing your new flooring and additionally the joy goes on and on. You may get lucky and your issue will get resolved. Don't bank on it though - as all these one stars will attest to. It's now in the Better Business Bureau's hands for me then a lawyer. They should be closed down but unfortunately people keep using and funding them, and they get away with it. (Thus, the lawyer)

Promised our doors would open in. Waiting now 5 months to have doors operate properly and at a additional cost of $1,600, $300 more than the flooring cost for a total cost of $2,900, quoted $1300. Also, seem to buy most of their supplies from Lowe's. Just go to Lowe's in the first place.

Had a great consult with Tom Sheffer. Installation process was good; however 1 hour after they left we moved our couch back about 3 inches and found a stain kind of looking like blood. Let them know the next day. Have been going back and forth with customer service for several days and we need to find our own steaming company, and they continue to say its our fault... Unfortunately can no longer recommend. Crazy to blame a customer after spending 7,000+ dollars...

This is the second time Empire has done my floors. The first time there were countless flaws for which Empire continuously refuse liability until someone from Empire viewed the work and advised that the work needed to be totally pulled up and redon, which puts us here today. After the first issue you would think that empire would send someone out to review the completion of the second job. No one has come out or reached out. The new job has its own set of new issues, such as split and unleveled floor boor causing splinters to bare feet. This is totally ridiculous for the money spent. I will be reaching out to the better business bureau this time. Something needs to be done,

If I could it would be a zero. 2 change orders on a simple install. They blamed the sales guy took no ownership. Sad company. I was told not to use empire but I already signed contract stupid me. The install was incomplete and crappy. You a real company next time

Customer service and the professionalism of the installers and salesperson was beyond what I expected.

Floor was scratched due to accidental damage and they said they didn’t cover that type of accidental damage since I drop something while moving it, this company is full of snake like tactics to get out of repairing things. Go with any other floor brand

The experience was outstanding from the estimate to the completion of the installation. Charles Caldwell was great and Vladimir and his crew did an excellent job on the installation. Their attention to detail was commendable and the finished product exceeded our expectations. We will recommend this team to anyone! Thank you for helping us with our flooring!

know not to ask people to sign papers for work that isn't finished. The contractor should also ask permission before they get too comfortable in a client's bathroom. None of them asked to sit on our toilets and handle their business. That is very unprofessional of them.
We repeatedly tried to reach Tim the salesman to resolve the issue. When he finally returned our call, there was no sense of urgency, despite the inconvenience we were dealing with.
What’s most frustrating is the lack of accountability. Instead of owning the mistake and trying to make things right, Tim attempted to shift blame. This situation exists solely because of improper measuring and poor follow-up.
I now understand why Empire has so many low ratings. I would not recommend them to anyone.
Update: they replied below to say "reach out to them". We've done that repeatedly. They deprioritized completing our project to go out on new projects. We are having to wait at least until Saturday until they send a team out to finish the job. First they told us Wednesday. On Wednesday they pushed it back until Saturday. We have no idea if they will show up or not. So I will keep posting reviews until they show up.
Update 2: Empire came back and finished the floor 5 days later on a Saturday. On Monday morning, we received a Completion Receipt that had my wife's name and someone else's signature. They forged her signature on the receipt. I don't know why they wouldn't just have us sign it themselves. These guys have absolutely no integrity. AVOID BY ALL COSTS

Dishonest company, salesman Brent Blazquez Jauregui, came out gave us an estimate for over-$10 K , said he will email it to us , he never did, we called several times and the customer service said they will inform him , still no estimate. He wanted to know how we made our money, what kind of car we drive, he was asking about a painting if it’s expensive, then Brent got angry when he realized we were video taping him and had cameras, he wanted us to turn off our cameras, we said NO, he said he have rights in our house, never turned off your cameras for strangers, always video with phone or cameras .SCAM AND FRAUDULENT COMPANY

We paid over $10k for LVP flooring in our house. Not even 9 months later, one of the planks began to rot up against the wall. After painfully requesting a rep come out and review the rotting plank, it took several weeks before they finally returned with a response. They were NOT going to honor the warranty and repair the damage, claiming that our 17 year old arthritic dog, who can barely hold himself up, must have clawed at the plank, destroying it. Absolutely despicable customer service and a complete violation of the warranty. I'd give them zero stars if that were an option; do yourself a favor and find another flooring company.
