Ablest Delivery Service
I wrote the following email to Emma on the 14th of Nov with no response
Hi Emma,
Yesterday my mattress was delivered by GLS to (our address), Dublin. Order number 0025-N62K2W.
The delivery driver was grumpy. He agreed to bring the mattress to the door of the apartments. He seemed very put-out, so I asked if he delivers mattresses every day. He said no, just for you. I said I ordered the mattress online without any idea of who would be delivering it.
I assumed like with previous mattress delivery experiences that the mattress would be carried upstairs with our old mattress then taken away. I was suprised by the low quality of the delivery service that Emma provided.
My main complaint is that the mattress was not brought to my apartment. It’s an ableist delivery service. I was born with a half an arm and I had to figure out how to get the mattress to the lift up to the 2nd floor, then had to push it to my apartment door. It was a real struggle with one hand and something I shouldn’t have to do. What if I was an elderly woman? I could have been injured.
Emma should work with delivery companies who are equipped to deliver mattresses. It’s assuming that everyone is able-bodied and has a front door. I am renting in an apartment block and I have a disability. It was a disappointing delivery service.

Moving to new house and sleeping on the floor, great
Ordered a Bundle 3 weeks before moving to our new home. Delivery expected in 7 working days, however, received an email saying it would be delivered in 2-3 weeks max 28/11/2025. I haven’t received any updated until today 26/11/2025 so yesterday I contacted the logistics company via email and got no reply. Today I have to open a ticket on Emma website and they said there’s been an issue with one item in Dublin warehouse, so they couldn’t deliver yet, it would take extra 6-8weeks. I asked if they could delivery the mattress without the cover, otherwise I would have to sleep on the floor. Unfortunately they can’t as they a system seems to be that archaic. They advised me to wait those weeks or cancel my order and make a new purchase just for the mattress, because they do have it in stock.. it would also be more expensive if you compare to the bundle price.. why haven’t I been contacted before with this issue? They waited 3 weeks, and I just got to know that because I was making contact! They turned my first week in my new home in a real nightmare. Refund will take up to 14 days. Now I don’t have where to sleep, no money back to buy a new one, and extremely stressed to have to find a mattress in 2 days, as I am moving on the 29th. Never been so disappointed with a company before

Refused to exchange item after they made a mistake
I purchased a double mattress and was up-sold on a pillow and duvet to go with it. They sent me a single duvet which is too small for the mattress. There was no option to choose size. It's obviously supposed to match as part of the deal. They wouldn't change it for a double because it had the SKU number of the single on the sales receipt. As if that means anything to a customer.
I contacted Emma support and they did nothing!
