Our 14 Yr old dog suddenly lost the use of his back legs. It was in the evening so called Emergency Home Vet. They sent out a lovely lady vet who thoroughly examined him and was given a choice of medication for severe arthritis and review next day but honestly the prognosis wasn't good due to his age and the issues that brings. I decided on euthanasia as that was the best for our dog who otherwise would have a very poor quality of life. The vet agreed and carried it out. Being at home made it so much nicer for our dog surrounded by his family. The vet was lovely and professional. Nothing was rushed and she made this situation a little more bearable and supported us all the way.

On 20/4/25 I telephoned Emergency Home Vet and although I was not advised that a vet would actually complete a home visit the next day - that is what happened. Joana is the vet that came to our home and she was fantastic with our dog Champ. She was patient, answered our questions, she carried out a test and diagnosed perforated eardrum and gave us medication for our dog. I cannot thank Joana enough for her professionalism and care. The company covers a wide range of areas. I would definitely recommend this company.
