Quoted for work I did not need, then rude unhelpful when not engaged for the job.

This company have recently completed work on my small detached cottage on the outskirts of Peterborough.
Having charged £120 for a home owners report they claimed many faults with the damp course and advised an expensive and radical solution. Luckily I had 3 other quotes, who all agreed that the issue was not so serious . One tradesman suggested that I start by fixing the guttering above the main effected area to stop ingress from above. I did this, and replaced 3 roof tiles. 3 months later the wall was totally damp free and passed damp inspections. I would not bother leaving a bad review had it not been for the rude and sarcastic attitude of the gentleman who came to quote, when he called back to ask if they had the business. I would reccomend avoiding this company.

This is a fake review & is currently under investigation. I have never worked for this person & evidence is being gathered to produce details of all work & reports carried out in February. This person (not using her real name) became aggressive the other day whilst I was quoting for her neighbour & my van was slightly, accidentky parked on grass (which wasn’t her grass may I add). She has then took the time to create a false review to try & damage my business. She has gone into my website to see I offer a home buyers dsmp report for £120. Her fake review also doesn’t make sense as she states I carried out work at her property but then did a report. A report is carried out in 1st instance to see what work needs doing before any work is done so none of this makes sense! She also then states I contacted her to see if I had got the business. I have never contacted a customer to see if they want to proceed after a report or quotation ever. This has been escalated & this person will be asked to produce evidence which she obviously won’t be able to do.
