Please DO NOT waste your money and time with this app. The Free apps are 20 times better than eharmony. They're trying to charge £500 for annual subs. The apps is so basis nothing different to the other apps on the market. Customer service is even bad too!

lol There is absolutely no harmony on this site. If you want to do a favor for your nervous system, mental health and of course your wallet avoid it like the plague!

I understand that all sites want to generate profit but some platforms like SttDate.com
actually provide some service, i.e. access to a lot of genuine accounts. However, the only purpose and motive of Eharmony is to make you spend heavily on something that has nothing to do with reality since all the accounts are AI-generated. They don't bother to bring in real people. It's a horrible, very corrupted company that I would never encourage anyone to join, even for kicks and giggles

Deeply Disappointing and Frustrating Experience

I was forced into a yearly contract and then was not allowed to cancel the subscription. Customer service is extremely poor, the phone number doesn’t work, and there is no real support when you need help.
This has been a horrible customer service experience and a complete waste of money. Based on how difficult it is to cancel and get any response, the whole experience felt more like a scam than a legitimate dating service. I strongly recommend avoiding eHarmony. Save your money and your time. eHarmony’s promises don’t match the reality, and the frustration simply isn’t worth it.

eHarmony is a total scam and fraud

eHarmony is a total scam and fraud. If you do actually get a match you are matched with people from all over the UK despite setting a distance limit. Also when you respond to the match invariably they don't reply. So obviously the matched profile is fake. I stupidily took out a one year subscription which I tried to cancel. But eHarmony refused to cancel all my future payments until the subscription ended on January 2027. So had to block 🚫 all future payments with Santander my bank.

The company has a 54% one star 🌟 review rating on Trust Pilot complaining exactly about the same problems that I have had with it.

Also there is currently a law suit in Australia against the company.

The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) is suing eHarmony for misleading, deceptive conduct and "subscription traps". The lawsuit alleges eHarmony automatically renewed memberships without consent, charged hidden fees, and made it difficult to cancel. Hundreds of complaints prompted the Federal Court case, which began in June 2025.

Hidden Costs: Consumers reported being charged for 6, 12, or 24-month contracts despite thinking they were signing up for shorter periods or that they could cancel, with fees often concealed until after payment details were entered.
Deceptive Marketing: Claims about "free" dating were highlighted as misleading.
Difficult Cancellation: Users faced significant difficulty cancelling, with some sent to debt collectors.
Case Status: The case began in the Federal Court in June 2025. Due to the legal proceedings, some users reported being unable to delete their accounts in 2024.

I'm not surprised to read all of this bad comments about this horrible disorganised dating app...

You must be ashamed about the service you are providing to the potential customers. Isn't contemporary and aims only to lucrate about people money. you can't offer a 14 days cancellation cooling time if afterwards you are charging 50 %of the entire annuality as a soft exit fees...
Someone maybe one day will regulate this unfair rule and start to think seriously to the customers money protection... the disgusting things that I don't really get is, that before communicate me that the cancellation was going true you attempted to take the money from my bank account and then comunicate the cancellation.... well done you guys, eHarmony I'll say eHurting... To staying polite even feeling are completely 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

SCAM! If I could rate it 0 star I would

I cancelled my subscription on the second day, within their 14 day money back guarenteed period. They proceeded to charge me a £55 cancellation fee and one month later, are charging me ANOTHER £53. Their customer service is absolutely appalling, you can't seem to speak to a human and just get repeated automated emails as a response! Avoid avoid avoid!

Bad dating site that will not let you leave

This dating site is just like the hotel California, once you are in you can never leave, inadvertently signed up and now they will take £17.90 every month for a year and when you contact their customer services to try and cancel the subscription they say sorry you signed up for a year and you can not leave, to make things worse, when you do try to meet women on there, have no luck there either. I’m on universal credit currently and £17.90
every month is a bitter pill to take. Bad company 1 star.

Avoid!

Avoid! Absolutely vile company.

I was going to subscribe but their system wouldn't allow me to enter my address or progress through subscription, I thought I'd dodged a bullet and walked away.
eHarmony unfortunately completed my subscription without my consent!
I DID NOT agree to terms and conditions nor did I subscribe!
Now I am being bombarded with threatening emails demanding 12 months worth of payments for something I didn't agree to.

Absolutely vile company, who's only goal seems to be to take advantage of lonely people to make money at all costs.

Please learn from my mistake, read the reviews on here, don't give anything to them.
They only have my email and a partial address, they even via email asked me to update my address to complete their records.
So apparently an email is all they need to subscribe you!

If I could I would have given them a zero rating.
I found the free access a joke with blurred pictures and unable to read profiles so thought I would upgrade.
Decided within the 14 day cancellation period that the site wasn't for me. I requested the subscription to be cancelled and requested a refund.
However what I got was a payment taken out of my bank account for a £65 charge for their personality profile questionnaire!!!
Complete rip off
