Affordable and lifetime membership

Based on the price EDUCBA is very cheap but the quality is not all that good. But that can be compensated by the thousands of courses if you buy a bundle for a lifetime. I use EDUCBA as a reference source. I find it disturbing that someone complains of the accent

At best - a waste of time and money. At worst - a scam.

I definitely regret purchasing a subscription through EDUCBA. I did so to take their CAP certification prep course (it has been the only non-INFORMS course I can find). The overall quality of the 8.5 hours I spent on the course were terrible. All the instructor did was copy text from the official CAP study guide and repeat it verbatim, only stopping to add "This is important. You must study this, friend." after every paragraph. I don't think the instructor has ever taken the CAP per his claim as he failed to provide any context, insight, examples, or anything else of value. Whole sections of videos are missing, and several times the instructor has blatantly incorrect slides (where the text is the same as the previous slide but the title has changed to a new topic) and he simply reads off the text as if nothing was amiss. I'm pretty sure I am now in a worse position to pass the CAP than from when I started.

I then expressed these concerns to customer service and requested a refund. I was surprised when my request was completely ignored, and they claimed they would need "2 weeks’ time to prepare a new course on CAP". That to me sounds like a company that doesn't care about its content and only wants your cash. My guess is they know that content like this is just rushed garbage and they are hoping users to notice or care.

Update - After a follow-up email to customer service I did receive a refund from EDUCBA, which came through in a timely manner.

As per your concern and experience with EDUCBA, we regret that we lose a valuable customer like you. As per your disinterest, we have already initiated the total amount which you will be receiving in a day. We tried to change the course content hoping you would take up this CAP course but wish to discontinue with our services and so we agreed for a refund.

User account compromised

Many thoughts to offer on the course itself but for now I'll limit it to this: my user account on this website seemed to have been compromised. I literally bought the course and logged in when only several minutes into the first lesson I was kicked out because, according to the website's message back to me, someone else had logged into my account. Was the error message wrong, or was my account compromised within minutes of creating it? Don't know, don't care, too risky to continue.

I can see it is bad courses provider.

I can see it is bad courses provider.

I have bought a course bundle through tecmint for python. here is why it is very bad :

1- the course instructor was unable to change file permissions using cli,so he used gui. This shocked me,as this course was for linux administration using python.

2- the instructor did some mistakes in a course for python developer, and it was very obvious he was reading from a paper. and he did some mistakes and wasn't able to correct it,so he ended the video and in the next video he figured out what was the wrong

3- audio quality in some videos have echos.

I don't recommend this website at all.

bad experience.

Too Good To Be True So...Don't Do It!

So I paid for something called the "Ultimate IT Certification Bundle" from another site thinking this would be a great thing; I mean $19 for ALL THIS! What a steal! And, yeah, that's what it is. The first course I took had to do with Computer Basics mostly because I wanted to know if anything had changed in computing since I starting pounding keys. The first thing that struck we was the presenter's accent which was pretty thick and it seems like she'd only picked up the script for the presentation moments before recording. Second, the presentation was, to be honest, pretty bad. Now, I've done my fair share of public speaking and putting together presentations in my lifetime but this...this was bad on an "I'm the worst person on a group project but I'm going to go on with it no matter how bad it is" scale. Misspellings, unnecessary periods, random spacing, and more. Oh, and the presenter was constantly having to close a popup window that appeared throughout the "lesson." Third, the lesson plan was everywhere with "computer history" modules appearing in areas where it wasn't optimal. Why not stick everything into its own module to create a more cohesive flow? Lastly, after every "course," you've got two choices to get your certificate: Pay another $19 or leave a review containing your full name and LinkedIn profile and get it for free. All this said, I was jipped into thinking something worth going for $2,349 then reduced to $19 was a good deal. Too good to be true? Yes, for sure. The thing is, I'd checked other training courses to see if the computer basics was but one experience, that perhaps other presenters would be more neutral and professional in their presentation. My search was fruitless, every course appears to be presented by thickly accented presenters flatly reading scripts while using PowerPoint templates rife with mistakes in formatting, grammar, etc. If you're looking for online learning, skip EDUCBA. As for me, I'm kinda glad it was only $19. I may try to access the learning at later dates but I'm going to find a more reputable place to help me up my IT knowledge.

Paying to Get a Certificate after Purchase?

I don't appreciate having to pay extra to get a Certificate. I paid for the course, why should I have to pay for the autofill Certificate? I tried the Free Way with a Survey, but my Cert. shouldn't be held hostage if I have paid for it already...

Absolute garbage.

Absolute garbage.

Paid for a bundle, received a bunch of videos (poor quality) which are narrated by somebody who barely speaks english and appears to be reading the information for the first time. Extremely unprofessional and of pathetic quality. Also, the "email us" link under support is broken. They have taken my money and I won't be getting it back.

Stay away.

They're bunch of scammers

They're bunch of scammers, i have purchases a training bundle and i'v been forced to watch first video so i can make sure it's suitable (they don't offer a preview for any video bundle) so i was forced to preview it by my self and i was disappointed by the low quality of the voice recording and the very basic information within the bundle when i ask to cancel my order they claimed that i have claimed the order and in that case is it not refundable!

I visited another review site …

I visited another review site (site jabber) which may be deleted from this post and always check the worst reviews because they seem to be the most honest in my humble opinion. Anyway I decided to give this company a go and created a trial account.

On the very first introductory video if that is indicative of the quality of the presenters, all I can say is I am glad I haven’t paid anything as yet and will not be. The presenter has a very heavy accent which in itself is not necessarily a major issue, what doesn’t help is the additional mispronunciation of words. This wasn't even a course I was watching!

This would not be the on-line training solution I would go for. If they improve the quality of their presenters it would go a long way to improving their rating. If however they decide to remove the free trial so you would have to purchase a course removing your choices that would speak for itself. I for one will be looking elsewhere for my on-line training needs.

Unable to access account - really bad customer service

I haven't been able to verify my account yet because the verification emails they have been sending me doesn't have an actual link for me to click on. I already emailed them on 09/26/2018 but haven't heard back from them yet. I have already paid but I can't log in to my account, not even grab a copy of the receipt.

This is the most unsatisfactory customer service experience I've ever had.

Extremely satisfied with the quality of course.

The course was detailed and precise.helped me a lot with the basics of excel from scratch. There were many formulas and tools introduced which helped me to learn about the excel sheet and workbook. The speech and method of explaining by the professor was very east to understand. Extremely satisfied with the quality.

Just wondering how many of the reviews…

Just wondering how many of the reviews are legitimate. Indian based company and Indian tutors. Most probably they just presenting stuff rather than knowing the subjects. Painful 5 minutes; I couldn't spend more. All courses I tried, all Indian based speakers. I think that's enough for one to understand what this site is. For the amount of money; 3000$ or something doesn't worth the money. Go for better options, edx is free, udemy has better tutors and professionals, and of course safaribooks and others. When I learn I need it to be enjoyable not painful trying to understand what one says in the video.
