don't add your card because after 24hr they'll charge you
WATCH OUT BIG BIG SCAM
I believed I was making a one-time payment of €0.60 to download a PDF, but without clear notice, it automatically enrolled me in a €59.90/month subscription.
At no point was it clearly communicated that I was starting a trial. I received no confirmation email and no reminder about the subscription.
The website, especially the “Download Now” button, was misleading and made it appear as if I was only making a single payment.
I have contacted my bank and disputed the charge, as I never gave informed consent for a recurring subscription.
You cant even stop the subscription your self.. BIG frauds!
SCAMMMMMMMMMMMMM
On 04.08.2025, I made a one-time payment of €0.60 for an online service. The website did not at all inform me of any subscription or recurring charges.
Despite this, my card was charged €59.90 the following day (05.08.2025), and again on 05.09.2025, without my authorization.
According to the law (dutch law) there is no contract between you and the company incase they didnt send you a confirmation after buying their service. Besides this, for online purchases we have by law a 14-day period to enroll you subscription and get a refund (as lo g you havent used the service). This company seems a scam, I got emails in Dutch with weird grammar mistakes. It seems to be a translation from an other language. You are eligable to get a refund of the 59.90 euros. Otherwise call you creditcard company.
When I used the platform, I believed I was making a one-time payment of €0.60 to download a single PDF file. At no point during the process was it clearly stated — in a prominent, transparent, and unambiguous manner — that this would initiate a 24-hour trial and automatically convert into a €59.90/month subscription.
Furthermore:
I did not receive any confirmation email regarding the start of a trial or the upcoming charge.
There was no warning or reminder before the subscription was activated and billed.
The site’s interface and wording are misleading, especially around the "Download Now" button, which led directly into the subscription without my informed consent.
I used Edit PDF Pro thinking I was making a one-time payment of €0.60 to download a single file. Nowhere in a clear or prominent way was it explained that this would start a 24-hour trial leading to a €59.90/month subscription.
There was no confirmation email, no warning that a trial had started, and no reminder before the charge. I only discovered the subscription after being billed. The design and wording on the site are confusing at best, deceptive at worst — the “Download Now” button leads users into a subscription without clear consent.
When I asked for a refund, I was only offered a partial refund despite never intending to subscribe. While I accepted it, I believe the entire process violates basic consumer transparency and should be reviewed by EU consumer protection authorities.
Be very careful before using this service. I do not recommend it.
