Everything about my house purchase and move was difficult and painful. With the only exception of Edinburgh City Removals.
They did a survey and gave me a quote at a very competitive price. They turned up when they said they would, packed up the whole flat very carefully and carried everything down four flights of stairs without complaining. Then delivered everything at the other end and even reassembled my huge wardrobe. Everyone was friendly and professional, the communication throughout the whole process was excellent.
I would recommend them to anyone looking to move. Many thanks to Tom, Abdul and the team!

Tom and his team recently moved me and my family from Edinburgh to Dunbar and were really helpful and professional through. All possessions moved carefully with no damage, all in all a very reasonably price for a very good service. I would highly recommend.

They were able to navigate our furniture through very tight spaces and they maintained a great attitude throughout. Edinburgh City Removals completed our move from London to Edinburgh just before Christmas (pre-tier 4). They were very friendly and kept to all of the timings agreed in advance. They worked diligently all day and the next morning to pack and load our things. Made the move as easy as possible. It was truly a pleasure to work with them. Highly recommend!

We have moved from Edinburgh to Kirknewton, from a 1 bed to a 3 bed flat(over 2 levels). There were 3 workers for the removal, 4 for the drop off.

The movers were extremely polite and capable and the company was very flexible in terms of date changes and also they were accommodating on removal being in the morning, and drop off in the afternoon.

The company was not flexible on the amount of things we would have needed to move, and there were several things left in the property that we needed to move later. In particular there was a bed that they could have moved but did not want to.

I want to add that nothing was broken, everything was cared for and the movers were on time both on removal and drop off.

We are delighted to recommend this company. They moved us from a 1st and 2nd floor flat in London to a 1st floor flat in Edinburgh and held our stuff in storage for 2 weeks as our completion date had been put back. We had boxes and boxes of books and heavy wooden furniture - we also had sofas that had to be lowered out of a window in London. At both ends of the move: the teams were incredibly efficient, hardworking and friendly even moving us into our flat in Edinburgh on a Saturday at 7pm with smiles and good humour. Nothing was broken or damaged. Tom answered all our questions promptly and kept us updated on the time of the removal vans arrival. They made a stressful time far less stressful!

Tom the operations manager was really helpful in the run up to the move answering any last minute questions we had. The team at Edinburgh City Removals were excellent to deal with in leading up to our house move. The information was clear and the quote for the service was very reasonable.
A few days before the move, I realised we had more items to move than was previously discussed yet this was not a problem for the team and the extra items were added without any issues.
On the day, the team arrived promptly at the agreed time and were very efficient with packing up our items. The team were also very careful with everything and I am please to say that nothing got broken during the transportation.
I would definitely recommend them for your house move! Thank you

We would like to express our thanks to the Edinburgh City Removals's team for the great job they did during our removal. The situation was very challenging just at the beginning of the lock down in France. They managed to execute the move in a very short lapse of time and delivered all our belongings safely in Paris.
