THEY HAVE LEFT TWO 86 & 87 YEAR OLD FARMERS IN THE COLD FOR WINTER!
MY REVIEW IS BELOW THE POINTS I'VE RAISED AGAINST THEIR REPLY.
1. Today they've tried every trick in their book to get Trust Pilot to delete MY review. Didn’t work.
2. NO APOLOGY WHAT SO EVER IN THEIR REPLY, SAYS IT ALL!
3. Sensitive information about my own properties? IT'S SURVEYS OF OUR PROPERTIES, Looking at taking legal action to retrieve them.
4. They requested private information in a non secure email system.
5. Funding. They knew their funding was going to be pulled some time ago, and they hopefully thought they could secure more funding . Hence whenever I contacted them about the plans they pushed the application down the road. Stopping me applying at other companies with excuses.
6. Soon as the trouble started I REQUESTED ALL COMMUNICATION BY EMAIL, As I didn’t trust them, I wanted everything in writing plus as a working farmer it's dangerous keep getting mobile calls. But they still tried to call me constantly, also leaving messages. HARASSMENT!
7. I LIKE TO KINDLY REMINED THIS COMPANY I’VE NEVER USED ABUSIVE LANGUAGE, NOT ONCE. I HAVE ONLY REQUESTED THE REPORTS. JUST THAT MAYBE YOUR COMPANY LIKES TO CONTROL THE NARRATIVE. LIKE PHONE YOUR NUMBER TO COMPLAIN...GUESS WHAT....? YOU GET THE SAME PEOPLE. OWNER ISN’T AVAILABLE.

To be frank I’ve kept my calm.

This companies affiliate advertised in the spring to Farmers in a farming magazine. My 87 year-old uncle wanted a new heating system. He has cancer and it’s now getting worse. My Father is 86 years old has lost his leg and looks like he’s about to loose his good leg.
As you read in the companies reply, no apology to my uncle and father, nothing, just them defending their own horrendous performance. They have the reports on the properties they just want to look after themselves not the customers they have dropped in the cold. Feel free to look on Facebook also, SURPRISE SURPRISE, THEY HAVE NOW DELETED THEIR FACEBOOK PAGE, STILL CONTROLING THEIR AWARD WINNING NARRATIVE!

Terrible company. 5 months of sitting on application. Then without warning they pull the plug.
ASKED THEM TO GIVE SITE REPORTS OF PROPERTIES SO OTHER COMPANIES CAN DO INSTALL. THEY REFUSE LEAVING TWO MEN IN THE COLD! HORRENDOUS.
NO DATA PROTECTION FOR APPLICATIONS.
Promises made and broken.
Not a company anyone should be dealing with.
I have all the communications from this company.
I will be contacting the authorities with all the communications.

UPDATE COMPANY WANTS TO KNOW IF I'M GENUINE?!
THEY 100% KNOW WHO I AM.
JUST ASK HEAD OF SALES! SHE PUT THE PHONE DOWN ON ME TWICE BECAUSE SHE WON'T BE SPOKEN TOO LIKE THAT. UNKNOWN TO HER I RECORDED THE CONVERSATIONS AS I DIDN'T TRUST HER, WHICH PROVED RIGHT.
THE DEADLINE OF ECO4 IS END MARCH 2026. SO AFTER 5 MONTHS OF SITTING ON THE APPLICATIONS THEY'VE PULLED THE APPLICATIONS WITH OVER 4 MONTHS TO GO.
I ASKED FOR REPORTS ON THE PROPERTIES THEY WON'T GIVE THEM.
THE HEAD OF SALES TOLD ME IF YOU WANT TO COMPLAIN ON SOCIAL MEDIA AND ALSO THE AUTHORITIES REGARDING DATA PROTECTION I WAS TOLD TO DO WHAT I MUST.
DIDN'T CARE, NO APOLOGY, JUST ANOTHER NUMBER, WHO CARES ABOUT TWO FARMING BROTHERS IN THEIR MID 80'S.
AS A GOODBYE FROM THE HEAD OF SALES SHE WROTE 'ALL THE BEST' IN FINDING SOMEONE ELSE TO DO THE WORK. SARCASTIC, WHILE SHE SITS ON THE REPORTS OF THE PROPERTIES AND WON'T HAND THEM OVER. (TOM THE OWNER MUST HAVE INSTRUCTED HER NOT TOO) SHOCKING BEHAVIOUR. UNPROFESSIONAL TILL THE END

I’d highly recommend this company to anyone considering upgrading their boiler insulation, solars. honest, efficient, and truly customer-focused. Faultless from start to finish Great work!

An extremely friendly, reliable and efficient company. We didn't realise how much care would go into our installation service and we would recommend them again and again!

After months of waiting for answers to simple questions on quality assurance, warranties, project plans and site welfare the team involved has gone quiet and the only communication I have had is to say they have tried to contact me and I have not replied. This is wholly untrue and the company who have been assigned to the job just want to come in, do a smash and grab and collect on the cash. I have lost all faith that this can be done without accepting that they can do the job in a backwards process and do internal wall insulation then come in and install trunking and surface mounted pipes and think this is acceptable. Maybe for some this would be OK but with no guarantees for their work or products used it isn't for me. The funding has been signed off months ago and I would love to know how much has been drawn down when nothing has been done.

May I add this review was initially posted on the Rural Saving Energy Grants Trustpilot page but due to the lack of communication by Eco Providers I didn't know that it was them(Eco Providers) this should be addressed to, my contact from Rural has called me and spent an hour on the phone with me this morning and I can say that the complaint is in no way addressed to them(Rural Saving Energy Grants).....

THEY REMOVE ALL 1 STARS SO HERE WE GO AGAIN-
I’m genuinely perplexed by all the glowing reviews, to be honest. We’ve been in contact with Eco for several months, during which we were explicitly advised that we qualified for the work to be completed entirely free of charge under the grant scheme due to health-related circumstances.
Following this, we had our home assessment — which, I must say, was carried out by a very competent assessor — and were once again assured that there would be no costs whatsoever.
Fast forward to now, we were suddenly informed that we would need to make a contribution of £4,000. We were told to expect a follow-up call last week, but no one ever got back to us. After reaching out ourselves today, we’ve now been told that our contribution has somehow increased to £6,000.
At this point, I feel deeply disappointed. I had naively assumed this was a transparent and reputable company operating under the government’s ECO scheme, but it’s become increasingly apparent that these so-called “contributions” are simply a means for the company to generate profit.
After doing some further research, I’ve discovered multiple reports from other customers who’ve experienced similar situations — from unexpected charges to substandard workmanship, including flooding issues, roof damage from solar installations, and heating systems left completely non-functional.
It’s disheartening to see such a lack of integrity from a company that presents itself as part of a government-backed initiative meant to support vulnerable households.

This company have no customer service skills. Their organisation is poor. A job that should have been 4 days turned into 6 weeks and then the issues that arose have not been addressed or resolved despite numerous calls and emails. Emails sent to managers and the CEO and no replies received. The workmanship is poor and they do not put your house back as they find it. Carpets left wrinkly, nails sticking up, floor boards loose.
Appointments made for engineers then they do not turn up. Think twice before using this company.

The Burhouse family team were very considerate and protected the carpet etc really well. Mind you, they got bacon butties for being such good workers.

These guys were awesome from start to finish. Super friendly, easy to deal with, and they really know their stuff. I love that they actually care about doing things the eco-friendly way, not just saying it. Everything was done quickly and properly, and I’m really happy with the results. Definitely recommend them if you want great service and a company that actually walks the talk on being green!

It is a year this month since Eco Providers started work on our 17th century house. What a transformation! We have gone from having oil central heating, coal, wood, fan heaters, halogen heaters and oodies (and still being cold) to a warm, cosy, clean environment. We are delighted. Electric costs have proved to be higher in the colder months to negligible (due to the solar panels and batteries) in the warmer months. The insulation definitely makes a huge difference and the constant hot water is a bonus. Many thanks to everyone involved: Steve, Morgan, Martin, Graham, Mark, Todd, Brad, Brett, Anthony, Sam, Ben, Jimmy, Richard, Chris, Jimmy, Dion, Ryan, Andrew, Danny, Tommy, Liam, Adam, Matthew (and anyone I might have missed). It was a pleasure doing business with them! Hopefully, we have seen the back of miserable winters!

Jodi gave me a call back with regards to the ECO4 scheme, regrettably I didn’t fall under the government requirements. Even though this was the case, Jodi spent extra time with me explaining what other options I have available. Through no gain to herself she gave me all the advice I could have asked for. Anyone who takes the time to do that in today’s world must take pride in the service they offer. Very professional, thanks again Jodi for all your help.

The workers involved with my project have been very good and I'm really happy with the end result. Dealing with the office is a nightmare. Promises of call backs are forgotten and that's assuming you can get in touch. Warning of workmen coming was last minute, thank goodness the tradesmen did a good job.

Fantastic workers, 1st class and an excellent job done by the lads from eco providers. Steve,Jay and Charlie took around 4 days to insulate the cottage and were amazing with my elderly parents and explained every step to them. House was obviously a mess when they were here but it was spotless when they left. We would recommend to anybody.

EcO employees were hard working,honest and did a very professional job over a three week period.I would like to thank Sean,Harley,Paul and Ryan for outstanding support and committment.

Been contacted by Vincent, and I think he will agree I was a bit sceptical, but as soon as I got past that and Vincent gave me the information required, I was very pleased to except there offer, they took the information required, did a survey and short while later I was contacted to have my loft insulated and a new boiler installed with a few extra things done to make my house eco friendly.
I would definitely recommend this company for the above .. very worth while.

Applied for ECO4 Flex upgrade work via a company called Energy Saving Genie, who in turn paired us up with Eco Providers to do the actual job.

Basically they had a property with an ancient solid fuel system which was on its last legs, and they've turned it into a brand new heat pump system, new radiators and even solar panels.

With such a big job it required many different guys travelling long distances, and making quite a number of trips to completion. But they've done a sterling job, as have all the various office staff that have been involved with all the communication and organisation etc.

Very happy with Eco Providers, more than happy to recommend them.

Fantastic service installing insulation which was not easy but overcome without any issue and delivered expertly by Stewart, Dave and Andrew over the past 4 days with a smile. I have to admit that over the past 50 years that I have worked with crews in the Civils Industry they are one of the best I have met and worked with.
I would recommend them highly to any of ECO clients.

I can’t fault this company at all. From the teams that did the installation to the people in the office (Dan King). I would highly recommend anybody thinking of doing this not to hesitate contacting them. Was very smooth from beginning to end. Very happy.

The installation lads, Simon, Ian & Brad were also amazing. Very considerate & their work was outstanding. I’m really happy with the finish.
I was dreading the mess & upheaval but I shouldn’t have. Everyone treated the house with such respect & protected all carpets & furniture.
Once the work had been completed the house was left without a single trace of them being there.
Can not recommend this company enough.

We have just had internal wall insulation completed. It’s in our 1800’s farm house. We had recently had new carpets and we were dreading the mess! The whole house was sheeted and the floors protected, not a single bit of damage. Stu, Dave and Andy arrived and from day one were beyond exceptional. They have treated us and our home with kindness and care. Nothing was too much trouble and they have paid attention to so many details which have improved our home and helped retain some really important features. I cannot recommend them highly enough and we miss them being around already! Thanks lads for everything you are an asset to Eco providers and they are very lucky to have you.

Air source heat, plumbing and electrical work installed. Both teams were professional and produced a high level of quality work.
