Ecolab sucks as a company and a business. They do not care about people or businesses. All they do is try to put other companies out of business due to corporate greed. They are not there for you. Only about the money. Look at their reviews. Speaks for itself.

ECO Lab South Jersey are the MOST…

ECO Lab South Jersey are the MOST incompetent people I’ve ever worked with in my life. I’ve asked them to change my home address more than 8 times as I moved an entire year ago, yet each month I receive an invoice that has been forwarded from the old address or an email invoice with incorrect address at the top. Good luck getting help with anything. You have to kick and scream and only then do you get half assed service. The company is a joke.

An infinite cycle of phone calls and missed numbers.

Ecolab "provides" service for the dishwasher and other appliances in my shared living space. We have had, for nearly a year now, problems with the dishwasher malfunctioning, leaking, or generally not working as intended. We attempted to contact them on multiple occasions. Often no one picked up the phone when we called. If someone did answer, they would provide us with a different number to call or transfer us to someone who ostensibly, could help resolve our problem. These new numbers either did not pick up the phone or were followed by further transfers until we were met with an unending cycle of Ecolab servicers and employees. I have had better customer service from scam callers. My suggestion to those looking to have Ecolabs repair a machine is to simply learn to do so yourself because, no matter how complex or specific the problem, that is likely more efficient.

Unacceptable Customer Service

ECOLAB is impossible to get ahold of, and when you rent a machine from them expecting them to service it when it breaks down, (it has been leaking since October), communication is important. I rarely get a call back from anyone there. I can't even email them. I get a fatal error message from their end saying access is denied. and when I tried customer service, they told me they can't give out personal information. Personal? it is one business to another. I don't want a personal email, I just want to be able to send an email to their ecolab email because talking on the phone doesn't get me anywhere.

Dishwasher rental- TERRIBLE CUSOMTER SERVICE

Didn't service our rental commercial dishwasher for 12 months. Then when we installed another one, they wouldn't disconnect us, sent us to collections, and still haven't picked up their dishwasher. TERRIBLE product and customer service. The new dishwasher we installed uses much less water and chemicals.

Totally inept A/R Dept.

My company purchased abou $900 worth of dishwashing products from Ecolab and promptly
paid the invoice. Many months later, I started getting past due invoices. 4 different times over the next 3 years had to deal with this clueless co, each time providing all payment information, including emailed cancelled check images.

Poor management of sites

Poor management of sites, clearly not doing what they promised to keep sites pest free. I have seen Rats running around during the day and all bait boxes are empty, full of cobwebs and not tied down. Just visit M&S and McDonald's site in Twerton! Rat burrows and rats everywhere. This review will stay as 1 stat until the situation has improved. I will monitor the site monthly.

Absolute WORST company to deal with

Absolute WORST company to deal with. They love to cash our checks but never apply them to our account and a month later you're getting calls from collections because their AR department is absolutely USELESS. No matter how many times you call and provide them proof of cleared checks they'll say they didn't receive it.

The absolute WORST customer service

The Ecolab account team, including management in Houston is the absolute worst. They don't return phone calls and it always takes repeated phone calls and escalations to get anything done. On top of that, they are rude. The absolute worst!

Ecolab territory managers lack organisation

Ecolab territory managers lack organisation and seem overly laid-back. It's been over three weeks, and we're still struggling to obtain our chemicals. Frankly, I believe a six-year-old could manage this position better than this. Sad to see that big company like Ecolab, going down like this. Time to wake up CEO.

Poor follow up service

Had been a customer for 25 years but the last year we had no rep for our territory which was part of the contract .They use to come every month to service the 25 year old machine now its only if I call and then its when they have a rep to come out. In 2024 they started a minimum product purchase of 200.00 /per month along with the rental fee of 147.00/month. I am a small restaurant and can not do that You decide for yourself if you want to be one of their customers.!!!!

The most trusted source for pests…

The most trusted source for pests control company is ECOLAB. I know ECOLAB for long time because I work for Dennys for 20 years long. I work at 6920 south Fri road in Katy. I never have seen any hard working person name Toni and so honest with huge respect and courteous. Mr. Supervisor Eric walker watched him his entire time what he had been working. This is called a great Boss. A big hand for them and there great job. Shafi. Katy.

Poor communication

Poor communication. Ghosting. Rep and corporate is not responsive to the multiple people from my org trying to reach out to them. I cannot get ahold of them to get training information after my company purchased the training. Cannot get ahold of them to get the refund due to not responding or allowing people from my company to begin training.

We leased a commercial dish machine and…

We leased a commercial dish machine and it was the worst vendor experience in 25 years of business. We never received chemicals that we paid for and when the tech came to remove the machine he damaged our plumbing waste lines on out of pure laziness. The sales rep made many false promises and the corporate office was no help at all.

Stole our dishwasher deposit

Stole our dishwasher deposit after we returned the equipment. Started ghosting / ignoring us completely, top down from sales reps to customer service people. If you get a hold of them they'll say they're going to send the money then they never do, and become unresponsive.
