Although our central heating did not work when we came to switch it on this was eventually found to be due to a manufacturing fault with the ashp.
Eco Footprint's fitters were very efficient, well-mannered, tidy and competent workers.
I would particularly like to thank John who got us up and running and also Michelle Slack for keeping me updated and returning phone calls and emails promptly.

I recently contracted Eco Footprint Limited to install Solar Panels and batteries and a Mitsubishi Air Source Heat Pump to my home. From my first contact with Eco Footprint Limited I could feel the professionalism behind this well accredited company. My initial sales contact went well and was clear and informative. House survey followed which was very thorough and detailed. Compliance was next carried out by Jo. I was impressed and signed on the dotted line without hesitation.
From signing and paying a deposit, I was introduced to Michelle who was appointed as my Customer Service Specialist. Michelle was great and was my contact between the office and contractors. A great liaison officer.
The installation is complete, minor issues ironed out. The overall experience was very good.
I do not feel on my own with all of this new technology and equipment as I know the team at ECO Footprint are right behind me and only a phone call away.
I would have no hesitation in recommending Eco Footprint limited to anyone seeking greener solutions to their home heating and renewable energy programs for the future.

Update 16/04/24 - I finally received the handover pack with the relevant certification and warranty.
Upgrading my rating from 1 to 2 stars while awaiting full resolution.

As it stands, I do not recommend this company as the after sale care is non existent.

We had a heat pump and radiators installed end of Oct 23. Although the system works (we get heating and hot water) it is not currently fully working. Two rooms get barely any heat (including my home office where I spend 8 hours per day), and the open plan kitchen/seating room can be very cold due to high heat loss.
Overall we are dissatisfied about :
- EcoFootprint not having sent a single engineer back after having had issues for three months - radio silence from them - Inacceptable.
- The EPC report. I was not impressed by the company used (Apex) - they didn't check the cavity wall insulation or the loft insulation. Given the radiator sizing was based on that EPC report, I understand now why our main living area doesn't have adequate heating, as it was not properly checked.
- They didn't send a handover pack, they just left us to it after the installation
- We were supposed to have a slimline cylinder to fit a specific area, but were sent a normal cylinder - so we had to revise the plans and we are now unhappy where both the internal system and the external pumps are.

The whole experience from start to finish was smooth and well explained. Every single person I dealt with was kind, informative, professional and friendly. Michelle who was my personal coordinator was exceptional, extremely friendly and personable. She was there when I had questions and sorted everything quickly and efficiently. I would highly recommend this company.

Excellent service throughout! Arrived promptly, ensured all carpets were covered prior to starting work and kept everywhere clean and tidy. Had the full installation of heat pump, hot water tank and all new radiators up and running in 2 days. Super friendly and great communication from the office.
22/02/2024 We have had the heat pump in for just over 2 months and have had a couple of issues. The main one was the probe in the hot water tank wasn't fit correctly so the tank was heating up constantly, meaning we had no heating. Nev talked us through prohibiting the hot water to allow us to use the heating till he could come out which worked, we just had to manually switch it on and off to heat the water. Our bill through January was twice as high following this.
The second issue was losing the WiFi signal, even though everything else in the house worked fine. We eventually managed to resolve this ourselves.
The main reason for amending my score isn't the heat pump, when it works it is brilliant and there can always be teething issues. Getting someone to fix it is the problem, all very friendly in the office but the after sales care is abysmal. We are still waiting on a reply to our email about the WiFi from 25th Jan.
Would I install another heat pump, absolutely! From this company? Absolutely not. Stay clear.

Absolute disgrace. From installation to 2 years down the line. Workmen rarely showed up, sometimes for an hour due to ‘other commitments’ or just hungover, their words not mine.
Kitchen solid wood worktop was damaged due to carelessness with tools, severe leak in the dining room after installation.
Repeatedly sent out a guy to make repairs who just had heart surgery and couldn’t do anything. Sent the same contractor out who couldn’t work out what the problems were. Had a newborn in the house and left with temperatures between 7 and 11° last winter. Took over a year to send a competent employee out and replace piping and get the heating to work as it should.
2 years down the line I have asked countless times to have someone out as the boiler reads -39° so heating is on permanently. This means our electricity bill stands at £120 A WEEK right now.
I am promised callbacks, each and every time, which obviously never occurs.
All this for a £15000 installation. Avoid.

Eco footprint installed air source heat pump almost 2 years ago. Only problem one wet joint that had been dripping onto lounge ceiling that took long time to show.
All sorted now.
I changed from smelly old oil central heating no regrets , can recommend installing one especially if linked to solar panels with battery back.
I have not had a bill for over 12 months.

If I could give this company a minus it would be minus 10. Absolute cowboys who lie and cheat. Absolutely no interest in listening to the issues they have caused. Don’t even think about expecting an emergency response when the week old heating system fails - twice within one day. They do not care about you,

Looking for full solar panel system online, only ECOFOOTPRINTLIMITED contacted me to arrange an appointment, explaining what we wanted we were SIMON The consultant showedus a map of our roof with solar panels on top,and given a quote for the full solar panel system to be installed. I contacted them to accept and proceed with the installation, had a survey done, we had our utility meters changed before installation began. On 5th October 2023 our solar system was being installed by professional company. A special thankyou to GEMMA,JOE,RICHARD and there,ELECTRICAL ENGINEERS CHRIS,ROLAND, for a job well done, and also roofer,MATT who installed solar panels but also did an excellent job of digging out a trench for the cables to be underground and refitted the block paving for us.WE DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY. We're just waiting for paperwork to complete.

I contacted ecofootprint with a view to installing an airsource heat pump when recent vastly increased charges for electricity made it very costly indeed to run underfloor central heating throughout my comfortable, medium-sized flat after downsizing from a nine-roomed terraced home in a parallel street. From the outset I felt that I was dealing with a serious, professional company employing engineers rather than simply salesmen without any qualified technical background. It later emerged that it was not possible to install such a pump and I had to resort to having relatively standard oli-filled radiators installed in its stead. Nevertheless, I still feel very positive about this company and readily wish to endorse ecofootprint's methodology and serious customer service as everyone involved in the attempt to help provide the system for me has proved their integrity and commitment to providing great support. I wish everyone who has helped me all the very best. I feel sure that they will continue to provide such serious commitment to other prospective customers. Alan

Our ASHP installation commenced on the 24 October and from start to finish it went incredibly smoothly despite the obvious difficulties due to the amount of furniture and belongings in the property.
Joe and Joel arrived promptly and worked incredibly hard, stopping only occasionally for the odd sip of coffee. Despite my negativity they found a route for the pipes in order to reduce the amount remaining visible downstairs in the main living area.
They were helpful and courteous throughout and explained exactly what was happening as work progressed. Checking to make sure we were happy with their recommendations before they carried them through.
Working late into the evening they checked to make sure everything was in working order. Also explaining how to bleed the radiators and how to react in the event of certain issues which may arise.
Despite the late finish, in the rain and the dark they ensured the property was clean inside and out taking all the unwanted packaging and pallets with them.
They were consummate professionals and we would not hesitate to recommend them to friends and family.
From our project manager down to the company delivering the product the whole thing was delivered with military precision.

We have been very pleased with the help and support that Eco Footprint has given us from start to finish. Mark was excellent with advice and listening to and answering our questions on the initial assessment.Gemma has been amazing with her patience and sorting out any issues and questions we had throughout the installation. She has gone above and beyond to ensure an excellent outcome. She gave us a 5 star service and an asset to the company. Joe has also been excellent as our Customer Journey Specialist helping to sort any teething issues.
Great team effort on all sides including the electricians who fitted the inverter and battery. Superb service , very professional and took pride in their work.

Recently had Solar Panels fitted by Eco Footprint. Whole process very efficient from the salesman, assessor and installers. The installation went particularly well with all the different tradesman friendly and helpful. It did take a few days for the rubbish to be collected and much longer for the registration to be completed so I could sell energy back to the grid. Not sure the registration was all Eco Footprints fault.
All-in-all very happy.

I paid £175 for a heat pump survey after an initial sales visit. I should have realised things weren't right during this first meeting, when I was told an 11kWh heat pump would be satisfactory for my 4 bedroomed, 150 year old solid stone house. Previous surveys had identified the need for a 16kWh heat pump, not only that a heat pump that actually needed to deliver 16kWh.
The survey went ahead and a compliance visit arranged. Unfortunately, the Compliance visit had to be cut short as it was clear the report being discussed as inaccurate on several counts, again saying an 11kWh system would surffice when it obviously would not.
The weeks went by and I made serval telephone calls requesting my "accurate" report. Numerous promises about its availability were made but nothing materialised.
Finally, I requested a refund for the £175 paid and after a further refund request, I received a report. It was OK but amended documents like the EPC were not supplied. They did form part of the initial inaccurate report. The recommended heat pump was now a 16kWh but I don't believe it was capable of generating the full 16kWh, which is actually required and other heat pumps will do.
I assume, the running cost of just over £6000 was given to ensure I didn't follow my enquiry further with Ecofootprint.
I have to say, the performance, professionalism, quality and accuracy of the information supplied was second class when compared to other heat pump installers.
My advice would be to do your homework, get at least 3 quotations and read up about future developments in the industry sector. There's a lot happen in this field and shockingly, Ecofootprint weren't aware or able to discuss the innovations which are due to revolutionise heat pumps in 2024/2025.

My ASHP installation went so smoothly.
Terry provided me with all the information I needed to decide to go ahead with the installation.
An independent surveyor came the next day to confirm the size of heat pump and radiators that would be needed.
On the third day Richard came to agree the confirmation of the system. My installation was booked in for the following Thursday & Friday.
Joe from Ecofootprint, kept me informed all the way through the process as to what was happening and when.

The installation was carried out all in one day, including the electrical work.
The installers Reece, Conner & Harley arrived at 8.50 and worked together to complete the work. Cleaning up as they went.
The electrician (sorry I can’t remember his name). and Reece went through how the system worked with me before leaving. They finished the installation at 7pm on the Thursday.
The only thing that they could not do was brick up the hole where my old boiler was. They made the area secure before leaving. They phoned the office to arrange a bricky to come to brick the wall up.
The bricky Scott, came the following Tuesday to brick the hole up. Again, he left his area clean & tidy when he left.
Every person from Ecofootprint that I dealt with were professional and courteous.
The heat pump makes very little noise and I have plenty of hot water. I look forward to seeing how effective the radiators are through the winter.

The installation was carried out in one day and was followed by the electrical work the day after. The installers arrived at 7.50 and worked so hard to complete the work . No mess! The electrician took lots of trouble to find a route for the wiring that would not be visible, which I really appreciate. Both teams were so professional and courteous. The electrician checked that everything was working before he left.
Wish I could remember all their names as they deserve recognition.
The heat pump makes very little noise and I have masses of hot water, unlike my old combi boiler. I am feeling optimistic that my house will be warm in the winter. I have no hesitation in recommending Ecofootprint. The whole process was so quick and easy.
