The complete tour was well organised in terms of hotel accommodation, guides, transport and itinerary. The road journeys were not too long and the laces visited were well sought out.
The Makutsi Safari Park was a good choice and provided an experience to remember.

My husband and I just got back from an amazing trip to Chile and Peru, all organized by Eclipse Travel, and I honestly couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out. The whole journey—from Santiago and Valparaíso to Lima, Cusco, the Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu, Lake Titicaca, Arequipa, and the Colca Canyon—was packed with unforgettable experiences.
Eclipse took care of everything: flights, hotels, private and shared tours, transport, private and shared guides, even travel insurance and help with our visas. We had only one little hiccup with a pick up, but otherwise it all ran super smoothly, and we never had to stress about logistics—just enjoy the trip.
Huge shoutout to Matt, our travel designer, who was awesome to work with. He really listened to what we wanted, answered endless questions and made sure every detail was covered. The organization, attention to detail, and overall quality of the tours were top-notch.

The suggested South America itinerary ideas were very good and the way the travel was connected also excellent. We had pick ups with English speaking drivers/guides who were excellent.
Whilst on holiday I feel sick and Eclipse were very good in arranging flight, hotel, pickup changes quickly which was greatly appreciated.
Eclipse E-data was also very good and easy to work with.

We had a fantastic time, especially in Botswana at MmaTsebe Tented camp…what an experience to be so close to the animals.

This trip was a long time coming. Started planning pre covid for 2021. We all know what happened. 4 years later and many variations we were on our way.
Everything worked very streamlined. Local operators were very attentive. Very pleased we went with the upgraded internal flights to Premium Economy ( as suggested).
All our questions before and during travel were answered in a timely manner.

The overall experience was great

My husband and I had a great trip in South America for 31 days in May 2025. We were able to visit many countries and see the varied landscape in each country and also had varied experiences.
Eclipse Travel deserves a five star rating and a big shout out to Meike, who was extremely helpful in planning the itinerary and great in communication especially regarding visa application process. The itinerary and various options of tours from Eclipse Travel are marvellous. We will happily refer friends and family to Eclipse Travel and will use Eclipse Travel for our future travel plans.
However, we will only give our experience a four star rating because there are experiences that affected the rating. The transfers and guides were mostly punctual, seamless in most places except in Macchu Picchu where more instructions should be given regarding the meeting.point of the guide when you alight from the train in Agua Calientes. There’s a massive crowd leaving and one can exit right or left. As a result we didn’t see the guide and had to make our own way to the hotel in the evening. Our other experience is a guide who woke up an hour later than his clients on the last day of Ulyuni tour and sitting in the very back seat of the Landcruiser for two days of unsealed roads and climbing in and out with the various stops can be trying especially for my husband.who is taller.
Despite these grievances, overall experience was great and it was an adventure that we would recommend .

Tiffany organised an incredible 1 month itinerary for our group of 6 friends across multiple countries and 5 game park stays. Everything went so smoothly, the accommodation was great and the wildlife viewings were mind blowing! This was our first visit to southern and eastern Africa and it exceeded all our expectations.

At every step along our journey we were supported. There were no unexpected surprises, we alsways felt safe and the arrangements made for an efficient and enjoyable time. The knowledge and backup of Eclipse staff and their organisation of all our needs meant our time was happily spent enjoying the experience, not losing sleep over details.

All the guides and drivers were warm, and accommodating. Safety was always prioritized. Even with unexpected schedule changes due to local issues, they were able to give us a good experience.

From the day we left, to the day of our return from our African trip, this was an exceptional experience. Ours was a private tour to accommodate some mobility issues and the meticulous planning from Eclipse ensured that all of our needs were catered for without fuss. Our accommodation was more than comfortable and all of our pickups, transfers and internal flights plus our individual guides were excellent. We would highly recommend the services of Eclipse Travel, especially for their expertise in arranging African, Antarctic and South American trips, but really for any travel needs.

My recent trip to South America which was organized by Meike from Eclipse Travel was excellent. I was originally going to travel with my husband, but it ended up that I was a solo 66 year old female traveler. I must admit to feeling nervous about this venture on my own but I was determined to go. I was not disappointed and have returned home with many treasured memories. Apart from visiting some fascinating countries the itinerary and standard of accommodation were excellent. There were numerous transfers and flights which all unfolded as scheduled and everything was remarkably well coordinated. I did the Hummingbird small group tour for the first 3 weeks, then spent another 2 weeks travelling alone incorporating the Amazon jungle and the Galapagos Islands. The only part of the trip I did not really enjoy was being alone in the old city of Quito due to feeling unsafe. However, I was able to organize a local guided walking tour as well as a taxi to take me out into the country areas and I returned safely each day to my hotel. The Galapagos Islands tour was at the end of my 5 week trip and the highlight (as Meike suggested it might be). The group tour was however excellent and our guide Adrian from Journey Latin America was outstanding.

Matt and the team were excellent. We were well informed and taken care of throughout the entire booking process. Could not recommend more highly.

I believe it could have been better if we spent more time exploring the islands and waterways rather than listening to the guide who was very good, but spent too long time telling us about where we were and the flora and fauna rather then letting us explore where we were for longer. The guide could have used the nights before the activities to tell us about the flora, fauna and geology of what we were doing the next day. That would have meant that we could have had more time to explore when we got to the land or to snorkel or swim.

This was our second trip with Eclipse Travel. A wonderful itinerary created for us. The ground operators employed by Eclipse were second to none! Everything went like clockwork. Majority of the accommodations were good and fit in with the level of comfort requested. Only one complaint and that was the date arranged for our tour of the Brazilian side of Iguazu Falls - Easter Sunday - not good! Enormous crowds and crush, which spoilt the day for us. This could easily have been avoided by our arranger holding off until the Monday, which was not a public holiday and therefore no crowds. Overall, a fabulous trip and highly recommend Eclipse.
