The worst biased service ever!!!!
My friend sold an electric crafting machine on ebay recently. The buyer sent an email to her private address claiming the machine did not work, and not fit for purpose. The machine was and is in full working order. As the buyers initial contact was by private email, all further communication was through this method. On the basis of 'not fit for purpose', ebay have suspended the sellers pay pal account and told her she must stand the cost of the machines return. On speaking to them, ebay claim that under the online selling rules the buyer is entitled to return the item as its not suitable for her needs, therefore not fit for purpose. Additionally, they won't comment on the statement sent to them by the seller. As the buyer has used the machine and its not faulty and is a second hand item you would expect the buyer to have to suffer the consequences of her own buying errors. Not at all, it seems that ebay have a very biased view and have reached this decision based only on 'not fit for purpose' by the buyer who initiated the private emails. There is no appeal facility in this circumstance. Words can't describe how appalled I am with this service. So, sellers BEWARE of EBAY!!!!
ebay is linked with paypal
if you buy anything from ebay, which I have done and trusted over 7 years, now you have to pay the seller over pay pal. Paypal gets all your cc/dc details, address and steals every single bit of money first in small amounts, that you don't notice, until its 3000 every 2 days for points for a treasure game??? .
paypal has taken 3000 every month from my account , my husband´s account and his company account. we have had to cancel all credit cards, so embarrassing for my husband and me, if we go to a restaurant we have to pay in cash
.
Great
Ebay is a great site, fun and good buys. Yes things go wrong but I have always found ebay understanding. I love it!
Easy to be scammed
I bought a Ralph Lauren bag in London 2 years ago and loved it but it got stolen on a French subway. Not the subway snadwich though. Ugh. Anyway I bought the bag and the bottom was like cardboard underneath the material that wass falling apart and the RL logo was printed on as a badge as if it were from Vistaprint or something. Should of bought it in n RL London store. And again French customer service wnet into denial.
