I have a Laptop eBag now for over 7…

I have a Laptop eBag now for over 7 years and the bag is bullet proof. I decided to add a new eBag to my travel luggage and ordered from Amazon the Luxon bag. Received the bag this week and the very first zipper I used to open the main compartment the zipper came off in my hand! Brand new bag. I would avoid any products from eBag they are not the same company. Called eBag customer service and got no help. They told me to go through Amazon for any complaints. I returned the bag and will be ordering a new bag from Ogio. Seems they have been bought out by Samsonite, now I know why the poor quality and customer service!

Limited warranty is worthless because ebags does not care

This company claims to have a limited lifetime warranty against defects in the workmanship of the product. The problem is that when I attempt to contact them via telephone, email, or Twitter nobody replies. I have been trying for a month now. A warranty is worthless if the company behind it does not stand by its word. Essentially, ebags is a fraud when it comes to customer loyalty and service.

Gift certificate code does not work…

Gift certificate code does not work online. Emailed without a response. Called customer service. On hold for 12 minutes and system hangs up. Horrible service. No product is worth this. I can't imagine what would happen if I had a problem with a purchased product.

Most dishonest company I’ve ever dealt with!

I have purchased multiple EBags for ourselves and friends and just had my first issue—a wheel came off on our last trip. I sent all of the info as requested and heard nothing. Finally called and after being on hold for 30 minutes was told that I can’t prove it was a manufacturers defect so my warranty is worthless— but she offered me a whopping 10% off on a new bag!!! Will never do business with them again!

Ebags used to be wonderful, now terrible after Samsonite acquired them.

I started with eBags years ago and loved both their luggage and customer service.

Recently I filled out a form on the website for replacement parts for my spinner bag that is not rolling well anymore. I included the purchase date, order number, and the name of the bag. Despite this, every support email asked for this same information again. Every time.

These responses looked like they were mostly generic cut and paste answers for warranty claims rather than information pertaining to replacement parts.

The problem is that my spinner bag barely rolls anymore. I had hoped to purchase some new wheels for it. Finally, CS convinced me that a warranty claim was the best and only path forward. When I emailed the photos they asked for to pursue it, they stopped responding. Before sending her those photos they had been very responsive once the communication began.

I had been very pleased and impressed with eBags' products and services for years now and would never have thought about buying luggage from any other brand. Now, sadly, it seems it is time to find a better vendor.

Read the reviews here - all the positive ones are years old, before Samsonite acquired them. The new reviews are all very similar.

DO NOT BUY FROM eBAGS!!!!!!!!!

On June 6, 2022 I returned a new, never used bag from eBags and they received it on June 7, 2022 - ONE DAY! I have yet to receive a refund and it's been 9 business days. The rep I spoke to told me it takes up to 28 BUSINESS DAYS to receive the refund. TWENTY EIGHT BUSINESS DAYS! WARNING: DO NOT BUY FROM eBAGS!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mother Lope Backpack

On the 19th of May, 2022, I ordered a Backpack (Mother Lode Travel) Backpack from Ebags, the order number: Ebg35219990. The order was placed after I had read the reviews from several customers (supposedly) about how good them item is. However; I doubt, those reviews are from the REAL customers.

Few days later, the Backpack arrived and to my greatest surprise, it was a PIECE of trash. I immediately contacted Ebags and registered my dissatisfaction with the item. Through an e-mail and over the phone, I was instructed on how to return the item. The next day, yes next day after I received the item, I returned the Backpack through the UPS store.

On the 26th of May, 2022, Ebags received the item as the tracking record showed. After not receiving my refund through my Credit card, I called Ebags to know why my Credit card has not been credited. In response, Ebags confirmed receiving the bags, but that its policy is to process the refund after 14days has pasted as is listed in its RETURN POLICY guidelines, else they will NOT process the refund

Today, it is way past 14days and Ebags has not credited my Credit card. At the time of writing this complaint, the charge is already accruing interest on my Credit Card, yet I have returned the item to Ebags over three weeks ago.

Please DO NOT buy anything for this company. They are thieves. Obviously, holding-on to customers' monies for weeks is where their profit is coming from, as the customers pay INTEREST on monies they do NOT owe.

Order canceled but still charged

My order was canceled without notification and they still charged me, then ignored multiple phone calls and emails from me asking them to refund the charge for the canceled order.

4 communications later and no response while I am out $120. I will never use this company again.

No communication

I placed an order last week, and have yet to receive a confirmation email - but they had no trouble charging my bank. When I try to reach out, there is no live chat (despite the website saying it is available during normal business hours), and when I call customer service there is a recording that says "sorry we missed your call" and then they hang up. How do I get a hold of these people???

No customer service

I placed an order on March 2, 2022 and received the item on April 14, 2022. Sent several emails to customer service with no response. Finally contacted UPS because the item in tracking showed it was sitting in the same location for 30 plus days. UPS opened a claim because I never received the item. e bags NEVER contacted me or attempted to answer my customer service emails. I had a hard time locating a phone number but finally found one and received my purchase 44 days after. No explanation or apology from eBags I do not recommend purchasing anything from them. There are many options out there with actual customer service.

These reviews are all 100% accurate

These reviews are all 100% accurate. If there is even a small chance of needing to return this bag for a refund, forget it. I returned my bag over a month and a half ago. I gave them the benefit of the doubt for a week or so. When they didn’t refund me, I emailed their customer service. 3 times now. Crickets. I’m feeling pretty confident that they’ve decided to just take the money and run. Do not buy from them unless you are 100% confident that you will keep the bag, regardless of satisfaction or quality.

Never shopping here again.

I am currently on hold with ebags customer service, and have been for 45 minutes. I have also emailed the company and tried to work through the website to initiate a refund. I am very dissatisfied with the product - it was not at all as it was described and I want a full refund. On the website I discovered it will cost $14.99 to send it back. My first ebag purchase, and my last. Really unhappy with the product and the service..

Absolutely the worst company I have ever dealt with . They keep canceling my order for a backpack that is listed in stock and they give no reason for the cancellation. I finally got through to customer service and they said the mailing address on my credit card didn’t match up with the address of the credit card. Then how come the packing cubes I ordered with the backpack went through but not the backpack? Ridiculous. I will never buy anything from this company ever again.

The worst e-commerce experience ever

The worst e-commerce experience I have had in years. I want to return a bag which came in very different than the description, and there is literally no way for me to do so. The online option isn't working as the bag is still showing as in transit according to their site even though it delivered weeks ago. There is no phone number to call. It says there is chat, but there is none. I have sent 3 or 4 messages and none have been returned. I have found a call center number via google search and it just never gets answer then hangs up after about 10 minutes. I can't believe this company is owned by Samsonite. eBags used to be great but stay away now. Worst ever

Ebags used to be a great company. And then, Samsonite purchased them. Terrible Customer Service. I have been trying to get a return label for 4 days. The website link for returns does not work. Customer Service phone number (not listed on their website), has long holds and has disconnected my call 2 x. I will never purchase anything from this company again. RIP Ebags.
