Been with them for over 20 years now, no complaints. Nzb diwnloads are great and the web search facility is really handy to find things. Look out for cheap deals with searching tho , as you can sometimes get the full package for about £60 for the year.

I am with Linux. With Easynews I have no problem with the annoying par and par2 files. Easynews is number one for Linux.

Been using it for awhile now and it's great

The web browser looks like it was designed in 1984 and acts like it sometimes too. Old and clunky. Not really usable. Site would be 5 stars if the web browser wasn't so bad.

The nntp is decent but I found that it does not give me much more than my account on a different backbone provides me so I may not be renewing Easynews next time.

To begin with, their billing system is really bad. I had to email support multiple times to get it right, and their system asks you questions to verify your identity that it should not be asking.

Their emails claim to "help you find content" but what they are really saying is that they have a lot of copyrighted content on their servers and they want to help you download it. I really wasn't prepared for just how much of it there is. A ton of porn. I guess since I usually use usenet for nntp stuff, the web browser they have that lets you stream this stuff was an eye opener for me.

Edit: as you can see, they sent a canned response asking to help, but unless they are going to change that all their old content is just low quality porn, I am not sure what they can do.

Works seamlessly. Very easy to use.

Service is great, however, updating payment options after billing is a bit of a pain, as the service does not resume automatically, have to call Customer Service.

Fantastic retention, amazing speed and reliability. I've used Easynews for many years and they consistently provided an excellent product.

Article retention and completeness (sic) is excellent. The online 'Advanced Search' facility sets Easynews head and shoulders above the competition. Additionally, the ability to select files to create an 'NZB' file, and/or to compile into a downloadable .zip file, multiple files (in the 'Advanced Search' facility) is, AFAIK, functionality that is unique to 'Easynews'.

I would say what made my experiences with Easynews is the wealth and size of its image base. I can usually find what I am looking for with ease.

The service is amazing and it always works

I love getting stuff from usenet from your https search instead of needing a newsreader and indexer. The speed is great as are the results!

Where else but at the best usenet service in the world, Easynews, can you find literally an entire collection of the world’s multimedia files under one roof. And that’s such a bare scratch to the surface of their content, it’s mind-boggling to think about. The website is easy to navigate, the Tech support is prompt and efficient, and Oh, did I mention there’s a price for any budget as well!

I'm not sure I've ever had problems with the service. The help documentation isn't great and in the past I just had to google and try to figure things out on my own. Some of the help docs/pages won't load or say it's a bad URL. I have emailed support once or twice and received a response within a day. I love the fact that Easy News gives you access to an unlimited VPN account for several concurrent devices.

I get a lot 404 errors anymore. Not sure if this is your fault or not, but it's probably just copyright issues. Would be nice to see less of those at any rate. Other than that I get great speeds off the site and the search engine is always spot on.
