DO NOT BUY AN EASTWOOD WELDER

Welder broke after less than a month of use. We've now spent over a month trying to get assistance, following up daily with them, with absolutely zero resolution or semblance of effort on their part. We are a business who was evaluating their welders as a potential option to switch (meaning I was hoping to buy 20+ of their top end welder if the quality and support were at least reasonable), and we have still been treated poorly.

Price on Facebook ad was not honored at checkout. Company representatives gave an excuse that they cannot control when the ads run. I know for a fact this is not true. And even if it were true, you should put an expiration date on the ad. Otherwise this is a bait and switch. As far as the welder goes, I have only tried the arc mode so far and it appears to work well. You should offer an assortment of tips either with the welder or as an accessory.

I bought the Eastwood 2x2 plasma table…

I bought the Eastwood 2x2 plasma table last year & though it took me a while to understand how to use it, Once I had it figured out I really enjoy building parts with it. Much better than the Langmuir table I used to have which I could get no support for. last week one of my stepper motors broke & Eastwood sent me a replacement immediately, got it in two days. Had my machine up & running in 10 minutes! Thx guys..l.you Rock!

Very poor customer service and return policy!

Ordered the HotCoat® 100kV Powder Coating System for $999.99 and it was missing parts. Called the following morning and asked for a refund and was immediately sent an RMA but no shipping label. That evening still now shipping label so I called again and was told the one that issued the RMA will have to send the shipping label and she would message her to send it. 31 hours later still no return shipping label. So they have over $1000 of my money and I don’t know when I will get it back.

They don't actually ship anything or communicate. Don't buy from Eastwood.

I ordered a small bottle of touch up paint and clear coat and had my order confirmed on 2/17. The next update I got was 9 days later when I got an email saying my order had shipped. When I received the order the next day (I'm also in PA) it was just the clear coat. Frustrated, I went to their website Sunday 3/1 to see why my order status now just says it was delivered when all I got was clear coat. Today, 3/2 I receive an email saying my touch up paint is delayed for another MONTH. This is stupid, it's touch up paint and this company had multiple chances to reach out and let me know that before simply sending the clear coat and not mentioning I would not get my touch up paint. Now I wasted almost 2 weeks waiting for nothing. Don't buy from Eastwood, they will screw you around. I will never buy from them again and I'll probably just accept the loss, leave this review and throw their paint in the garbage. If I ever even receive it. Thanks for scamming me, that was real cool.

Ordering

Ordering, I’m directed to a coupon and go through all the directions for $10 off, I get to check out and it says I can’t use it on my order, whatever. I get the items fairly fast and in the box with the application wand the plastic tubing is broken in pieces probably from the cold weather. I have some more flexible tubing around and it might work okay but I might need to go out and find some other stiffer stuff. Not impressed!

Goog service and quality products.

I've ordered from Eastwood numerous times for both materials and tools. My experience has always been that they ship quickly unless the product is out of stock, and even then they notify me of the situation quickly. There products are constantly of high quality and are good value based on price. I have used them for powder coating supplies and finishing products. I especially like the Rust Encapulater Plus and the Chassis Black product.

Horrible company

I ordered a 2 cans of epoxy primer on the web site it said order with in so much time and will be shipped by 28th. I ordered the part, went online 3 days later to see if i could find a tracking number and still said processing so i sent an email to the customer support center, was told i should have something by no later than Thursday or Friday. It’s been almost 2 weeks and have got nothing from them. I called and the phone number they said “ sorry for the inconvenience the best we can do is waive the 10% return fee. Not only are they miss leading and lying to their customers but they still want to act like they are doing you a favor for their crap for customers service. I wont recommend this company to any one if they treat their customers this way imagine what the product is like.

Do not shop here, not worth the trouble.

I ordered a House of Kolor paint, and another item. paid with a credit card, and was charged immediately.

Within a week Eastwood claims they don't have the HOK paint in stock, and had to back order the other item. No problem, I asked to have the order canceled.

They never refunded the money completely and said I still owed $50. After a few useless phone calls spanning at least three months I turned the matter over to the BBB. Several weeks later Eastwood sent me a letter saying they have my unclaimed property, and I have to send it back so they can pay me what they owe me. so that's another hoop to jump through for products they NEVER had in stock, and a refund that could be easily taken care of online.
This is by far the worst customer service I have ever gotten within the automotive comunity.
