The positive:
I rented a car, it had four wheels, it started and drove.
The rest:
Guy behind the counter had no manner.
As I had a debit card, I had to provide extra forms of ID, proof of address, proof of employment. Apparently because I'm a debit card holder, there were going to be extra charges. I reserved a VW Passat Estate for 128e, but ended up paying almost twice that for a Dacia Duster (not an estate).
There was a young family ahead of me who were having a similar experience. They had been dealing with him for over an hour by the time I had arrived, and said he had been nothing but rude to them.
Being a generous, judicious individual, I thought that maybe we had caught him on an off day, as everyone has those. Then I read some of the reviews on here, and it seems that I had the same experience as so many other people: rude and gruff, and extra charges being tacked on for some reason or another.
For context, I live in Cork, and was by myself. If the experience was that stressful and unpleasant for me, I can only imagine what it must be like for someone who is not a native English speaker, that had just gotten off a long flight with young children in tow, and then had to deal with the most unhelpful individual imaginable.
My guess is that he is the manager/franchisee, as that can be the only reason he's still there. Will see if I can get in touch with head office to report him, as he would be far better suited to sitting in a back room polishing the car keys than dealing with the public.
Beware! No savings here$$$
By far, the worst car rental experience I have ever had. The so-called airport location for Dallas/Fort Worth, was actually in Irving, Texas and required two separate shuttles and about an hours time to get to. Once arrived one had to discover and sign up on a paper list to rent a vehicle, even though I had completed all the information previously online. The vehicle provided had dangerously worn tires that I was assured woud be okay by the agent. About an hour down the road, the airbag restraint and tire pressure lights illuminated. The airbag light never shut off and a tire professional and AAA service associate noted the tires were beyond repair and required replacement. This cost me $300, plus hours of time trying to reach Easirent, only to have them tell me I was responsible for replacement of their worn tires!! Buyer beware!!
Good service but long waiting time for shuttle
The shuttle waiting time was really long compared to the fox shuttle but we think that is because we got it in the airport and the booking appeared in their system after 15 minutes. Then we found Jacqueline who attended us in a professional, nice and understanding mood, she gave us recommendations such as the distance and the insurance in case that something happens and she was really cool. The place and bathrooms were cleaned and their smell was nice, and finally the gentleman who pick us up and drop off us was nice and helpful. The only reason of the 4 starts is the distance between the airport and the rent place and the long waiting time for the shuttle (20 - 30 min) at the airport in Las Vegas, Nevada.
This car rental 7224 harry hines blvd
This car rental 7224 harry hines blvd. Dallas Texas deserves no star at all!! They gave me a filthy car and the front end vibrates when driving it. I went to take it back for cancelation they said they was still going to charge me for the remaining rental days and refused to change the car. So I was stuck with a filthy broken car for the weekend flying in from Florida!! I will NOT be using them for future rentals. Nothing easy about rental from them.
Very disappointing experience
Very disappointing experience. I was given a rental car with almost an empty fuel tank, showing only about 50 miles of fuel remaining. No professional rental company should hand over a vehicle in this condition. I had to immediately search for a gas station, causing unnecessary stress and inconvenience. I also tried to contact the rental office, but no one answered the phone. This level of customer service is unacceptable. I will not rent from Easirent again and cannot recommend this company to others.
Easily the worst rental experience I…
Easily the worst rental experience I have ever had. The lot isn’t where the rest of the cars at the airport are, you have to take a shuttle. Fine. That shuttle took an hour to show up, which isn’t great in Arizona heat. When trying to call the office to inquire about where the shuttle was nobody answered the phone. Then the agent wanted to charge a $30 late fee for being late. When I disputed she took it off like she was doing me a favor. The car I received only had 1/8 tank of gas. No apologies or concessions given.

The employees were pleasant and helpful; however, the vehicle was in poor condition. It had a horrible smell that overpowered the air freshener. Additionally, the windshield wiper fluid was empty, so I had to stop at a gas station to clean the windows. Overall, this was my first time renting from Easirent, and it will definitely be my last.
Never Use at Cork Airport.
Never, ever, ever again will we use this company, based on our experience at Cork Airport. We were picked up by a nice Ukrainian chap from Easirent, from the terminal, and driven to their office, which was quite a bit further away from the other, regular, rental companies. On arrival, we were met by a Scottish guy who, from the outset, was uncooperative, unhelpful, attempted to bully us, and the other young couple who were there, into buying extra insurance, without any explanation, just the repeated raised voiced statement, 'I'm telling you, there's no insurance on that car.' After checking e-mails, both ourselves and the young couple found confirmation that our hire car insurance was in place beforehand. He even then claimed we needed more and demanded our credit cards. I don't know if this older Scottish man was on commission, had mental health issues, or was getting off on bullying customers, but he was easily the most unprofessional representative for the company you could imagine. Even the nice guy who picked us up, changed in his presence. The Scot was domineering, incorrect and never explained anything he was raising his voice about. I'm checking my bank statement daily to ensure there is no theft involved, as that was the impression he gave us, and the other young couple, it transpired. Stay safe and avoid using these people at Cork Airport. I can't speak for other locations.

In a nutshell:
Overall He puts himself over the best interests of the customer.
Great experience with the employees trying to meet expectations of the customer
NO CARS AVAILABLE
NO CARS AVAILABLE. 14 PEOPLE STRANDED. AVOID EASIRENT.
Do not book with Easirent through Booking.com unless you enjoy showing up to find zero cars and a lobby full of frustrated strangers.
I booked a Nissan Altima or similar (Reservation #716459958) for a 36-hour trip to Phoenix, AZ on June 24, 2026 — a tight, time-sensitive itinerary where every hour counted. I arrived at Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport at my confirmed 11:00 AM pick-up time. There were no vehicles available. Not one. I counted approximately 14 customers waiting at the counter, several of whom had already been there for over two hours with zero resolution from staff.
I had no choice but to leave. I couldn't afford to wait indefinitely with no ETA on when — or whether — a car would appear. I spent the entire trip relying on Uber, incurring additional out-of-pocket transportation costs that I never should have had to pay.
I paid $89.12 for a service that was never delivered. That is not a cancellation. That is a failure to fulfill a confirmed reservation.
To Easirent and Booking.com: I am formally and publicly requesting a full refund of $89.12, plus reimbursement of the Uber costs I incurred as a direct result of your failure to provide the vehicle I booked and paid for. I have all receipts. If this is not resolved promptly, I will be escalating to my credit card issuer for a chargeback and filing a complaint with the Arizona Attorney General's consumer protection division.
To anyone reading this: book elsewhere. A confirmation means nothing with this company.
Great cheap option
Great cheap option. Our shuttle driver was super helpful and professional.

The man at the counter in WPB was very courteous and helpful. We had a great experience renting from Easirent. The car was great. We highly recommend renting from Easirent.
The car was rented from Dublin Airport…
The car was rented from Dublin Airport and it was in very poor condition. The tire pressures had not been checked despite a warning light. There was No road fund licence so a ticket was issued during our rental and on our return the company just threw it in the bin. They hold your CC insurance deposit for an inordinate amount of time after the vehicle has been returned, checked and approved. The booking agency (in my case VIP cars) weren’t interested in intervening to get the CC hold released. Defiantly not recommended

First class friendly and helpful service. Thank you Paddy
They stole my bag!
They stole my bag. I went to drop off the car at the Ft Lauderdale location when I realized that one of my bags was not on me I went back to retrieve it and guess what??? It wasn’t there anymore. I’ve tried calling the customer service to get connected to the Ft Lauderdale location and kept getting transferred to the call center in India. They kept giving me the same number.
Worst experience ever
They charged me $80 for a pre pay toll that I did not use, they did not return the money. Bring you Car insurance!!! I was charged Three Hundred dollars for Cary insurance. They did not allow me to use my girlfriend full Cover Car insurance. They did not Explain me that there it was a less expensive option, The staff was very aggressive, and they were not willing to accommodate and help Customer satisfaction. Too bad for them because now I’m going to Florida tomorrow, and I will not use them again. The Car Was Not clean. It has only half tank of Gas Previous Car Gas Tank was empty. Renting with them was a bad Experience. I recommend bigger companies that provide better service and Help. You to get a better deal and help you to save money..
Review of Easirent Service and Performance
Since Easirent is offsite of the Airport rental center the expectation is lower rate. The quote will be lower, but be careful of the add-on (such as proof of insurance)
• Easirent is offsite of the airport rental center the pickup site is outside (Not good for Summer pickup). Their shuttle doesn’t appear run a predictable schedule. My visit there was only one shuttle but I was told they two shuttles but one was out of service.
• Note, return the car with plenty of time to the airport terminal. Add for the shuttle time to the rental center, airport tram from rental center to the terminal, and TSA security check point.
• Easirent shuttle was late returning to the rental center and the customer has a tight window for flight boarding time. The only help from Easirent staff was call an Uber if you can’t wait for our shuttle.
• Easirent does allow travel out of state (read the fine print)
• If you are local suggest reading the fine print because there mile limit per day.
• These are issue I have not encountered with the standard car rental companies.
Can you give zero stars
Can you give zero stars? This is the worst experience I've ever had renting a car. Rude staff. Gave me a car with almost flat tires. Never received the final invoice. Called for the invoice and ask for something in return for giving a car with flat tires. They hung up on me. Oh, and also never answered my email via "customer service"

Fred is an amazing guy he gets you in there sets you up and is good at explaining everything this was my first time renting and I’d go back everytime appreciate you Fred!
Terrible experience
I would have to say it was probably one of my worst rental car experiences. I travel a lot and I was really surprised at how slick their website is and how inefficient their process is. It’s an offsite location which I understand you’re gonna go for value over super high-quality but the speed of checking out I landed and it took me an hour and a half to land, go the site to get my car and leave.
They were over 10 people waiting to get checked in and get their cars one or two people checking people out who had check the person in and then get the key and then go out and get you the car. Not super efficient when I finally got my car it was and I mean filthy doesn’t look like it’s been washed in months. I can hardly see out the window or the rearview mirrors on the outside. I ended up taking it to a car wash myself just cause I couldn’t believe how dirty it was.
When I got back to check my car back in, the shuttle driving left as I was checking in my car(I thought he might wait) and there is only one. Giving the 10-15 drive there and then back I got a ln uber and paid $20 for a ride back to the airport
I’ll tell you it as not worth the discount. Never again
I will say the people we trying…but there is nothing easi about renting from Easirent
