More than Lego resale a store serving the community
I have seen firsthand how this locally owned Lego resale store is moving toward becoming a nonprofit (already Iowa State approved). Their mission is to use Lego resales as the vehicle for employing and training the neurodiverse and other people who are at-risk employees to develop skills to make them employable. Their website says it well: "Our mission is to serve as a community hub that meets diverse needs, from providing a fun work environment to offering educational programs and outreach opportunities. " At DuBrick, we believe in using bricks to build not just amazing creations but also hearts, minds, and lasting connections within our community. " This is an ideal place for human development.
