Traveled from the US to Istanbul for surgery. Was a little worried on the plane ride over but upon getting a consultation and seeing the clinic I knew this was a top notch facility. The staff was fantastic and transplant clinic was state of the art. Follow up was prompt and transportation from airport and hotel was great. I would highly recommend Dr Aygin's clinic.

I am absolutely thrilled by the professional service I got at this clinic—from start to finish. Once I contacted the clinic online (from the US), my liaison via WhatsApp and phone was Jessie Turkel. She is the best of the best in professional customer service. From the first message to the last, she was patient, particular, and professional. I asked many questions; she never lost her patience but took the time and trouble to respond promptly, precisely, and completely.

The staff at the clinic was knowledgeable, professional and friendly, from start to finish. They made me comfortable, answered me to my satisfaction, making sure to allay any of my apprehensions or concerns.

Lastly, the logistics of the entire operation was flawless and like clockwork: airport limo pick-up and drop off, hotel stay (included in package), drives to and from hotel and clinic. The drivers were very courteous and compliant, as were the interpreters. I never felt frustrated or lost.

Had it not been for Jessie’s seamless handling of every detail such a processes’s logistics dictates, from pin to elephant, none of the above would be possible to start with.

Excellent experience, veey happy to choose Serkan Aygin's clinic, the doctors, nurses and all the staff were pretty helpful and professional. Even the after care team, I get feedback for any question in short time.

I had been searching for the right clinic for over a year and eventually found Dr. Serkan Aygin online. Initially, I had some doubts about how the process would go. I had an online consultation with Julia, which was helpful overall.

On arrival in Istanbul, I had to wait around 30 minutes for my taxi, which was a bit disappointing. I was also not satisfied with the hotel provided. It was described as a 4-star hotel, but it was an Ibis hotel, which felt quite basic, and there was a noticeable smell of cigarette smoke throughout. I believe a better hotel could have been arranged for clients. I would rate the hotel 1 star.

That said, the procedure itself was excellent. The clinic was very clean, well-organised, and staffed with a large and professional team. The technician who carried out my procedure, Ahmad, was outstanding. The entire team did a great job and deserve recognition.

The following day, my dressing was removed and I received the necessary aftercare treatment. I am now on day 8 post-procedure and, overall, I am very satisfied with the service provided by the clinic.

My journey began with seamless communication from my account representative, who handled every detail before I even left home. I chose to arrive in Istanbul a few days before my procedure to explore the city. The clinic’s transport team was punctual and professional, making the transition from the airport to the hotel effortless.

The hotel provided by the clinic was a highlight—not only was it clean and incredibly comfortable, but its location was perfect for quick access to the clinic and local sightseeing.

From the moment I walked in, I felt in expert hands. The entire medical team was deeply knowledgeable and took the time to answer every technical question I had. Communication was never an issue, as the interpreters were completely fluent in English and stayed by my side throughout.

I had 4,650 grafts transplanted using the **DHI (Direct Hair Implantation) technique. Seeing the success of my five friends who also chose this clinic gave me total confidence, and seeing the precision of the medical team firsthand confirmed I made the right choice.

Departure

Even the final leg of the trip—the transport back to the airport—went off without a hitch. The coordination was flawless from start to finish.

I done research online and Dr Serkan Aygin really stood out for me. I had a great experience at the clinic. I have had a hair transplant before in the UK, but had heard good things about the quality in Turkey. After doing some research the Dr. Serkan Aygin clinic was the one I chose. The service was extremely professional the whole way through, walking me through the procedure I would have, giving extensive information about post care and answering any questions I had. The staff were very effective and friendly.

For the actual procedure, it was super efficient, I felt safe and looked after the whole way. I also chose to have prp and exosome treatment after consultation.

I am only 3 days post operation, so can’t comment on the final results, but I was extremely satisfied with the experience and glad I chose to go to Turkey this time.

Professional experience and realistic expectations – highly recommended!

​Shortly after contacting the Dr. Serkan Aygin Clinic via WhatsApp, I was put in touch with Mr. Berk Cetin. He was my guide throughout the entire process, from the initial planning stages on WhatsApp to personal support at the clinic. I was very glad to have such a competent and friendly contact person who speaks excellent English. Thank you very much for that!
​Since much has already been written here regarding the general procedures at the clinic, I won’t repeat those details.
​However, I would like to address some of the negative reviews I’ve read regarding the hairline. I think some people fail to realize that Dr. Serkan Aygin is not David Copperfield; he works with the donor material available and achieves the best possible result. Some people show up with photos from their youth and expect the exact same hairline they had back then. They don’t seem to understand that a hair transplant does not increase the total amount of hair; it redistributes it.
​If the hairline is set too low, too many grafts must be harvested, which risks thinning out the donor area at the back of the head or resulting in low density at the crown. Dr. Serkan does not make such mistakes. If you want that, you’d have to go to a "botch job" clinic, of which there are plenty in Istanbul. I am well aware that you can get a transplant for half the price elsewhere, but when it comes to my head, I only trust the best.
​My surgery was virtually painless, and everything went exactly as it should. The only uncomfortable part was having to remain still for 6.5 hours, but there is no way around that—you just have to push through it!

Excellent experience, well organised - excellent staff

All in all I am happy with my experience it was smooth and everyone involved was very friendly and helpful throughout, however Dr Serkan only makes a very brief appearance and designs the hairline the rest is carried out by technicians who were all very friendly and looked after me well. There were a lot of people getting their hair transplant on the same day I’m not saying this is a bad thing but I did experience a bit of pain and my intravenous access had to be done twice and they had to call the anaesthetist to do it, also the aftercare kit is very expensive but is pretty essential and you are not told you can just buy the shampoo I had to ask and then it was much cheaper and ok. still now the work looks very clean and I’m in no pain at all and have been looked after well and I can’t wait to see the results as it is hard to comment how it will look from now. Also The place is very clean and accommodating and as of now I’m happy with the work done.
