I recently purchased a vehicle from DriveTime on Atlantic Blvd. The entire team was very helpful and transparent with the entire process, I was in and out in no time and drove off with the vehicle I wanted. First I gabe two stars because I’ve had…

First I gabe two stars because I’ve had the car for 2 years with few issues,alternator being the biggest,fast forward attempt to refinance through my bank and the car is 6,000 negative equity and was told by my bank that many customers have same issue with drive time,don’t do it they also quote you a price for every two weeks so you think you paying $260 it will be double that,I’ve been paying for two years and all the money has gone to interest minus $800 hope this help someone,Loan shark car company,I would rather take the bus and work on my credit Never never never again.

Good customer service

Good customer service, was treated like an actual buyer and listened too instead of being pushed to something I wasn’t interested in like normal car lots tend to do.

Seriously people have the vehicle…

Seriously people have the vehicle checked by a professional before buying I got a vehicle back in August of 2023 I drove off the lot not even a month in the check engine light came on and Everytime I gas up the vehicle is giving problem to start and I have been having issues with this vehicle ever since was told that it has warranty which I was lucky they had covered the new transmission but not the other problems that was found I reached out for help and was told they can't help because it's now six months and they can't do anything about it so I have to pay out of pocket for everything else that they find wrong with this vehicle which I was told by customer relations I guess that's the world we live in "you can't tell with machines when something is going to go bad" was what I was told by the cassette location manager I guess it's my loss but hey I pray me and my children will be just fine getting around while paying for a vehicle I can't drive because it's sitting in a shop waiting to be fixed.

Worst service ever

Worst service ever. Scheduled to see a specific car ahead of time. Got here, looked at the car, the man helping me printed out the car facts. I test drove the car. Get back and the man is explaining warranties to my father and I but speaks to us like we're stupid. I bring up the fact that it says it has a backup cam but there wasn't one when I drove. He looks at the car, says it has a backup cam but it's broken. He says they can fix it before I buy it. I ask about a warranty and he says he has no idea about warranties and can't tell me and I'd have to figure it out myself. I ask how much the car is and he says I have to watch a video first. I watch the video and he comes back with an application to finance. I said no, I want to know how much it is. He leaves to get a price and comes back 5 minutes later to say the car isn't even for sale. I took off work and drove 45 minutes for this car because I wanted to buy it, my dad used up his lunch break at work to come with me, spent an hour here discussing it, was ready to buy it, just for it to not be for sale. Worst experience ever.

DON'T BUY FROM DRIVETIME!!

I wish I could give negative stars. I've only had this vehicle 3mos and have had to put it in the shop twice. The 1st time the check engine light came on the 2nd day I had it and the wheels started making noise. The catalytic converter was bad and the rotors were low but "safe"? The mechanic they sent me to fixed the Conant resurfaced the rotors. The car is now in the shop for an oil leak that's not covered under the warranty and according to Drivetime they cannot assist me because of the mileage on the vehicle. I am paying for a worthless warranty and dealing with a company who doesn't give a damn‼️ There's no way I should have these many issues with a vehicle that was thoroughly checked put and resold with a warranty. So now I have a $4,000 mechanic bill while paying Notes which includes a so called warranty. I feel raped and violated by Drivetime.

Drive Time fell a little short

Allison are sales person was great the only complaint I really have is the presentation of the vehicle. We bought a 2016 cx-9 with 85000 miles there was a broken piece in the dash, the screen has cracks in it, the vehicle had no floor mats, and when the vehicle was delivered to us it came to us very dirty Dust all over the outside and the flooring had pieces of grass. The major complaint I have is if you're going to sell a vehicle you need to make it presentable close to how it came from the factory in 2016.
