I highly recommend Drifter Taxi in Malta. They are always punctual, reliable, and extremely well-organized, making every journey smooth and stress-free. The drivers are professional, polite, and always appropriately dressed in shirts and ties, which reflects the high standards of the company. Their attention to detail and excellent organization truly stand out. Overall, an excellent service from start to finish!

Arranged airport transfer through hotel. All communication prior to arrival was excellent. Our flight was late and they were monitoring the inbound flights so even though we were a hour late the driver was there in arrivals as they said in pre arrival email with a sign with my name on it.
Driver was lovely, polite and friendly. Really was a truly seamless experience - highly recommend to anyone visiting Malta.

We did not have a good experience with Drifter on our first trip to Malta. We had booked a private car transfer through the Radisson Sands, expecting a smooth and professional service.

The representative first messaged to say he would be ten minutes late due to a traffic diversion. He eventually arrived about twenty-five minutes late, led us to a smart-looking van and loaded our bags. Just before leaving, he received a call from his office and argued loudly for several minutes. He then asked us to get out of the van, saying he had been assigned to another duty and would arrange a different car for us.

We were then made to walk a long way through the car park with our bags in the heat, almost back to where we had started, while he stayed on the phone. In the end, he put us in a Bolt taxi, which we could easily have booked ourselves.

We lost almost an hour because of poor organisation and this was not even peak season. A private transfer should remove hassle, not create it. We would not use Drifter again.

On a holiday in Malta we rented a car from Drifter Car Rentals Co. Ltd. In a parking lot someone must have hit one of our side mirrors, which caused minor damage. This was reported to Drifter, who then withdrew the approximately 1,000 euros in deposit. Subsequently we have asked many times for receipts for the work carried out, as we will need it for our insurance company. However, Drifter refuses to provide any. Perhaps because the small damage was much cheaper to repair - or perhaps it was fixed completely at no cost to Drifter.
I would strongly advise against using Drifter.
