I had a housing emergency and needed legal advice urgently. I am so glad that I contacted Dotcom Solicitors. It was all a bit of a rush and I was very agitated and stressed. There was no time to set up a proper interview to assess the situation formally but Mujeeb Rehman very kindly took time out of his busy day to take my call (he was driving, so had to find a safe place to park!), listen to my situation and give me very clear legal advice. Even though he didn't tell me what I wanted to hear, he certainly gave me all the information that I needed to know.

I wasn't charged for the meeting or registered as a client so I was very surprised when I got a follow-up call from Mr Rehman today to check if I was okay and if the situation had improved. He also gave me further advice as to what my next steps should be . Honestly, I was so touched and impressed by this act of kindness. It is so unusual in this day and age to find people who are motivated by helping people more than by making a quick buck. If Mr Rehman is an example of the calibre of people employed by this company, then I cannot commend this company highly enough! Dotcom Solicitors should certainly be on the top of your list of people to call in a legal emergency!

I had to go though the ombudsman to get my money back.
the incompetence of four legal matters was quite severe and got about 90% of my money back.
The Legal advise on property was legally incorrect and got me in trouble for my court proceedings and outcome
The Employment grievance and compensation case that I had was abysmal and effectively had to deal with it my self in the end and had to withdraw it after a year and was given lies that the case was going well.. where they even filed the case late and I was not told about it. Hence that is why I had to withdraw it where I had indisputable evidence against the employer of their wrong doing.
There may be other disciplines that the firm is offering which might be good at but for Property and Employment cases be very very careful.
