Visited Dobbies
Visited Dobbies, Gosforth, on Wednesday 28th December for a coffee and peppermint tea. We waited in a very long queue as people ordered food. The staff serving were slow, miserable and appeared totally uninterested in the customers. When we reached the point to place our order we were informed that there was no peppermint tea available despite there being a Sainsbury's inside the store. Very disappointed overall by the experience.

Excellent Xmas shop here today .
Excellent Xmas shop here today ..plenty of offers right across the store even on non Xmas items. I was able to save at lease a third off my bill with the all the offers and my membership discount.
Well worth the trip ..so busy, did not have time to wait in the lengthy queue for this months free coffees but will return before Xmas when the offers are usually even better.
All in all shopping there is a very pleasant relaxing experience... if any slight criticism they could maybe fire up and staff their second coffee machine at busy times of the day which is where the queue usually gets bottle-necked.

We love visiting Dobbies Gosforth for a morning coffee and breakfast sandwich, the food and service is excellent.
While in store we take advantage of browsing their numerous ranges and the plants department is always well stocked with great quality plants.

Great place to shop, browse and eat
Always enjoy popping into my local store, I was there to pick up compost and manure for my allotment, great value. Love having a coffee in the café.

Went for breakfast Sunday 16th October
Queue for tea/coffee was extremely slow. Only one member of staff serving very slowly. As we waited in line for hot food. Tea server allowed customers from behind the food queue to come ahead of us if they only wanted drinks. Therefore pushing us further back.
We therefore didn’t wait for drinks as our breakfast would be cold.
