I attended your Christmas evening at Glostershire store and spent £24.99.on returning home my granddaughter informed me if I had spent £25.00 I would have had a money off coupon,it would have been nice to have been told this at the checkout .

I have just given a review which you should read on the survey details given at the bottom of receipts. . Nowhere to put contact details so this is my membership card no 6001 001 435 794. A very disappointing visit to Gloucester (again) yesterday.

The soft play and staff were great - only let down was the cleanliness of the toilets.

Went with my daughter-in-law and granddaughter today. Had lunch in the restaurant, served by Summer. What a sweet soul. She adored my granddaughter and was so lovely to us all, she told us she had only been working for you for 4 weeks and loved it. She really is a treasure and will be an asset to the company. Please nurture her and appreciate her strengths, she will do you proud, I have absolutely no doubts.

Good selection and prices. Managed to get some sunflowers late in the season for a decent price, and plenty of selection of stakes to help with planting and growth. Knowledgeable and friendly staff.

Went with a friend for a morning coffee. Poor lady serving was on her own as seems to be the ‘norm’ these days.

You have to get your coffee shop sorted. Another long queue. Very friendly staff just need more staff or a better system. Waiting in a queue for 20mins isn’t fun with a toddler in toe

Called in for a light lunch at 11.30. Despite printed menu advertising toasties, etc, from 11.30 I was told service didn't start until 12.00.

When I ordered at 12.00 I asked for the "freshly made quiche". 30 minutes later I was presented with a quiche that was anything but freshly made. It was tough to cut!

The only reason I haven't scored lower is because the meal had a good flavour despite the quiche being tough.

Friendly staff, welcoming store. Fresh good quality plants and homewear.

My wife and I visited last Saturday (11th May). Really polite, intelligent, personable, attentive man at the checkout. Despite being busy he was incredibly efficient and we signed up. His name might have been Robert, but in his twenties, dark hair and beard. Really impressed by him (trust you can tell)

The staff here are always helpful but today today I was so grateful to Alex in the cafe who fortunately spotted when I left my bag behind and put it in a place of safety until I returned (in a panic) some time later !

Never going back to the restaurant in Dobbies in Cheltenham again!
It was a very poor experience. The place was very understaffed. We had to wait at least 20 minutes before our order was taken and still waiting a further 30 minutes for the food order.
When the waitress came to take out order, there was no apology for having to wait so long.
When the soup came, there was a layer of skin on the top from where it had been sat on the side for a while.

We wanted to just come in for some breakfast and a coffee…the queue for the cafe was ridiculously long, we were sat in the restaurant waiting for some service but only one person was taking orders, so we never had any service and walked out. Just a heads up to say that there would be a wait is all that needs to be said instead of ignoring us

Won’t be going back anytime soon. Waited in queue for 30mins to get a coffee. Was seated by restaurant staff only to be told that there was only 1 main as they had no staff. Sticky tables. Wow we’re leaving we called into Waitrose. Area was unmanned so we had to pay in centre. Again waited 10mins to pay for items. Staff were so thin on the ground so if you had a query you had to track one down. Very disgruntled

Our visit was just to buy a few top up plants and to claim the free drinks and cakes for my birthday through club+. Mission accomplished! Thanks, the cakes were delicious!

I went with my wife, sister in law and partner and my mother in law. We had a cup of coffee each. I waited in the queue for half an hour before I was served. There were two members of staff serving and the queue was out of the door. This, I’m afraid, is the norm here. I feel sorry for the staff. They do a great job but are stressed because there are never enough of them despite there being two coffee making machines available. This is not as a result of Covid it is the norm. I said to one of the staff about the lack of staff but she, understandably, wouldn’t comment. The coffee was luke warm and weak. I’ve raised this issue before but nothing has ever happened to rectify it. Clearly the customer isn’t always right then. Further up the road there is a garden centre called Highfields it’s extremely popular, they have sufficient staff and the coffee is better. I’ll have to think very carefully about whether I go back!

Booked soft play for our 2 grandchildren 1.15 pm on the 17 th February arrived and a rude lady told us to come back 5 mins before the soft play would open. so had a mooch around arrived back at 1.10 pm a queue had formed with other parents and we all were still waiting at 1.20 pm before anyone appeared . Swiftly checked on paperwork and let in by this time it was 1.25pm kids had a fabulous time meeting new friends , then at 2.07pm the same rude lady came in and shouted 8 minutes to go ..
at 2.15 pm another lady came in who was also rude and again shout soft play over .. then proceeded to turn lights out and went around tell parents and guardians it’s time to leave now .. no please could you rally your children as we have another session .. WOW !!! we have visited this soft play on several occasions and have never been met with such rudeness by your staff .. hence we will not be returning . Doobies a little training may be in order

Short of Staff in the restaurant

I sent an email December 24th, have had no reply.
Took a letter into the Dobbies and asked to be passed on to the manager on 9th January 2024 and still no reply.
