I'm glad the divorce part of the process went well, although I couldn't find how to see progress as it happened and my ex partner seemed to get more information from the government site than I could. The let down was the Clean break order. I asked for extra help as I have AuDHD and needed a lot of questions answered, with patience and tact. It didnt help that I was told I would be speaking with a woman, which I preferred, only to be changed at the last minute with someone (male) that didnt seem to get that i needed extra help and support. This left me so confused and left alone. It ended up with me paying for the financial order and it not being used and I had expressly said about my then partner wanting to go through the process, but with not enough questions answered, pulled out of the process. This has left me financially unguarded going into the future and paying extra for a service I haven't used. I feel I have paid for something I thought was a bespoke service but just signposted to a confusing website.

Badly Managed Service
I paid for a 'fully managed service' with Divorce On-Line as I felt I needed extra guidance through the process. I was unaware that the people corresponding with me are not solicitors, until I had to appear in court to explain why my ex partner had applied for the Final Order and not me. I feel strongly that my case was not managed appropriately and this was confirmed when I recieved an email on Friday afternoon, instructing me to fill out another D81 and a fact finder, after my Final Order was approved. I already had an approved Consent Order re finances, but apparently my legal experts had lost this information. In summary, use this route if you enjoy unnecessary court appearances and mind boggling stress over a weekend.

Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback. We are truly sorry that your experience with our Fully Managed Service fell short of the support and clarity you expected, and we regret the stress this caused you.
We have reviewed your case in detail and would like to address the main points raised:
• Final Order Application: You specifically asked us not to apply for the Final Order until your Consent Order was approved, as you were awaiting the CETV and later dealing with changes regarding the house sale and a potential inheritance. We respected this instruction. Once the Consent Order was approved on 10th December, the standard cover letter from the court clearly advised that the applicant should contact us if they had not yet applied for the Final Order. Unfortunately, we did not receive any communication from you after approval, so your ex-partner proceeded with his own application. This led to the court appearance you mentioned.
• Consent Order & Documents: There was significant back-and-forth throughout the process (including amendments in late October, requests to withdraw the order in November, and further changes in early December). The approved Consent Order was not lost — it was received by the court and approved on 10th December. The request for a further D81 and Fact Finder sent after approval was an administrative error on our part. We have already apologised to you directly for this mistake.
• Service Team: Our team consists of experienced paralegals and divorce specialists (not solicitors) who handle the day-to-day management of cases under the supervision of our legal team. We clearly set this out in our service information and client agreement.
However, we acknowledge that you may not have fully appreciated this distinction at the outset, and we will review how we communicate this to future clients.
We strive to make the divorce process as straightforward as possible, but we fully recognise that the delays and changes in your case, combined with the error after the Final Order, created unnecessary worry and additional court involvement. We have fed your feedback into our internal review process to prevent similar issues recurring.
If you would like us to review any aspect of your file again or discuss how we can help resolve any outstanding matters, please contact us directly and we will assist.
Once again, we are sorry for the stress you experienced.

Divorce-online reasonable priced for a professional, helpul and supportive company.
Divorce-online were very reasonable priced as i had a cleanbreak and divorce for a fixed price as i wanted to protect any future assets after divorce too! I mainly had contact via email or phone with Stuart May, big thank you to him especially, He is a credit to the company, he was polite, supportive, very helpful he always but my mind at ease in a very difficult and stressful time. Questions were answered same day via email, many times within minutes of emailing so there was no chasing them. They sent you everything you need and then they would send to them to the courts for you. The company comes highly recommended. I would say 100% use them again, but i have no plans to ever re marry.

Trouble free divorce
From the first enquiring call to the final paperwork the information given was concise and very clear. At no point did I feel left out of the proceedings.
