Discrimination
I’m calling out this company for blatant discrimination. After their first visit, where they realized I’m deaf, they decided to stop serving me. They seemed frustrated by communication barriers, and when I requested service again, they suddenly used my location as an excuse to refuse me.
Now here’s the kicker: my partner, who is NOT deaf, lives with me at the exact same address, and they had no issue showing up for service recently.
This morning, I called to schedule an appointment, and everything was going fine until the lady on the phone suddenly said, “Oh, wait, I see a note… we can’t serve your location.”
This is clear discrimination, and I’m exposing it. Let’s see how they react when more people find out how they treat customers with disabilities.
Caring Organization
Every team member has been extremely patient and kind in this trying moment of my life. All I can say is “Thank you.” 😇
Kimberly Mulvey and Dispatch Health
Kimberly Mulvey, NP arrives with no equipment to do labs as my Dads medical team at Northwestern requested. She insisted my 93 year old Dad go to Emergency Room in spite of medical teams needs for labs only. She expressed herself by raising her voice, enunciating and constantly interrupting. She then had my Dad dismissed permanently from Dispatch for questioning her opinion. Dispatch Health Corporate office supported her decision and did nothing with my complaint. As a result my Dad had to wait additional unnecessary days for different mobile lab and management of his UTI.
Predatory Practices
They've no business being on Trustpilot. Very unethical. Was contacted upon my discharge from hospital on a Saturday night? Red flag. Inquiring if I had scheduled a post hospital follow up. I was thrilled that they could come to my home and asked specifically if they would draw labs. They confirmed a nurse practitioner could do that and I booked an appointment. Upon confirming the day before visit, I reiterated that labs were my only concern. The man (David) said he'd have to make sure and he'd call back. Well they don't do labs. His misunderstanding. Needless to say, I cancelled. Crisis averted! And shame on them.
I have had 2 positive experiences with…
I have had 2 positive experiences with Dispatch Health. The first was that they correctly identified that I had Covid in 2022. I then had really great care in March 2024 with a plugged up ear. They took time to check my ear, and did a follow-up by sending an ENT to call me back. It turned out that I had a very serious health issue. Their diligence is awesome.
PPX by DispatchHealth
DispatchHealth Urgent Care prior to 2023 was used 2 or 3 times by my 93 yr old aunt, for falls, x-ray of lungs with cold symptoms and low potassium. All were within 2 hrs as they promised. Care/treatment was acceptable. Unfortunately, March 2024, she needed xrays while she was at a Memory Care facility. She is now 96 and has dementia. She fell and hurt her back, and I didn't want her to spend numerous hours in ER alone as I was out of town. The DispatchHealth/PPX Imaging couldn't give the facility an ETA (which apparently was common), saying they were short-staffed. I called the facility 24 hours later thinking the imaging operated the same as the urgent care part of DispatchHealth, without knowing that it was common for the x-ray techs to come 2 or more days later. I was surprised that my aunt was not seen, no ETA of x-ray tech. I called DispatchHealth, they did not have a record of the order, said I had to call DispatchHealth/PPX directly. I did. They tried to again kick the can down the road and wanted to give me the third-party scheduling company. I refused and said it's their job to follow up. I told them my aunt was still in pain and if they couldn't get there within a reasonable amount of time, they should have said that in the beginning, then I would have insisted she go to the ER. The facility staff also again called for ETA to no avail and was told they were on the other side of town 40 plus mins away doing x-rays there. Finally that evening, approx. 36 hrs or more later, they came and did the x-ray, but only because we followed up and complained about the lack of triage, lack of protocol for assessing patients and especially because of lack of staff. I will not use the x-ray portion of DispatchHealth unless it's not urgent or the patient is not in pain. Terrible disregard for the age of the patient, seemed to care more about the tech's travel time.
Always optimum quality of care!!!
Every visit I’ve ever had has been a wonderful experience. This Sunday the 17th I was in immense pain. Mark the technician who came out showed so much empathy. He had to consult a nurse practitioner via conferencing to ensure the medication called in would be a good fit. I’m so thankful that this health business model exists. Thankfully, it was. Within a few hours I could begin to feel a world of difference!
I worked here as a healthcare provider…
I worked here as a healthcare provider for a year and a half. Very predatory marketing/billing schemes and suspicious hiring and promoting practices!! Taking advantage of us healthcare and insurance like the rest. STAY AWAY. I worked in Arizona and helped this company get 5 star ratings which I regret.
They don’t drug test their employees either!
I was contacted by Shannon werb ( a dispatch health leader and ceo of array health now) to question me about a negative review of the company I had, which seemed in bad faith. I do not trust these people who take advantage of our current medical system abusing patients and medical labor!
I had a worthless visit with them on…
I had a worthless visit with them on December 4, 2023. I gave the tech my insurance card & to this date, they have yet to file the visit with my insurance company. They keep sending bills to me saying I owe. I’ve called them 3 times!! I’m going to report this company as well to the State Attorney General’s Office.
Zero stars !!
Zero stars !!! Gave them my insurance cards (Took copies at visit). For the past 3 months have been receiving bills due to them not submitting to my insurance. The last one was stating they were sending to collections. I will be contacting the Attorney General office if this does not get resolved!!! Do not use this company !!!
Fraudulent billing
Three times now, Dispatch Health has erroneously billed our insurance as home health instead of urgent care resulting in huge medical bills and hours on the phone in order to attempting to get the issue resolved. The practitioners are amazing and we used to recommend this company to everyone. Now, I tell everyone to avoid this company at all costs. No one wants to pay almost $1000+ for a few visits for kids with colds when our urgent care copay is $30. This company should be charged with fraudulent billing.
Amateur Hour!
Yesterday I made an appointment for today between 11AM and 6PM. No one ever showed up and no one ever called to confirm my appointment. When I called at 6:30PM to ask for an explanation, they couldn't find my appointment. Then they called me at about 7PM to say they could keep the appointment tomorrow. Then at about 7:30PM a different person called me to ask if they could come tomorrow because they are so overworked. I have no confidence in anything DISPATCH HEALTH has to offer. I declined.
Consistently helpful, efficient, professional
I was told they would be there by 10pm because they were very busy. In less than 2 hours they were at my door. As usual, from the phone staff to the medical team they were prepared, professional, thorough and kind. They even arranged for a visiting imaging service to do a chest xray at my home. Three times I have used them and 3 times they were the best.
Not helpful as bad diagnosis cost me 2 days of healing
I waited for help from dispatch health so I could stay at home with husband. They came all was good but then did not give me any medicine/Antibiotics said I did not have infection after fighting cough for 10-12 days
So 2 days later I went to urgent care received correct diagnosis and an antibiotic. I am finally better
BE AWARE AVOID
This company SUCKS! Terrible communication and no regard for potential patients. I want to give them the -10 star. We were given a guarantee time between 2-2:30pm for our 10yr old daughter and by 3:30 we called them back and they said someone would be at our house by 10pm. Then we get a call just before 7pm letting us know they are not going to make it. My daughter is super sick and potentially missing her opportunity to get an antiviral like Tamaflu. THIS IS NOT OKAY!!
Are they always problematic? Prescription for Paxlovid for Covid was…
Prescription for Paxlovid for Covid was not sent to pharmacy; a system glitch I was told. CSR at dispatch health fixed it and spoke to pharmacist. A 4 hour delay but I wouldn't have known without calling a slammed pharmacist. CSR was sweet, helpful and effective so treat her well. Prescription was ready 30 minutes after she called the pharmacy. They will have to earn a higher score next time though. 3 stars for system glitch, 5 stars for CSR
Nurse Practitioner Jennifer Bailey and…
Nurse Practitioner Jennifer Bailey and Q the EMT were awesome. Our first time using Dispatch Health. They were professional and the service they provided was beyond extraordinary. I will be using Dispatch Health again. Thank you so much!!!
More than 5 star experience with providers
My actual experience with the providers was worthy of more than 5 stars. When I continued to have symptoms and my fever increased in the wee hours of the night, I called Dispatch Health. A team (2) was at my door at 8:15 the following morning. I will use Dispatch again. MY ONE CONCERN was with the billing. I provided my credit card for the co-pay. I was then billed for the co-pay. This makes no sense.
My first visit was perfect
My first visit was perfect. They came out after I got all the information to him and took care of me and everything was fine. The ladies were wonderful now my second issue. Couple of months later I call and they don’t know who I am. They have no information have to repeat everything five times my address my name my phone number to verify everything over and over and over. It’s miserable I’m sick. I don’t want to talk on the phone and repeat my address my name my shoes and everything over and over when you have everything that I told you the first time your dispatch people are terrible you shouldn’t be asking a sick person over and over and over again what their damn address phone number and spelling of her name is I will never use you again. This is the last time unless you get your dispatch people to get on the ball and ask what type it in you can verify it once I don’t mind that but you don’t ask five times the same damn information!!!
Scam
Home Health referred this co for a UTI for a family member. They took all the information and once they Ran Medicare told me they were in high demand and no appts available “today or tomorrow”and could only book out 2 days. Said to call back tomorrow and assured me all the ins information would be saved so I would not have to repeat. I called back today and they didn’t have any ins saved. They told me they had plenty of openings. Once we went over the ins again, they told me they were in high demand and directed me to Primary care or Urgent Care ctr. I asked them why they just said they had availability… also asked to look at tomorrow. This lady says she can’t see tomorrow yet. They lie and change their story. I’m not sure what the point of that is unless it is to harvest Patient names, birthdates and ins info.
I will be calling the BBB next. I warned them they would have a bad review as I don’t appreciate being scammed.
Karmas coming for people that scam the Elderly.
